Those cattle came from 1/2 mile or so just to listen to a Trombone Concert. We can say they have music appreciation. A few were dancing just simply wonderful. Thanks, guys for playing for them.
I think those old cattle herders got it all wrong, all they needed was a trombone sextet to round up their herds instead of all that riding around on horses with ropes.
Oddly, cows are huge fans of music apparently. I've seen a tone of these videos where people play for cows and they come running. *Edit: writing "tone" was a typo but I found it fitting so it's staying, lol
This is so sweet. Animals love music. I saw another video of a woman playing a guitar and singing, and the cow put his head in her lap and closed his eyes. Elephants love music. My cat used to sit on the piano bench with me when I played. We can communicate with animals more than we know.❤
I love how the cows don't just meander over with mild curiosity - they hustle themselves over to listen intently. And some seem to be singing along! Just the kind of audience all musicians want.
The song and arrangement they chose was very similar to their own contented moos, as they grouped up. Imo, they thought it was a new group of friendly cows, at first. You can see when they got close enough to realize that there weren’t any cows, and stopped for a second. Cows are _extremely_ intelligent. I’d be greatly in favor of reducing our animal meat consumption in general. I used to raise sheep and they’re delicious, but we only needed maybe 4 sheep a _year_ to feed my two young kids and me. Idk, it would be nice to discuss the whole meat thing without folks freaking out.
@@irenafarm I used to live right down the street from a dairy farm, and would visit the cows often. As you say, they're very intelligent, and very curious. Unless I was going to eat only cheese and fruit, there was no getting around that, and you can't live for years on just fruit and cheese.
