I used to watch TV late at night, and when I turned the TV on, a mouse would come out and sit in front of the TV and watch it with me, while giving himself a bath. When I turned the TV off, he'd disappear again. It was the damnedest thing. bee... When on holiday in Oregon a few years back, I visited the national park area around mount Hood and had a similar experience. Whilst playing an Irish flute a deer moved up very close and spent quite a long while just listening, before slowly, peacefully and quietly moving off. Yep, it didn't attract all the horses. The geldings didn't seem to particularly enraptured by the music, short of the one gelding that rolled. That, at least showed he was at ease enough to roll (a submissive stance, showing his belly) in the company of someone playing a flute, which is not probably the average thing that happens in the paddocks at a horse farm. The 2 horses, one sorrel and one white Arab, were both mares (did you note that?) The "ladies" loved his music and the musician, for playing it, not for a carrot, not for a treat, because they listened (watch their ears move back and forth as he plays). They liked it. They not only didn't move away, they actively sought him out in the paddock, wanted to be with this musician and his music. They gave all kinds of body language that tells that. it's not unreasonable to assume that certain noises frequencies are calming. for example, babies tend to sleep better with white noise (static of tv, car engine sound etc) since it's pretty close to what blood flow sounds like within the womb.
That's a big flute, it's pretty close to bassoon territory! If you don't have any albums, you should make some, and if you do, where can they be bought? I like the lower keyed flutes.
+SpiritBear12 Amon Olarin makes them, but i think he is done, which leaves Michael Graham Allen (who is actually a white man) who is capable, but always reluctant to do custom work (I know personally, I tried to get him to make me a bass plains flute like he played on the album "In Medicine River"). I have bought from Amon Olarin a couple times in the past, see aoflutes.com
+mlaiuppa he says right of the bat it is a F#, Amon Olarin makes a F# largebore native american flute. this isn't about looks like, this is about it IS. I'm not only telling you the type of flute but the maker of it as well, who would be Ken Light. see aoflutes.com last time I talked to Ken he sounded like he was done though really. you can still see his work at that site though.
The horses just look confused as to why there is man standing in their paddock blowing on a giant stick, lol. Perhaps there are secret carrots hidden inside the stick that the man is eating.
FlyingMonkies325 They shake their heads because of the flies on their ears... the chestnut horse in the grey fly sheet was just itchy after laying in the sun and felt the need to roll, not unusual at all.

This would be great to have few hours recorded to sleep to .. this is beautiful horses have beautiful souls ❤
This was probably very common back in the day.. I feel like people were much tighter with their horses, and this conjures an image of a guy chilling by a small fire at night on the open plain
animals are old souls who remember the music of their past
dean winchestette Ever seen cows react to kulning? Modern cows still seem to have knowledge of ancient herding calls. Quite awesome.
that's what I thought to their ancestors heard it from native people's
Smol Bean824 I hate you
Smol Bean824 god you are stupid
Spanish brought the horses over. Before that the native Americans never had horses.
They love the good vibrations. Perfect range and timbre!

I could listen to him play that flute all day....beautiful!!!
This music put me to sleep! So nice and relaxing!
The lower tones emulate a heart beat. a safe sound from before birth. yes, I love and know animals.
Greg Cobb you think that goes the same for people too?
it's not unreasonable to assume that certain noises frequencies are calming. for example, babies tend to sleep better with white noise (static of tv, car engine sound etc) since it's pretty close to what blood flow sounds like within the womb.
Unusual ByDefault wow, that's amazing
HAHAHAHAHA. NONSENSE LOL
Conservatism First smart😎
That sound is so beautiful. ❤️
What a sound! It's a combination of mysterious, beautiful, and calming. I could listen to it all day.
I could sit here and listen to that all day. You play so beautifully I could feel it in my soul. You have me captivated as well :)
That's a big flute, it's pretty close to bassoon territory!
If you don't have any albums, you should make some, and if you do, where can they be bought? I like the lower keyed flutes.
SpiritBear12 yeah it's beautiful low-key sound
+SpiritBear12 Amon Olarin makes them, but i think he is done, which leaves Michael Graham Allen (who is actually a white man) who is capable, but always reluctant to do custom work (I know personally, I tried to get him to make me a bass plains flute like he played on the album "In Medicine River").
I have bought from Amon Olarin a couple times in the past, see aoflutes.com
+mlaiuppa he says right of the bat it is a F#, Amon Olarin makes a F# largebore native american flute.
this isn't about looks like, this is about it IS.
I'm not only telling you the type of flute but the maker of it as well, who would be Ken Light.
see aoflutes.com
last time I talked to Ken he sounded like he was done though really.
you can still see his work at that site though.
Such a relaxing style of music. Peaceful.
They definitely like treats.
Way to Piss on the Magic guys
Jennifer Wright THANK YOU lol
Jennifer Wright never ceases to be haters in this world... only adding to the ugliness on this earth...smh
Thats the most beautiful sounding instrument I ever heard
The white horse says hey over here put me in that warm trance Amazing sounds and playing✌❤
