Animals like music. My Grandfather played music for his cows twice a day when milking them. They enjoyed it and were relaxed . He believed they gave more milk.
There have been studies to prove that (or disprove it, of course). Turned out in one study, some years back now, a dairy farmer who played music via a sound system in the milking barn increased his yield by a small but statistically (and financially) significant amount. Classical is their favourite (though I've heard of some liking trad or smooth jazz - not "modern", unharmonious music), with Mozart being their ultimate favourite. So even the composer made a statistically significant difference!
