GREAT JOB, GREAT NAME. :)
😊
😊
😊
😊
“Instead of a past, she has a future.” Such a great description for horses and people as well. This was really an inspiring video and hope the best for Hope’s future!
So true!
Or just leave the horse be
And spend time feeding and clean I up after the horse
@@arthurdewith7608 A horse that isn't trained to live with humans is a danger to the people caring for them. That means when the horse hurts someone it will go to the dog food plant.
I got the chills when he sad that😢
God bless the dear woman that took this mare on and gave her a chance! Hope is a lovely girl! What a nice mover!
She's beautiful! 🐎 ❤❤
Yes, she is a nice mover. Would love to see her when she's had more training and under saddle.
I used to think that its funny seeing people say 'shes a nice mover' etc as I used to think that all horses moved nicely. I was wrong. After riding an ex-trotter standardbred that made my butt numb, I've become more aware of the nuances. The spring in their step, the length of their step and depth in their step, all important 😂
She's beautiful! I love the paint horses. I love horses period but the paints are my favorite. Especially the gypsy vanners.
I too use to have a trotter who was a hard bumpy ride. Crazy getting use to it.
🤗👍🏻🙋🏻
"HOPE" is an amazing name!! She is trying so hard to trust and wants a friend and leader. Beautiful, congrats on a beautiful girl!!
Definitely
My friend owned her before this person, we called her rain!
As someone who wishes I could have had horses, I love watching Ryan’s horsemanship! He truly is a horse whisperer!!
Thank you 😊
Casey, I agree with you. Like you I wish I could have had horses, have loved them all my life. It's wonderful to see Ryan work so positively with these beautiful animals.
Great video again….. fab training
It’s never too late! I’ve always loved horses, but didn’t have the means to learn to ride until I was 52. I started taking lessons, then I leased a horse, and now I own a sweet 11 year old gelding. I follow Ryan’s training approach and I’ve learned so much. Still so much to learn!
Yes I definitely want horses 😁🐎❤
I teared up when you named her Hope. So much progress. She seems to be a good girl.
I did too!
I actually burst into tears...a first for me watching any of these videos!
I did as well. 😅🥰🐴
So did I❤❤
Ryan helped me train mine and my daughters horse when they were 2 and 3 years old. They have been great horses and are now 18 and 19 years old. They have never strayed from their lessons with Ryan. They don't run away. They respect my space and me mounting them. They are excellent in reining and leg pressure. I have no problems trailering them. I can ride in all terrains, including crossing streams, and then take them to the show arena. I'm glad I invested in his training sessions and it saved me alot of headaches down the road.
This kind and caring man is the best example of how it really works ❤❤❤
Thank you for helping the horse not being so afraid and helping the woman. It was amazing to watch.❤❤❤❤
Hello how are you doing today 😊
I love that the horse gets time to think while you are explaining to the owner. In most cases, the owner doesn't take the time to let the horse absorb.
She acts like someone gave up on her. Probably someone that wasent ready or dedicated or impatient.
Excelent horsemanship. It is truly a art and a reflection of a persons spirit. You cant be fool a horse
Hi Ryan! This was a very good training session for this horse, and you did a great job with her. I don’t have horses in my life now, but I have worked with them from my early 20’s to just a couple of years ago at the age of 68. I lost my last horse a couple of years ago to old age and the rigours of his time as a reasonably successful cutting horse. He was 32yo when he passed, and I had him as my friend since he was 10yo, so I felt his loss deeply.
I am 70 now and my old bones can no longer respond the way they need to when starting young horses or competing, or just sitting on a good horse for any length of time.
Your channel provides me with a lot of pleasure, and I love to watch you work with these horses that need a little help to reach there potential. Your videos take me back to earlier times in my life with horses, and evoke some fond memories, and for that I thank you. Keep up the great work, and greetings from Australia 🇦🇺!
My story too! Blessings from Texas.
What a great comment! Thank you for sharing the emotion😊❤
So good to see. Hope already looks much happier being with her leader and protector.
Hope is a great name for this mare. She has been handled some then....then something changed and she reverted backwards! Glad she is being given a chance to recover and end up with a forever home!
I really like how you get as much background information as possible before working with the horse and then deciding on which is the best approach to use. I always feel that you always have the horses best interest at heart which makes for a well rounded horse trainer. Congrats on a great job Ryan. 🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thank you
I have no idea who you are, but you're doing a great job. What you're putting in that horse will probably save it from a lot of trouble and pain. Horse world needs people like you. Good job.
I’m literally crying this was so beautiful to watch 🥹🥹
I am SO impressed by Ryan's knowledge, and even more so by his compassion. Talk about watching a master at work!
Absolutely beautiful. Inexpressible emotions watching this. The mare was so tuned in, so willing to trust, so WANTING to trust. The call and response were almost magical; your approach and retreat were perfectly timed, perfectly calibrated. I don't know when a video has moved me this much. Literally brought tears to my eyes. You, sir, are truly a rare horseman indeed.
I was privileged to attend a number of Ray Hunt sessions back in the day, and I appreciate so much your baseline of observing where the horse "is." I watched another guy who (I thought) was into looking for where the horse was "wrong" and "fixing" it. It wasn't forceful, and it was still observing, but it wasn't honoring "the slightest try," like Ray used to say. It's one of those funny life things, that NOT having pre-set expectations invites the "come-along." I hope lots of folks are watching and listening to you!
Wisdom here☝️ Thank you for your comment.
As a lifetime wannabe horseman I have to say how much respect and appreciation I have for the incredible sensitivity and understanding of these beautiful creatures...THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR AMAZING SKILLS AND LOVE FOR OUR EQUINE FRIENDS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Make the right things easy and the wrong things hard.
Truly amazing, the psychology of equine mentality, I'm a city slicker and totally in awe of your keen knowledge.
Excellent demonstration on how to get those first touches on a Mustang or any horse that is fearful of contact/pressure - no need to run them into the ground.
Reminded me of my dad training a wild mustang to become a great cutting horse. He was firm and kind. Beautiful Mustang from the late 40's. Grateful for the memory you inspired.
Where there's hope there's a chance. The lady had hope and contacted you. Hope had hope and wanted a companion and leader. You had hope to share with both of them. Great video!
😊
God bless and keep all those who help horses. Hope, what a beautiful name.
This takes me back to North Dakota when I saved a mare from abuse. I named her Diamond because she was a diamond in the ruff. After earning each other's trust, she stood pretty good for hoof trimming. It didn't take long to get her weight back on her as she had been tied to a heavy object with a rope around her neck. All she had was very little grass available, no water and just skin and bones. Trust came very quick! She even provided a foal and was a fantastic mother! I'm 60 now and have moved back home to Texas. I miss my little slice of heaven in North Dakota and having horses! Thanks for sharing this video and bringing me back to my horse days!GOD bless!🙏🙏🙏
Watching this was pure joy! Hope is SUCH a good girl!♥️♥️♥️
One thing I’m going to say is that if you haven’t subscribed to this mans Patreon you are missing out! This mans response time and advice is amazing!
Thank you Ryan!
Merci pour cette vidéo ,cette jument est magnifique ,good job Sir 👍👍👍👍❤🙋🐴🐴
Amazing to watch. Incredible how far you brought this horse (and her owner) in just one session.
How long was the session? She seemed pretty quick to catch on. Hope will be a great horse for this lady. So glad she found a good home!
I can't believe that it has been a year 😮. I'm so happy for you. I have horses again after 33 years. I'm 61, and I finally got to canter last week. It was the best ride. I too am riding through the pain. Never give up. You gave me hope and strength. Thank you.😊
Super great job Ryan. Hope has a ton of potential and has a nice mind. She understands physical pressure very well. Building confidence is really important to her. She is going to have a good life now.
Just wanted to say I watch a lot of horse training videos. I've only subscribed to two channels, Steve Young Horsemanship (from Wales), and yours. You both take pretty much the same approach, and it makes the most sense to me. There are so many trainers in the US with RUclips channels where the techniques look downright wrong but the production values of the videos are great, making the trainer look like some sort of western hero while he basically whips a horse into submission. The attitude is the horse is being "bad" and needs to be shown who is boss. Thanks for being another sane, knowledgeable voice out there.
I love listening to the psychology behind why a horse does things and why Ryan does what he does. He is so calm and gentle. Too many other trainers I have watched are all about getting bigger than the horse.
Just a brilliant horseman! I am so impressed.
AMAZING!!!!! PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST I'VE SEEN IN A HORSE CHANGE SO FAST, FROM FEAR, RESISTANCE, HESITATION, TO WHAT I SAW, SOMETHING SHE PROBABLY WANTED ALL ALONG. CONFIDENCE, TRUST & TO TOUCH HER HEAD, INCREDIBLE PERSONAL SPACE, SHE GAVE. YOU NAMED HER HOPE & THERE'S SO MUCH PROMISE I THINK AHEAD WITH HER. I LOVE A HAPPY ENDING!!! GREAT JOB RYAN!!!!
What a sweet girl. She looks as though she’s really ready to absorb all that knowledge, like a sponge. She’s a very willing partner.
Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Very lucky Penny to have had a chance to work with such a great horsemen. Good luck with hope.
Just wonderful. He “listened” to the horse and trained accordingly. That’s a good teacher.
I love the name "Hope", You're amazing Ryan.😊
I love your approach.
This mare has alot going for her.
She accepted everything you asked her to do.
Nice job ❤❤
At 5:19 explaining the difference between authoritative and authoritarian. The difference between a horse who is willing and engaged with their leader vs a horse who is stressed and mentally checked out. Thanks for helping horses by helping people Ryan.
This kind caring man knows his stuff? Beautiful ❤❤❤
Only guy worth watching. Truly. This is what I was taught and I'm old.
Ryan is the real deal....not the money making 'talker'.
My grandfather worked with all the wild horses no one wanted...and to me the more untrusting they are, the more brilliant they can be once you get their trust.
I really appreciate the not running around pen to get horse tired. I work with lots of hot breeds that never would wear out lol.
A thoroughbred just starts laughing after 20 or more rings aground me!
I.possible to wear out a thoroughbred in lounging around. 😂
GLAD IT TURNED OUT SO WELL. SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL HORSE WHO SHOWS SHE LIKES TO LEARN & TRIES VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND RYAN. NOW SHE HAS A CHANCE FOR A GREAT FUTURE.
I am just starting my journey with horses. I’ve always loved them, when I was a child, I dreamed of having horses. My older boy, who is autistic is in equine therapy. I had some really traumatic couple of months recently and started on my own journey of equine therapy and taking riding lessons. They have been absolute magic for me. I watch your videos almost everyday. This video made me tear up when you picked her name, Hope. I love how gentle you are and how much you respect them. It’s been incredible to watch. Thanks for sharing your incredible gift and the magic of these animals with the rest of us. Horses give me hope, hope for healing and happiness 💛💛
What a wonderful video to watch first thing this morning.... so many beautiful moments, life lessons not just for horses but humans too. Thank you as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great job. That was 50% training the horse and 50 % the owner.
Beings me to tears , so many horses are misunderstood , as this sweet girl apparently. Thank you so much to both of you , for saving her.
When human and animal make that connection and developed that bond… it is magical!
AMAZING ! Great session! What a wonderful job yet again Ryan! God bless the owners for taking a chance and saving Hope! I rescued a pony once that was same way was told it was dangerous but after I did exactly what Ryan did that pony softened just as fast and was a total sweetheart!
Shes so so smart, she been hurt badly. Thankyou
Cool transformation! Thank you for walking us through this.
I must confess, when he chose the name "Hope" it brought a tear to my eye! Such a lovely horse!
Absolutely precious mare!!
Loved this lesson Ryan. All went so quiet and well!
That was awesome!! More progress than you’d think in one day
I think so too!
I have alot of respect for this guy, hes very caring towards every horse, no matter how difficult they may be, hes consistant, the horse's well being are his top priority, hes patient with the horses and the owners. I would love to have him over for dinner, to pick his brain. Youre awesome Ryan Rose!!!
This is an amazing video to watch. It's a blessing to watch Hope work through every little step with you. It's beautiful how she shows you what she already knows and where she needs work. It's very similar to a dance, once she understands the steps she moves and stands with confidence. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Ryan.
Your charm on these horses is so heartwarming to see....
Awesome Ryan! Very wise words! Thanks for sharing this moment with us.
My pleasure!
Great name, Ryan!! Hope is perfect for her!!
Hello how are you doing today 😊
Like a different horse at the end 🙌
I was crying when you named her 😢❤
You have a great talent. Thank you for sharing these videos.
Once again this was amazing to watch! Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was very uplifting and inspiring. What a beautiful girl who wants to please. I Hope she has a bright future.
This was basically like my horse! Shes now catchable ( by me), can be saddled and bridled, etc. Shes come a long way. Fearful horses basically need to be desensitised and given a lot of love ❤❤❤being fed everyday, having a routine and spending time with them everyday is a must
He really knows his job ❤
She's got such cool markings. And you're so compassionate with your horse and human training
Wish everyone that has a horse would be open to this style of training. Hope is a lucky girl !
This gentleman LOVES horses! They deserve to be trained by those who love and understand them
That was awesome! Really nice that she was so open and willing. Good girl Hope… love the name!
I absolutely love how gentle your way is! Thank you for the kindness you give them.
Good a to see a real horse man
AN AMAZING VIDEO RYAN ROSE,AMAZING
This is a good example of a mustang who likely had a lot of training done and then was turned out and/or left alone for an extended period of time. They can revert back to "wild" very quickly if not handled regularly, even after the initial gentling process. Great job to everyone involved in giving "Hope" another chance - she appears to have a great mind and now a great future! :)
I’m 60 and love horses, but as a kid at 5 I walked underneath one. I was told they were really scared what she done. Well she only stomped or kicked my knee, and I still have a scar. It never took my love away from them tho. I won’t lie, I was scared until five or so years ago when I decided to take an apple to the field to feed my cousins horse, who I love so much. His name is blue, but at 60 years old now I’ve never rode. He hasn’t been rode in 10 or more years, but every time I go visit, I bring him and his two girls an apple. He knows now when I get out the car. I do wish I could ride any horse tho, that’s ok with it. One of my favorite to meet is a freshen. Their an amazing spectacular horse. Thank you for letting me tell my little story, and keep teaching and loving because their amazing animals.
Best of luck Penny and Hope! That sure went well.
❤ she really tries and I love the fact I can send in videos and Ryan will help on his page
I thank the new owner for rescuing her! We need more ppl in the horse world like her!
Ryan, you have a true gift with horses of all kinds in all stages. Really enjoyed this video!!
What an interesting marking on her rear looks like butterfly think Hope will be keeper
Hello how are you doing today 😊
i have watched many trainers; you are amazing!
RYAN ROSE is the GOAT of horse communication, sure he learned from others, but he perfected his way. and I LEARNED from watching over 20 of his videos. I can't believe I went from touching a horse once in my life in 40 years, to owning 3, " had the land & were rescues" life works in weird ways, & worried as can be, on what am I going to do.
Finding Ryan's videos and Studying day and night amd learning from him.
and Well, the horses are doing well, and my wife loves that she can touch them now. and still working to be able to ride them soon, I hope.
THANK YOU RYAN ROSE 🌹
Always love watching these videos, i feel like i really learn valuable info in how to handle horses sympathetically.the mare seems like she has turned a corner and i wish her new owners all the best in having a smart, sensitive horse
I adore the way of training here and learned a lot, altough it's basic, it's the energy of the teacher and the way he does things. Thank you so much for shearing❤
She moves beautifully
I have tears in my eyes watching this horseman calm this horse and take control
What a beauty she will be, with some good dinners and lots of loving. Great video!
I love her markings. She seems to have a willing nature.
I think so too!
Wow, congratulations to the woman who did so very well! You sir are a miracle worker!
Another fantastic session!! And little ideas to use on a domestic horse!! Every little thing can help and further the process/relationship!!❤😊
I love how you are with horses.
The horse moves really nicely !!
She jumps beautifully too! My friend owned her before this person! She was so sweet, but was too scared to come up to people.
This was such an instructive session with "Hope." Thanks for sharing with us.
Yes, he is a real horse whisperer!
You are terrific and worth your weight in gold. I love watching you work with horses. So incredibly rewarding!!
You’re brave! Riding a baby in that much wind can be very scary. She’s such a good girl.
It is amazing how easy it seemed to be as he went step by step in showing the horse what he wanted her to do just by being gentle and soft commands, i can tell hes a man that loves horses and loves his job working with them, i would love to do the same.
Hi Ryan! That was a great training video. I was wondering if you would ever considermaking a video about different careers working with horses and how to enter those fields. Thank you cant wait for the next video!
Great suggestion!
