@@GroomHouse I highly suspect the dog to be a Hungarian Puli, a mopdog, it's a very common breed here. You did the right thing to shave it's fur, because it was a really bad shape even for a Puli. Just be aware that this breed's fur cords naturally, and grows much faster than normal. Their dreadlocks are very high maintenance to keep them clean and nice. Otherwise a very healthy breed. I just wanted you to know that for them the dreads are a wanted things, and not the sign of neglect. But this dog's dreads were beyond saving so you did a good job shaving it.
Saving a dog can't change the world, but it changed its life. It can't speak, but it's still grateful to the kind person who saved it. Love it unconditionally. 😢😢❤❤❤❤

If you come from nothing * you should * appreciate everything.... but that isn’t always the case and for a certainty not every neglected dog would be as calm as this one sometimes the long periods of neglecting can turn them aggressive and unwelcoming to strangers this dog is calm naturally

The state of this poor dog breaks my heart. Thank you for cleaning him up. He's so calm and seems grateful to you, who knows the last time anyone cares for him. He looks older and tired when you return him to the area you found him. I feel sad but hope that the lady who adopts him will give him the love he much deserves and a warm, clean corner to lie down.

@@darlenelahaise2696 The neighbor of the original owner decided she would adopt him. These people cleaned him up. The dog seems old and never once wagged his tail but he wasn't skinny.
That is probably the best he has felt in a very long time. He knew you were helping so didn't even growl or bite. I hope his next owners can give him the love and care he deserves!!

As I see, it is an original HUNGARIAN Sheepdog, named PULI. Very special and very kind dog, especially to stay outside and keep the sheeps safe.---these used to have such hair, at least you coud see at his head, before shaving - he can better see, if the eyes are behind the hair and is should never be shaved. We made jokes of our PULI at that time,when we were children, because it is not easy to see where is the front side and where is the backside!!!unless he jumps up on you!!! In the front there are just hair and a red tongue. TAKE A LOOK ON THE INTERNETSIDE UNDER HUNGAIAN PULI - you will understand. But the point is, this is not a dog for having it just at home like a pet for playing with. Even these very thick hair - which never should even be brushed, (like other dogs used to be), these thick hair are made fo r that reason that if it is looking for the sheep outside, even a wolf can not bite him, because oft his very thick hair. TakeI only hope, he get a good place and then when the hair will grow agan, the people will know how to threat him!!! Never shave the head and never free his eyes!!!- I guess, someone bought him,as a young little dog, having no idea, how to threat it, so finally they let him alone. What a shame! Such a dog, must be all the time outside, and even under these circumstances it must be kept proper and treated withcare, using also that kinf of fluid against fleas and such.
Sitting in the tub first, he's thinking "This is a good day!" At least, he's never been abused (except for neglected fur) or he'd have winced away from you, or worse.
Or, did they have the dog already, then allow the hair to grow out of control and then cut it just to make the video?. After all clicks earn cash, that would also justify the dog being so calm because it was used to be around the person. These videos earn creators a LOT of cash and they need content. He is being so sweet and so trusting. They can't tell us in words, but I am sure that he really appreciates the help he's receiving. The technician who bathed and groom him needs to be commended for showing such care and patience. It was so cute the way he lifted his paw as if to say thank you.

I had a dog like that. Just as calm and cooperative as could be. Gentlest soul I ever met in my entire life. Groomers and vets were crazy for him because he was so easy and sweet. This old boy here seems same. What a doll. So very happy he got the care he needed and deserved.
Probably it was so calm having been groomed regularly in its early life and was out as a stray so long its hair grew and matted and was that horrific mess.

You can see by his eyes, he's elderly. I'm so happy that he's cared for and loved! ❤ He didn't even wag his tail in the end, you can tell he's sick. I hope he got vet treatment! Those ticks sucked the life out of him; and he's limping. He also needs a dental cleaning, before his gums get infected, & he loses his teeth. Thank you all for helping him!

I worked as a groomer for 20+ yrs. I've transformed dogs like that. He was so calm. Loving every bit of the attention. U can tell he's been groomed b4. He knew what was goin on. Good job 👍🏾🔥❤😊

The fact that he was so calm during the grooming shows that he was cared for at one time. He was used to what was being done. I hope someone kept him and didn't just turn him loose.

This brought tears to my eyes. The thought of a poor animal being treated this way, and for his newly adopted Dad made me tear up. Thank you for giving this wonderful boy another chance at the life he deserves. The way he just relaxed and let himself be groomed showed how much he appreciated being taken care of. This is heartbreaking to see an animal so neglected. No animal should ever have to be in such a distressing situation such as this. Thank you for having him groomed. I bet he feels 100% better. If you notice, during this grooming session the dog is very calm. He is accepting this procedure. He must instinctively know it’s for his benefit.

My dog trusted me like this too (he let me scrape his teeth with a dental scaler, normally they sedate them for that), but he had known me all his life. This dog just met the groomer. Amazing. Maybe he had given up and figured any change was an improvement.
That's not a normal reaction. Happy dogs are usually wagging their tail. He is clearly so depressed that he is ready to die and ceases to care about the shaving of his fur.
you can see the sadness in his eyes, and you can know by how calm he is that he has no one looking after him. His eyes tell the story of a really sad dog.
The manner in which how the dog behaves so calm and gentle while being shaved and trimmed is remarkably impressive. It just felt the need to be cleaned & bathed that it has become submissively willing to everything that'd be done to him as it knew he's being taken cared of & pampered in good hands now. So satisfying & comforting to find people do easily love and care for stray dogs out there.

My mom is a grooming teacher and this is the calmest dog i've ever seen. I can't imagine how relieved and thankful he felt during this process. Thank you for showing everyone the best part of grooming.

What a patient dog, he was ready and glad to get all that heavy hair off of him, not to mention the fleas and ticks. He must be feeling so much better now. He dealt with that grooming as if he's done it 1,000 times before. Those fleas were huge!

@@GroomHouse I highly suspect the dog to be a Hungarian Puli, a mopdog, it's a very common breed here. You did the right thing to shave it's fur, because it was a really bad shape even for a Puli. Just be aware that this breed's fur cords naturally, and grows much faster than normal. Their dreadlocks are very high maintenance to keep them clean and nice. Otherwise a very healthy breed. I just wanted you to know that for them the dreads are a wanted things, and not the sign of neglect. But this dog's dreads were beyond saving so you did a good job shaving it.

The state of this poor dog breaks my heart. Thank you for cleaning him up. He's so calm and seems grateful to you, who knows the last time anyone cares for him. He looks older and tired when you return him to the area you found him. I feel sad but hope that the lady who adopts him will give him the love he much deserves and a warm, clean corner to lie down.

As I see, it is an original HUNGARIAN Sheepdog, named PULI. Very special and very kind dog, especially to stay outside and keep the sheeps safe.---these used to have such hair, at least you coud see at his head, before shaving - he can better see, if the eyes are behind the hair and is should never be shaved.
We made jokes of our PULI at that time,when we were children, because it is not easy to see where is the front side and where is the backside!!!unless he jumps up on you!!! In the front there are just hair and a red tongue. TAKE A LOOK ON THE INTERNETSIDE UNDER HUNGAIAN PULI - you will understand.
But the point is, this is not a dog for having it just at home like a pet for playing with. Even these very thick hair - which never should even be brushed, (like other dogs used to be), these thick hair are made fo r that reason that if it is looking for the sheep outside, even a wolf can not bite him, because oft his very thick hair.
TakeI only hope, he get a good place and then when the hair will grow agan, the people will know how to threat him!!! Never shave the head and never free his eyes!!!- I guess, someone bought him,as a young little dog, having no idea, how to threat it, so finally they let him alone. What a shame! Such a dog, must be all the time outside, and even under these circumstances it must be kept proper and treated withcare, using also that kinf of fluid against fleas and such.

Shoot, even just the weight of all those matted dreadlocks pulling at the skin could make it easy to nick him with the clippers. Makes the process more difficult and requires extra care to be taken.

I had a dog like that. Just as calm and cooperative as could be. Gentlest soul I ever met in my entire life. Groomers and vets were crazy for him because he was so easy and sweet. This old boy here seems same. What a doll. So very happy he got the care he needed and deserved.

@Fermi Surface I would say wise. That puppers 100% understood what was going on. As in he has experienced groomers probably quite a lot in his past.
Probably it was so calm having been groomed regularly in its early life and was out as a stray so long its hair grew and matted and was that horrific mess.

I'm surprised his eyes were in decent condition from being so covered with hair. You can see him looking around as he hasn't seen cleary for quite a while by the condition of his coat. Poor baby, thankfully it all turned out for him after all the neglect. God Bless You for your kindness❣️

This brought tears to my eyes. The thought of a poor animal being treated this way, and for his newly adopted Dad made me tear up. Thank you for giving this wonderful boy another chance at the life he deserves. The way he just relaxed and let himself be groomed showed how much he appreciated being taken care of. He was such a good boy! I’m overwhelmed with emotions, but thank you a thousand times for giving this guy a loving home and another chance at life. Bravo!!

To who ever took this poor dog to get groomed, you are one of a kind. Under all of that mess was a beautiful, sweet dog that wanted nothing but love. Thank You for your outstanding kindness. Also, to the lady grooming this poor dog, you did such a wonderful job. Very gentle and caring for someone that could not defend for them self. You are a true saint and wonderful at your job. This is heartbreaking to see an animal so neglected. No animal should ever have to be in such a distressing situation such as this. Thank you for having him groomed. I bet he feels 100% better. If you notice, during this grooming session the dog is very calm. He is accepting this procedure. He must instinctively know it’s for his benefit.
Yes but that is unnaturally calm. Even happy dogs will wag their tails or pant slightly. He is clearly emotionally dead inside and no longer cares about his fate, which is quite the correct reaction

My dog trusted me like this too (he let me scrape his teeth with a dental scaler, normally they sedate them for that), but he had known me all his life. This dog just met the groomer. Amazing. Maybe he had given up and figured any change was an improvement.
Maybe he was drugged with some calming medication. So he stays quiet and dizzy for 2-3 hours
That's not a normal reaction. Happy dogs are usually wagging their tail. He is clearly so depressed that he is ready to die and ceases to care about the shaving of his fur.

What a patient dog, he was ready and glad to get all that heavy hair off of him, not to mention the fleas and ticks. He must be feeling so much better now. He dealt with that grooming as if he's done it 1,000 times before. Those fleas were huge!
