I think what you're doing is beautiful! You gave this dog relief from the parasites, the pain from the pulling mats and just an overall lift to his whole being! The money, the time and effort you donated to this family and their pet may be the help they wished for. Sometimes people change when they don't feel so completely helpless. You both are angels really! Bless you and your kind hearts.

Yeah people don’t realize how much pain the mats can cause. It can bruise them and can cut off circulation. I’ve seen dogs lose their limbs cause of mats!!
I also think this dog is loved by his owners, cause he is not skinny. We adopted a dog, that has long fur. He also had some matted parts and I had to cut them. And some I brushed out slowly over days. And I felt it hurted him. When you do not have the money for expensive brushes and anti frizz spray etc., then there will come a point on that your dogs fur gets matted more and more. And then some people just let it happen, cause they do not know how to change it.
But maybe this dogs owners in the video will use the money to buy a brush and a comb. At least this is all they need to prevent this matted fur again. ❤️
I feel sorry for the kuri dog people don't deserve pet's if they can't look after them properly that's my opinion the kuri suffers he would be better off in a shelter then living with tic's and flees

The dog wasn't hungry, his overall health was fine, he wasn't chained, scared or aggresive etc. His friendly attitude says something about his owners, I think. I believe all his owners need is a little encouragement and education. Probably they didn't realise they could do better. Let's hope they will know better now :) You helped not only the dog but also his family! That's great that you tried to find the most productive solution without stigmatising the people. ❤️👏🏻

I had a black Puli adopted at 1 year. Her name was Woofles. I took her with me from the USA to live in Italy with me for about 2 years. Woofles was one of the best dogs I ever had. Smart, gentle and protective. This little male Puli was so grateful for what you did for him. He soaked up all of the affection you offered him. It broke my heart to see him cowering a bit with his owners. I hope they take good care of him. Thank you for your sensitive, unselfish giving to needy dogs. 💓🐶💓

If you can pay owners $100 to groom, maybe you can get something to help the dogs when they return to these ignorant insensitive pseudo-humans... Perhaps you can get de-worm medicine and one monthly tick and flea medicine treatment. Offer these medicines to the owners at cost and include a dog brush... For ongoing care. And tell them Jesus loved animals...❤❤

The Hungarian Puli does have dreadlocks, but they are groomed and well tended. This is beyond their normal coat. Glad you got ahold of the pup.

You are both so kind and very generous to do this for these sweet pup pups! I wish there just was a way to “ re home” them. These owners do not deserve to have dogs. He was such a good boy the whole time and I believe a dog knows when great people are helping them. You did an amazing job!!
It’s not just these owners. I’m also from Serbia and most people treat their dog this way. They are not treated as family members. It’s very slowly changing, but for most the dogs are kept outside for barking/ house protection or work dog.

even if it were in the states as long as the dog has proper housing, adequate food and water, there nothing, not even peta can do. how do i know this? i tried to rescue a dog myself. the dog commited suicide few weeks before i was going to steal him. i called loval animal shelters i called PETA yeah nothing they can do unless theyre starving, have no water no food and no shelter. f**kng sad really

Thanks for being so kind to these dogs. May best might be a good idea if you can get together a veterinarian clinic to set up a program how to care for their Pets. At the same time you might also invite or get other professional groomers to donate a day or time to groom their pets for free on certain day or days in a month. God bless you. I am sad for the dog, i can feel his sadness and going home to his owner that never treated him well. I hope they will realize that owning a dog is a responsibility. He is a very good dog , hang in there little one. ❤
I don’t understand why someone would pay all that money for a dog and then not bother looking after it. I get that someone may not be able to afford the grooming, vet fees, etc., but just get the dog rehomed to someone who will love and care for it.
The owner doesn't pay but they pay him for next to take care of it

He is gorgeous both in looks after his fantastic care and his personality. He is quite subservient but I think he really enjoyed the contact with 2 people who showed him tender loving care. At the end you can see he doesn't interact with his owners the same way he did with both of you. Personally I would be asking them to sign him over to you before the groom. By all means give them money but I can't see it going on desperately needed flea treatment for the areas he frequents or for keeping him flea and parasite free by using drops, can't see him being groomed bathed etc.... But for the moment you have made a little dog feel great, not itchy, clean and happy.... Which is brilliant. Thank you
I agree. They are wonderful for having such dedication to helping dogs. I just hope the owners don't see it as a way of making money from their dogs. At least he was clean and free of ticks and fleas for a while
