Lully Lulla Lullay arranged for 4 Cellos
This is one of the most beautiful carols I've ever heard. Originally for choir, I wanted to see how it sounded on cello and it sounded better than I was expecting. This is Philip Stopfords music and its beauty is worth celebrating and enjoying. That is my only intention by sharing this with RUclips, that you get a chance to hear this amazing hauntingly beautiful Christmas carol. Enjoy. Merry Christmas to all!!

Cello Arrangement of Morten Lauridsen's "O Magnum Mysterium"
Просмотров 2 тыс.4 года назад
I remember vividly the first time I heard this piece. I was at a choir concert in Elora, Ontario and from the moment the piece first started, I knew that someday I had to play this on the cello, as it has to be one of the most beautiful things ever written. O Magnum Mysterium - by Morten Lauridsen #SongsofComfort

Horses Love Bach

I played for my cousins wedding and as I was trying out the rented cello before the ceremony, I suddenly had the urge to play some Bach for the horses at the wedding location to see how they would react...I wasn't disappointed!!

Martinu Variations on a Theme by Rossini
Просмотров 5709 лет назад
Performed live at Grusin Auditorium this piece, written for Piatigorsky, shares a strong connection to Paganini's "Moses Fantasy" variations based on the same theme. However this is the only similarity these two pieces share as the character and rhythmic figures in the Martinu makes one quickly forget the association between to the two works. We hope you enjoy! J.S. Bach Cello Suite No.6 - Prelude

Performed at Life/Art Dance Ensemble's show entitled "Contradiction" on November 22, 2013. The hall is very vibrant, but is one of the strangest stages to perform on. This is my first performance of this mighty prelude and I hope to perform it again and again! Enjoy!

The more science learns about animals, the more science accepts that we should be looking for us in them, or maybe them in us... Traditionally scientists have been cautioned against anthropomorphizing but much of the recent research on this topic shows us that it's probably more beneficial for us to actually look for traits we though exclusive to humans in other animals as well. So we can learn more about them and ourselves by looking for ourselves in them and them in ourselves. #Science

Interesting reaction from the horses. {That owner of the property better upgrade the corral wood. That looks like fallen down leftover partial former logs. Horses love to "crib" (chew) on wood rails and posts. There are a couple (a few?) Dairy barns that have put audio speakers in the milking barns and they play classical music on low volume, and the cows luuuuve it. They produce more milk and are calm. If people liked the playing of the music, then you should put your cursor in his name [ Adam Riggs] and click and see/hear him and another cellist playing some Vivaldi at a concert. Good stuff! 🎼🎵🎶

Very good music! (I came over to this "page" / "link" after watching the Horse video (Bach). I'm not a musician, so pardon my ignorance ----> Is one viola a different size than the other viola? Did Vivaldi write two different parts of the tune for "cello #1" and a slightly different part for Cello#2? Seems that sometimes one is silent or that sometimes they are both playing,,,, but,,,,, playing different notes/sections.
