I love this chapter. IMO it also nullifies the “crossless gospel” and is a great place to show people the proper content of belief in Jesus for eternal life: who He is and what He did for us. Great word, man!

Please don't overlook verse 2 below where it says that ye are saved “if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you.” …There is a condition being placed there..to keep in memory what was preached to them. What happens if they don’t keep this truth of the gospel memory? To keep in memory not only means to have it in memory one time, but it means to keep it there......to retain it and not to deny it or reject it later.
1 Corinthians 15: 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
I believe this relates to Hebrews 3:12-14, which says… 12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we are made partakers of Christ, IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
.................Please notice the condition given in verse 14…..IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end….
I have heard it been explained that saved is referring to sanctification - salvation form sin temporally. What do you think Ono?
What about 2 Corinthians 6:1?
"Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain."
Is this a reference to how the Corinthians did not believe in the resurrection as well as described early on in 1 Corinthians?
