I have Chevelle SS with 454 and Just bought a 2015 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack with the 392. Challenger pretty fast with 485 hp from factory. thinking of putting Borla exhaust on Challenger.

Is there a big sound difference between the cat back and the axle back atak? Wondering because of the price diff
The stock setup has an astoundingly large and heavy resonator. Going with the catback system would be louder because you eliminate it.

The ATAK is a bit more aggressive than the S-Type. One isn't going to be better than the other, it will just depend on which sound level you prefer between the two.

The American v,6 sound sucks compared to German,Japan v,6,s no matter what the exhaust Dnt know y but Ford dodge and gm need to step it up
see ive heard this argument. but honestly, ours sounds just as good as any other v6.
i invite you to do the same research, research naturally aspirated v6 and you'll get a list of a few cars, audi, nissan, bmw etc... then go listen to exhaust clips of those exhausts. listening to them back to back, honestly they all sound pretty close to this motor.
There really isn't much difference at all between all V6's on the market. Not that Germans are many many V6s and most the Japanese ones are almost classifiable as mute, outside of dropping $2500 on exhaust parts.
An upgraded exhaust system on a Cyclone powered Mustang sounds almost identical to a GTR. Considering I hear a GTR almost every weekend on the race track, you can take my word for it. You're welcome.
