    Purchased a 2008 Peter Blake. Full UK set, hardly worn, unpolished. Was happy to pay £2.75k. It’s now with Omega being serviced. If it ends up costing me north of £3.5k, it will still have been money well spent. Truly a lovely piece.

    Purchased one in 2006 . Still brand new never worn . Stunning watch

    Thanks for highlighting this beautiful watch. I bought one new in 2003, worn it pretty carefully since, had it serviced in 2015 and still loving it. I had no idea it would become a classic but it sure deserves it!

    I’m drooling over the 2255.80 the one with the electric blue dial at the moment. The Omegas of this era beat any Submariner of the same era…

    defo the BEST Seamaster "modern" diver Omega made. Far better than the skeleton hands/bond versions...... this is the model Bond should have worn!!!

    100% agree. Get a good one with a decent case, and not heavily polished, preferably with at least papers, then get it serviced. Mine is at Omega now being serviced and will have cost me 3500 quid all-up. There will never be a better Seamaster in terms of size, lume, and comfort

      OG papers aren't really a deal breaker if non-limited piece and price is right. Service card + 2 year warranty should suffice.

    • @TheRandomWatchDude
      @TheRandomWatchDude 6 месяцев назад +1

      @navboi12 more than anything i think that depends on your personal preference. We are talking about a watch here that you want to keep, not an investment so it's up to you if a full Set is a deal breaker or not

    Check out the ID Guy review of this watch. Gives excellent insight into the history and heritage and my wife and I both have one on 41 and 36mm and they are just fantastic and if had to go to a one watch collection this would be my keep. Still very underrated and unknown and I actually like that and long may it continue so!

    One of many problems from Omega is they’re to bloody big! The Peter Blake in 41mm is very nice indeed.
    The Casino Royal in Platinum in a 39mm or a 40mm(41 tops) would be my absolute dream Omega.
    Omega has been smoking meth and snorting coke for a very long time brother!🤣🤣🤣

      Bit steep but it has been serviced, so that's a plus. Double check level/quality of polishing if conducted.

    Great feedback and review. Glad to hear you shedding more positivity on this model and Omega as a brand. This particular watch illustrates the problem that Omega currently faces. Here you have a quality product with minimal room for improvement however because the brand name doesn't start with (insert crown logo) everyone wants it for cheap. I'm glad there are folks like yourself who can appreciate quality and are willing to spend a bit more to get it in great shape. Cheers 🍻

    This SMP still carries the old Omega DNA it seems. Current SMP models for me are cringe with their flashy looks and skeleton hands. It's like so desperate to impress me. While this one carries some of the classic SMP design cues and it has the ETA 2892-A2. Hope it returns in some form but looking at current Omega, I highly doubt it. On this year's Basel World we will probably get another Speedy limited edition and some other flashy color for the SMP or something like that. Fuck Swatch.
