Mine doesn’t smell bad - it’s a very minor copper smell like a coin if you really sniff it. I think yours smells because your skin is disgusting and your sweat goes into the watch you do look like you stink to be fair.

I've literally just bought this last night 2024 unworn £12700. I was speaking to my son 9 years old (we both love snoopy) but i love the history behind the apollo 13 etc I'm absolutely passing this down to my son when I'm not here anymore. Love the watch.

Brenny you're a legend & I agree with a lot but 2 things I don't agree with. I've never seen a video from Jorge but you unnecessarily attacked his look then said that you weren't attacking him personally. You're so wrong about Cartier. As someone that has a huge collection of desirable Rolex, Patek, independent & many other high end brands, I started purchasing Cartier years before any hype, flippers & the waitlists we've grown to love & I couldn't be happier. I could give you many reasons but I get great pleasure, just as much or sometimes even more than the high end watches or those Rolex you would love to own at retail. There's more to life than Rolex & Patek. I've turned down desirable Rolex and Patek models to give other people a chance & also because I'd rather earn interest on my money & save till the next Cartier comes along. Check out the medium Santos for example. 100m WR, easy bracelet switch & resizing, extra strap, COSC spec & regulated by hand, in-house movement, Very high magnetic resistance, timeless design & it looks & feels amazing. If you buy smart you don't lose too much if you need the money.

TAG’s are the worst, eBay is full of them, under £1500, fully sets fully stickered, AAA quality and eBay not checking them. I nearly bought one for my lad.

I wonder how rigorous the authentication service is?

I have been thinking to put mine on a Marathon rubber strap. That is the best rubber strap in my opinion. Even better than the Oyster flex.

ebay has an authentication service for luxury watches, so if you buy a fake watch it will not pass the authentication process and the watch will be sent back to the seller and you will get your money back.
