- This video explains in detail Luis Sera's role in Resident Evil 4. Where we discuss his life prior to his acquaintance with Leon Kennedy. As we explain his early life, how he came to join the Los Illuminados as a researcher, what experiments he conducted, and what many discoveries he's made that he documented.
We also cover his storyline that crosses path with Ada Wong and how he tried to escape from the Los Illuminados with a sample of a dominant Las Plagas Sample. This would have Osmund Saddler ordering his followers to try to capture Luis Sera. One of the prominent figures on this hunt was the Village Chief Bitores Mendez and his many Ganados.
We also in detail what many files he had left within RE4 and how these documents would play the large majority of his storyline within this game. And lastly we cover his new version seen in Resident Evil 4 Remake and how that compares to his original design.

I could see him trying to find a different method of destroying the plagas instead of conventional means
He definitely should be a playable character not just for mercenaries but either a DLC or small a section in the remake

I think this would have made a very interesting side story as it would change the final outcome of the game and Luis's fate aswell. What would've happened though? I'm thinkin the other two Ashley &Leon either would've been extracted at some point or have accompanied Luis till the very end much like he did Leon and Ashley. I think the Krauser Leon altercation would have took place regardless. There was no avoiding that. he had to face him eventually and learn of Ashley's abduction either way but for Luis, would've been a much tougher fight with the villagers as Leon later on received help from Luis whereas Luis was in Valdelobos long before Leon's arrival.
If he doesn’t end up getting a larger role, PLEASE atleast make the man playable In the mercenaries mode.

Yes we do, I would love to see maybe a flashback of his time while working for Los Illuminados and have an internal monologue of what he truly thought about Osmund Saddler and the cult

Be real Luis death in Re4 still one of painful treat especially for one of positive attitude in dark time, heck I can say he par with Barry but got fate as Steve....cheerful guy not lasting long in Re world for some reason. Even Mike from Re4 has memorials death.

@@HeYDeVuH you ever really nice soft voice you should do audiobooks. I've never played the games so I've gotten most of my information from your videos as far as in-depth knowledge along with a newer Channel I found Centre for evil but what made me really want to look in depth into the Resident Evil storyline was me watching Resident Evil 5 explained by storymode aka internet historian and then I watched him explain the other games and I found more serious channels like yours to get more in-depth understanding and I will have to play them eventually in the future.
I probably will not be good with the classic tank controls so I might be better off playing a more modern over the shoulder version. lol thank you again and have a good one!

I know that the Remake hinted that he may has villainous personality, but I believe that he will be written as someone Leon will always suspicious and distrust of through out the game until it was proven that he has good intention.
I still think Saddler is former Umbrella gone rouge and power mad. The timeline, tech and being an outsider matches up way too well. I hope we learn more about him and Luis in the future.

So if the rumours do end up being true with luis turning into a monster that you have to fight, it could be similar to what happened to Neil in revelations 2 (friend or former friend in neils case turning into a monster which you have to then kill) which would be interesting. 🤔
Yeah it would end up similar that way, though I do hope if he does turn into monster, it wasn't because he wanted power or anything like that. I could see it more like Steve Burnside from RE code veronica and how he was infected against his will

Interestingly Luis is seen alive fighting with Leon in the mines which if I remember well is past the part where he dies in the original. So I'm hoping this time he's not killed off but something tells me he is.
I like the original model better, I think they kind of dropped the ball with his design in the remake.
I have to disagree. The remakes kinda turned from the campy cartoony villains and characters and dialogue. Being a diehard fan and growing up on the originals, and now being an adult playing the remakes, I do enjoy the more mature and dread filled settings and character interactions. Unless you mean the physical character model, then disregard everything I just said lol

TBH Looking at luis in 05 and 23 side by side they look very similar just a little more realistic less anime eyes.
