    Hi! i have thought my Zino will stay on the ground forever, but thanks to your video i have managed to reconnect the loose cam connector and the WIFI is working again! Thank You for your help :)

    Hi Chris just flown my Zino 2 Wow amazing first time flying a drone and it went very well only issue I had was a USB cable disconnecting it happen Twice otherwise super happy with it

    I have a Zino that stopped connecting to wi-fi, I inspected the gimbal connection, all was good, but I stopped short of dissembling to check the wi-fi module connection(as I have limited manual dexterity). I was wondering if you would be able to repair as none of the drone hobby shops in my area work on Hubsan products. Please let me know.

    Hi Chris, I followed your instructions on replacing the video cable. Everything worked afterwards. A few flights later and now I can’t get the controller to connect to the Zino Pro. I’m thinking a bad connection, but I don’t have a red flashing light. As a matter of fact, I have no red light at all. Could it still be a bad connection?

      Definitely open it back up and check all your connections. Sounds like the Wifi repeater board maybe but it’s very hard to say without seeing it.

    Hello Chris , first of all thanks you for all your recordings about Hubsan QCs. I have zino 4k , i had a wifi problem and fixed with watching your video.
    My drone have enormous voice while flying. I want to try it , at home without wings. But I could not turn on the flight because of weak gps signal.
    On the menu , i do not see the gps accuracy test option. Is this a problem , or normal behavior?.
    I think all of your subscribers would be appreciated ,if you record a video for this.

      Get to know your app and understand it. It’s right in front of you....
      By default you need collective satellites to start the motors. In the app you can turn this off...
      Gps accuracy test has been removed by Hubsan.

    Thanks a lot for the video.31-01-2019 was the last flight of my Zino. I had it for 4 day's :(It flew away and crashed into a tree. Luckily some guy found it and returned my drone.I tried everything to fix it. I had a lot of mails with Husan. You can better ask advice from a 4 year old kid.I had no wifi. My question was is the wifi chip burned or is there something wrong during start up.It was possible to update all parts except the camera.After watching your video I opened the camera everything looked OK. But when I pressed the connector it did pop in a little. I plugged everything together with shaking hands IT WAS WORKING !!!!!!!!. This week I made the first flights after one year. Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks !!!!
    I bought an defect drone. And tried this main board the gimbal was shaking and further nothing. Maybe a different layout?? If there are people with a defect Zino. and you live near Alkmaar in the Netherlands. I have some spare parts. Maybe I can help you to repair your Zino.

    Love the name you gave your Zino 2 “Brick Floyd”. Haha. Great how-to-do video. Thanks for sharing. This will be of major help to many Zino owners (myself being one of them) I just bought a Zino Black Edition so I’m hoping that I don’t have to do any of this but its great to know that there is a video out there that shows you how to fix the issue. By the way, what’s the difference between the Zino Y and Zino in general?

    I just got an x demonstration one and its red light is on permanently wont bind to the controller or my working zino one controller any ideas it makes a strange noise on start up not the normal start up noise...?

    Hi Chris my name is Willie Murie and just used your wifi video for the zino for the 20th time but this time when i opened the top of the drone the clear plastic cover that sits on the metal plate the ribbon is broken. I was wondering if you know where i can get another one. i live in the north west of scotland if this helps. i really like this drone. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello. Since today all of a sudden, my ZINO2 does not transmit any FPV video. In the App I can see 0/4 signal strength regarding video and at the same time the wifi connection shows a signal 4/4. When I check the versions of the FW in the App I got all version info from all the subsystems, like gimbal, but no version info on the HUBSON IT. What could be the root cause here? I also have to mention, that the light, close to the SD card is permanent green. Thank you in advance!

      Have you tried a new ribbon cable? It may have failed like so many others and is not seeing what it needs to gather the firmware information or give you FPV. I would go there first or try recovery firmware and then let it update to the latest to see if that fixes any glitches you may have but if all was good and this just happened out of the blue and not from a bad update I thing the first suggestion is going to be your course.

      I had problems with last update via the App. Than I tried it with PC and it worked. Currently I don't see any problem with the update itself. This story is closed in my opinion.
      You're right with the broken cable, but where can I get a new one?
      I also have to mention, that the LED is on permanent green when I start the drone normal. It keeps green when I connect the drone to the PC and press the square button. I am not able to connect the drone with the PC software anymore. :(
      I contacted gearbest and send them also some pictures this morning.

    I’m having a problem with my Zino2. Not sure if it is a bad connection or what. My phone and remote connects to the drone and says “ready to fly.” The problem is that in the app, the screen is grey. I cannot take photos or videos. Thank you.

    Thank you so much for posting this video! Pretty sure my issue with my Zino Pro's fpv not working is that the board you mention in this video is burned out and needs replacing. I have a good connection with green light but no fpv. Can I send it back to Hubsan or who should I contact to work on it? I am getting the Gimbal angle sensor fail message now

      I don't send anything to Hubsan. Cost, time and more problems. I work on them and have fixed over 70 now. I would have to see video of what it is doing and what you have done with it.

      QC GUY sounds good...can I send you mine? I did a video on my channel as you said a few weeks back. Same problem but now it says gimbal angle sensor failure...i believe it is either the gimbal cable or the fpv card burnout from getting too hot.

    Hi Chris , I crash mine yesterday my fault ,talking to some kids that asking questions while flying and I fly a few feet low ending hitting some branches , My quad shows the blinking red LED ,yes no connection, but thus the camera cable will paralyze the gimbal too, Meaning who you turn it on no Gimbal movement ?

    It fixed mine. Dead WiFi connection. Wasted the first two hours with the top portion; nothin. Then worked on the camera end and BINGO. the connection behind the camera was off. I wish I would have checked that end first!

    Hello sir , hope all is well and your mom is better , i want to ask a question my zino is about a year old and batteries have been maintained in the same way i maintain the dji one but now i start with a 100 percent and in 5 minutes or so i get a message on the app that says batteries discharging too quick replace . have you seen that before ?     Sorry to have to ask but you seem to know a lot about the Zino, i can not get my Zino to connect to the computer via USB to update the firmware. Tried Hubsan multiple times but no response to my question. Have you heard this happen before?

      There can be different reasons. Try a different cable and make sure it is a data transfer cable and not a charging cable, try another computer (PC) and or usb port, install the usb drivers that come in the firmware update folder. I have never had one not connect for any other reason than what I mentioned above. If the quad is working and you can't get it to connect then the problem is from the cable on.

    Hi. I cannot still identify the red blinking light cause :_( I checked cam ribbon cable, everything is well connected. Does not seem to be broken. Is there any other cause for no WIFI connection? or is there any alert we can read to troubleshoot?
    At last, putting the aircraft together, I managed to break the gyroscope ribbon. I am buying a new cable now. But I guess it will still have the same issue, no wifi.

      Replace the camera image cable. Trust me you won’t see the damage till you remove it and sometimes you still can’t find it but replacing the cable fixes it.

    My hubsan zino pro doesn't connect to the computer so I can't update the software. I've changed the USB cable, used it on different USB ports, and tried it on multiple computers to no avail. Drone is still flying normally, some functions cannot be performed such as panorama shooting..., it requires updating. Please tell me how to help. Thank you, sir.

    Hi Chris. Do you have a video or do you have any ideas why when I turn on the controller I can only get 1 blue light to come on. Then when I connect my phone the blue light goes out and a USB has been disconnected warning sounds. Quad has a solid red light. Thanks on advance for any ideas.

    Hello I am having a connection problem, my controller and my iphone does connect, I refresh on the main interface and the hubsan appears I press to connect, but nothing happens. The light blinking is green and yellow any idea why I cant connect I was using it normally?

      Did you try pushing the button in the tiny pin hole to the right of the sd card for 3 seconds till the rear lights blink and then try to bind it?

    Hi. I would really appreciate any help you could give me as i have been scratching my head for days over this one.. wondered if you had come across a problem where the zino was not showing up in the wifi list for a huawei honor 10.. it shows up in an iphone and samsung and other phones but not my honor 10.. there is no problem with my wifi on that phone as it shows up every other wifi source in my area, other phones, devices etc and i have never had a problem with it in the 2 or so years ive had it. It just seems to be the zino it cannot or will not see. Any advice will be welcomed. Thanks.

    Hi Chris, I'm having these wifi-no connection issues for a while now and just bumped into your video. Tried a bunch of things but so far nothing works, the wifi module seems to be ok as well as the rest of the internal parts. During startup, the camera still checks for its maximum movements (sor tof calibration lets say) , so do you think this could still be a cable issue? Thanks for your kind reply, Take care, Chris

      Extra info: Hubsan pro, No FPV, message saying aircraft disconnected, rapid flashing blue lights together with solid red lights, latest driver package installed. tested with channel.conf, new phone cables but nothing worked so far. The binding procedure does'nt show the device either. I have contacted Hubsan but they are just saying I need to buy a new one even though it still had warranty. There is ufortunately no repair store where I live (Belgium)

      Is the light on the side by the sd card slot flashing or solid?

    I have a Hubsan X4 Air H501S. I cannot connect it to my phone...says no connection every time. Have done the usual turning both on/off. Is there a way to check the drones WiFi is actually working or a way to do a factory reset?

      If it isn't showing up in your wifi list on your phone then it's not transmitting due to a failed wifi module or firmware cocked it up if this is the result right after a update. No reset and nothing better to test the wifi output than a device like your phone scanning for and detecting the wifi signal.

    Good. Congratulations on your channel. I own a hubsan zino. The problem I have is that I cannot see the photo and video gallery from the app because the Hubsan Wi-Fi network does not appear on my mobile (xiaomi). On the other hand, on other mobile phones and on my computer that network does appear. Has or has anyone had the same problem?

    Maybe change the thermal pad to a thicker one to prevent the plug coming loose in the camera board?

      Mr. Viceroy As long as it’s folded like it was there is significant pressure on it so I think this is a great alternative to what we had in our other Zino models. One simple short cable with easy access was brilliant!!! 🧡

    Hi chris this zino was my first hubsan product and love having a drone that I can fly at home as I'm within 2 miles of a airport however I purchased it second hand and did the updates as you recommended were in your opinion the most stable fc 1.1.52, gimbal 3.6, and camera 3.0.22 I believe and had a few flights and not 1 issue I then proceeded to fly today and have the aircraft disconnected issue and flashing red light on the bird next to the micro usb input I then tried to downgrade the camera firmware as you mentioned in a earlier video but the red light just flashes and I dont believe the files are be uploaded through the sd card any ideas would be much appreciated

      The first and most common thing to check is the cam cable inside the quad. Being second hand it could have had someones hands in there already. Maybe even mine as I have worked on over 70 zino's for people. Check the cable and if you haven't already go join my group and post further issues there for better support. Thanks

      @@QCGUY yes sir I did just that I first opened the rear of the camera removed the pink thermal pad and gently disconnected the ribbon plug and reconnected it placed everything back together then moved on to the inside of the bird where the cam ribbon cable and gimbal ribbon cable are and did the same and still saying aircraft disconnected with flashing red light so I proceeded to downgrade the camera firmware to 3.4 as per your instructional video and doesn't seem to be installing as all I get is the flashing light for over 5 minutes

      Something just popped in my head correct me if I'm wrong but if the camera ribbon cable is bad that would hinder me on downgrading the camera firmware correct as it needs the ribbon cable to communicate back and forth from the camera board to the files located on the sd card

    I have the same issue with my Zino every time I went out flying. I have to restart and reset the Zino and Control to make it work (to get FPV video). I was successful almost one out of 5 times. It is weird. This issue is really holding me back to buy Zino 2.

      simon simon Zino 2 eliminated this poor cable design. I think this problem will be very rare on Zino 2. It doesn’t get much simpler then how they did it this time around. I’m very pleased with this design build.

      @@QCGUY I am still observing Zino 2 reviews. Time will tell. My problem with Zino is that the same problem as you said in this video: no FPV video. However, the things I observed from my Zino are different from your description. During no-FPV condition, the red-LED is solid (not blinking) and I can see Hubsan Zino at my wifi devices too, but no FPV on my phone. I really don't know now.

      @@simonsimon1989 Without connecting to the controller with the quad on do you see the Hubsan network in your devices wifi settings? If so you should see it in the wifi list under the controller tab in the app while everything is connected. Then bind the quad and you should have FPV. I have to see it to tell you exactly but just throwing these at you.

    Hello sir, I got a question, my drone fall down then when Turn on they away show gps error, how to fly without gps , Cz can't get gps ....is zino pro plus....thanks so much

      You gps module is either damaged or it came unplugged in the crash. If the drone landed upside down it’s probably cracked.

    When i bought my zino, can't connect to the controller. Can't go to bind mode when pressing the power button 3x. The red light is steady, not blinking. What seems to be the problem?

      Pressing the button 3 times is for the zino pro. If you have a red flashing light on the side it’s your image cable and it needs replaced. When it fails the connection is lost for wifi.

    I had a problem with the wifi connection. The transmitter did not connect with the Zino. After removing the SD card before startup, PROBLEM SOLVED.

      I can't tell you how many have said that and then sent them to me and I found they weren't or the pins were damaged on the plug ends or the plug has become loose from the cable. Thant's why I have so many cables in stock....
