Great video! I have an issue with calibration failure (0x0080), video works fine but the gimbal control doesn't work and video is jittery. Do you think it needs a new motor cable? Thanks!
Did a calibration by hand just to see what it could be - managed to get the ‘angle tilt is too much’ now so I’ve ordered the proper gimbal calibration tool and hoping to do the calibration once that’s here. Thanks again!!
@@QCGUYthanks for the answer, can I put a fan in the zino "Y"? I saw that the board (other than zino1) has an unused connector (I think), logically it would make a different upper chassis

The drone in this video, do you recall the model? I have a Pro +, I just took it apart and it looks different than the model you used in this video. Improved design and some additional components, but it's not hard to recognize the design also serves another purpose...makes it easier for Hubsan to determine whether a DIY had been attempted on the drone. Just FYI, no pun intended.

I tried several things: another usb cable, reinstall the apk...but nothing. The gimbal seems to have a little vibration and no video is displayed. The drone has not crashed never and it has always the gimbal protector. Maybe is one of those cables? Thanks and regards
Dear Chris! I have replaced te cable based on this excellent video but the problem is the same unfortunately. I have a solid red light at the side of the quad and no connection after refreshing, just timeout. Don't you have any other idea to solve the problem? Thank you! :)
A solid red light is no connection or leas transmitting a signal. The leas repeater under the main board in front of the fan could be fried or a connector issue there.
Hello! Hope you see this and can maybe lend some advice. I bought a Zino Pro Plus a bit back, but didn't fly it right away. When I did, I thought it was awesome. Took a break and then went to fly it again and while about 20 feet in front of me and about 15 feet up the motors just stopped and it dropped to the ground. I did hear something about usb connection right as it happened. Long story short, I found that the controller was bad (would charge but not turn on). I then bought a zino pro drone, controller, etc. hoping to use the controller and also get another drone out of it. What I found out was that the camera on the zino pro did not work. I also found out that the x-hubsan 2.0 app no longer worked and wanted to do an update but then threw out errors that it couldn't do anything. I am addressing one thing at a time. Any ideas about the 2.0 app? No matter where I get it from, it gives me the same error AND it also says that the app is not compatible with the device via usb. YET, no problem when using the x-hubsan app for the zino pro. As for the gimbal and camera - is there any way to test these to determine if the camera itself is bad or a ribbon or ???? Thanks!

Do you know if it's possible to disassemble the camera housing on the fimi x8 se 2020 in order to manually rotate the lens like you can do with the zino and zino Pro to fix a badly focused lens? @@jomngail original Zino (wifi) red flashing light can be a camera issue not the motor cable. If the camera image cable is bad then you won’t have wifi and you get a red flashing light. The cable can look perfectly fine but still be bad.

My camera image does not want to display on my screen. The drone flies but I can't get an image on my phone. It just shows black on my screen. I have replaced the cable but it still looks has the same problem. Black screen. It was working fine until the gymbal cover got stuck and when I removed it that's when I lost the image. I'm getting frustrated with it all ready. Can you please tell me what to do to fix my problem. Thank you. Love your videos very helpful

I do repairs everyday of the week and I do these in my sleep so absolutely. The part number is ZINO000-81 for the image cable and ZINO000-80 for the gimbal cable.

Try the gimbal tool computer calibration first. That is generally what 0080 means.
If that fails then yes do the cable. 👍🏻

Hi Chris, the ESC of zino "1" is the same as that of zino "Y" apart from the color of the cables, I want to change arm the zino 1 at zino Y

@@franp.3824 sure you could simply by putting it in the same location as it is on the pro and tapping into a safe 5V location.

This one is a pro. The pro plus isn’t much different just very slight change in hardware.

Yes its most likely the image cable. They are my most common repair when people send me their hubsans to fix.

Out of the Hubsan Zino models it would be the Zino pro. I work on others as well but most everyone comes to me with Zino’s.

Most likely the image cable yes. It can effect both the issues you have.
