We had the B210 when I was a kid but my brother and I had the last year of the 280Z from 1978. My dad had the !981 280ZX so we were a Z family for sure. I would love to have that car today...

Thanks Chris for the very informative videos on Zino repairs. I’m about to attempt replacing a damaged gimbal cable on my Zino Pro. I just ordered new cables and some spares and had it not been for this video I would have ordered the wrong ones! You saved me some aggravation and extra down time. Now, the one month wait begins. 😞

welcome back mate . hope your doing ok ... i just got my new gimbal n cam for my pro . cam works fine gimbal dont . ive given up on it now . its in the box n put away . wasted over 1000 bucks since i bought it ... cant afford it no more . n still waiting on gyro wire . so i give up . ill never buy a hubsan again .
If it's a new gimbal and still giving you a problem may I ask what it is doing exactly? When you put a new gimbal in these they will act crazy and require a gimbal calibration with the tool in order to work. I guess your too far away to send it to me to give me a crack at it?

Hey Chris! First I would like to thank you for your vids! In fact I got the Zeno pro based on all the info from your channel, I like it all and all, I own a mavic mini and have owned phantoms in the past, so not new to drones, just to hubsan, my question is the image in my phone (s10 plus and iPhone 8, isn’t very clear compared to the mini? Is this normal? My fpv is set to hd. Also is it correct that my top speed in sport is 22mph? Thanks a lot,
All sounds normal to me from Hubsan
The ribbon cabel are darn fragile but if it fail the drone gonna be dead, worst if it's in flight, although the cabel are for the camera, I experienced once just because the connection behind the back plate loose, luckily I watched Chris video, I reseat and it fly again. If only that cabel didn't effect flight we can bring back the drone by line of sight method
Can you do a video, on what components in the zino give its better range as apposed to cheaper drones.

I realize this is an old video but figured I would ask anyway. is $150 a good deal on a like new zino pro in 2024?
I have a question on the Zino Pro. You have probably answered this before and I haven't found it yet. Do you have to do a compass calibration every time it's flown? I always get the calibration screen even if just changing a battery for a second flight from the same place. The Zino doesn't seem to re-connect to the TX when powered on unless I turn the controller off/on and then I get the compass cal screen. Maybe there's a certain order to restart for a second flight. The instructions, even online, don't explain a lot. I only have one other camera drone and it's a Typhoon H, I only have to re-calibrate it when I change areas. I bought the Zino to have a smaller quad, much easier to take places on a motorcycle.
People like to say there is a order but honestly there isn’t. I have seen your problem before and corrected it simply by reflashing the FC firmware. Give that a try and then do your horizontal calibration. Thanks
Great video Chris! I crashed my zino pro and the gimbal now will not stabilize and the camera won't move. I did reset it via the button behind the clip but nothing changes. Getting the error 0X0800. Any idea what I need to do to fix that?

Hi Chris, I been going through all your videos and following the tutorials and I seem to be going backwards. Zino Pro flying perfectly with no faults. I noticed the camera was shaking a little bit and the autofocus was flickering in and out rapidly. So I decided to to a firmware update again including the new Gimble update. Took it for a flight test and notice the image shaking. So set down off/on and launched again, and got the error 0x2000 Gimble angle sensor abnormal. I pressed the cable connector behind the camera...no fix.
So I'm wondering is this a firmware issue or a hardware issue? I've done the updates carefully as per your vids. Could you point me in direction before I donate it to your wall. Cheers. ....hope you recovered just fine btw.
Can you post a video? I’m sure I can help you find the solution but shaky can mean a few different things.
Hi Chris, as being third guy you mentioned me, I was able to move my camera back outward. For me, after removing that plate, I tried very hard but could not move camera so I had to remove section in which you show image cable wrapped around (15:47 in your this video ruclips.net/video/EtgU_kcjyiU/видео.html&ab_channel=QCGUY ) by removing those 2 screws. And after that I was able to move camera by pulling it out and rotating it down.
Tested drone yesterday, it is working fine as nothing happened to it. I can move camera up and down via hubsan App and controller, video quality is also fine (therefore assuming no damage to image cable).
I was able to build up some courage after watching your videos many times. It helps hearing you explaining every single detail with your own experience.
From my experience of doing it, it was not hard as I was thinking before opening drone and was able to put everything together. I hope my comment helps others stuck in similar situation.

vicky dhudashia Glad you got it flipped back into position. You are the only one that admitted to a crash in your post I saw on Facebook but it amazes me that there’s no damage after words. Only you and others that have this happen will understand just how stuck it is in that position so it took a good hit to get it there I imagine.

One quick question. I did a reset on my gimball and now I get failed calibration every time I do it. What can I do to fix it? Buy the calibration tool and do software calibration or is there another way? Thanks! Love your content!
Dennrlay Everyone should own the calibration tool so yes there but it’s not as simple as just answering do this or that. I don’t know if you’re gimbal is totally limp and not working or partly working, what it was doing that you needed to reseat it etc...
That’s why I have a troubleshooting group 👍
@@QCGUY after I turn on the drone the gimball works just fine. Only after I try to do calibration and it fails it stops working.
Dennrlay Could be a number of things but all I can add is do a proper horizontal calibration and then try. Barometer and gimbal may be way off from each other in parameters.

Hello, the Giro line, it is different between the Zino 1, Zino Y, and the zino pro, could it be used interchangeably? Would it improve something to buy in a not recommended one, something?

I just got a zino pro plus and when I turn it on the gimbal does nothing. It stays like it was powered off. There is a new firmware should I upgrade it or is the gimbal bad? Should I send it back?
Send it back! They have been sending junk out because they aren’t testing anything. Broken gimbals and cameras are becoming too common here lately.

Ben Canfield Just search for extension for your type. I have 8 inch extensions for iOS and micro usb on android. I got mine on Amazon.

@@danielclynes3967 yes it should work but you will need the calibration tool and software. Careful on eBay...
@@QCGUY Thanks Chris, I've fitted a Zino Pro gimbal as per your brilliant tutorial. It has come up with a ' cannot initialize the Gimbal error ..0X00080. Is this because it needs full calibration? I'm waiting on the the calibration cover coming, is there anything I need to do in the meantime. I can't find any advice about the X00080 error
@@danielclynes3967 Yes error X00080 = Calibration with the calibration tool.
This error will come up when changing to a new gimbal or something like a heavy crash. Sometimes leaving the gimbal cover on during startup can invite it as well.

Hubsan got stupid with those. Velcro all over your quad and covering the vents. They have a video of how to hook them up on the official Hubsan RUclips channel.

I recently crashed my Zino-Pro flying backwards. Now I keep getting a calibration error, the aircraft does not follow some commands, and it will not turn off the propellers once landed unless I remove the battery. What do you recommend I do?

Not crash related but sounds like a stick calibration. Have you also done a horizontal calibration?
@@QCGUY Yes, I've done horizontal, horizontal and vertical calibrations. I suspected it had to be the crash because it was working fine before that.

im a noob but i was not happy with how hubsan response towards their customer after purchase. I barely flew zino 2 in the air for 10 minutes after purchasing. I got an issue with remote controller after the update. So now i decided to fix it myself I just disassemble it. The problem is the right stick (Mode 1)roll axis is pushing quad right when i turned on this quad. So can't take in the air hubsan customer care take years to give out solution.so what should i do to fix right roll to make it on a centre . Yeah calibration was long not working

@@QCGUY it said it needed an update earlier that day and all was ok , the next time i used it it immediately said it was abnormal, didnt know if it had to do with the update or something actually happened. Where is a good place to get parts quick, what do you recommend?

Hubsan has given instructions to install the Gimbal Patch firmware to correct this issue, no need to install the other firmware for the Zino, install this for the gimbal firmware.
