I buy whipping cream when its 50% off, and it often is, old cream makes butter more readily and leaving it out for 24 hours starts it to culture, which is good for the digestion. Takes a minute to blend with my stick blender, pour off buttermilk to use in recipes. Wash filtered water thru butter to remove residue buttermilk. Mold, salt first if desired.
@@kativore They were absolutely delicious, with only two problems. They didn't look as good as yours and I ate them all within 2 days (1 lb of butter).😋
I have made both but because I have lymphedema I choose unsalted over salted❤ they're both really great though❤ I add my salts to my meat if I need salt so I don't get leg cramps and stuff
I tried it today (with unsalted butter) - adding allulose and cocoa powder. The allulose becomes like a gooey chewy texture with the butter bit once I put in the mold to freeze. I didn’t taste the cocoa powder too much. I was just experimenting. The butter doesn’t have any flavor and melts easily while the allulose starts out with a slightly crunch then as it’s in my mouth the warmth causes it to be at its natural state which is chewy. It’s slightly sweet and slightly salty (because I added a bit of salt to give it some dimension.) As I let the chewy sweetness roll around my mouth eventually it all melts away leaving the end with all the salt. It’s kind of interesting; the whole experiment.

@@ketokarbs3671 The price of a pound of butter at my local grocery store is $8.99! I travel to Walmart to get the cheapest price $6.19. I just grabbed 5 lbs a couple weeks ago at Walmart because it was on sale for $4.49.
These are good! I typically prefer salted butter but for this, the salt seems to be accentuated after cooking and the fat bombs are a bit too salty. Going forward, I'll be buying unsalted butter for browned butter bombs and my usual salted butter for everything else! Thanks for sharing!
It’s totally reasonable to be skeptical! I think since being on this way of eating, I’ve naturally stopped craving sweet things. The browned butter doesn’t taste like candy, but it does provide a nice toffee flavor that comes across as sweet for me.
Hey, no shame! We’re all learning together. 😊 I myself have been shocked at the ingredients list on various products now that I’ve opened my eyes. Sending you good health! ❤️
I’m so confused. My brown butter tasted like butter…not toffee…am I making it wrong or are you guys exaggerating? Or just so fat adapted that it tastes different to you than it does to me? Help please lol I want the toffee taste
Hi Keisha, I hope I’m not misleading anyone into thinking they taste just like a piece of candy! I do believe the fat adaption plays a huge role since completely eliminating sugar while on this way of eating, however, it helped a lot getting me over the sugar cravings! Sending you best wishes 🥰
Hello Kat, I just recently discovered your videos, they are great, good recipes and you are very a special Lady. But..... big but... so far I have watched about 20 of them and they ALL have the same problem, kinda annoying... your sound is ALL OVER THE PLACE... I have to constantly play with the volume, some are "suddenly" so loud it made my dog bark!!! LOL poor thing she was sleeping next to me!... at other times we can barely hear you and I have to crank up the volume as much as it would go!!! Have a great day and continue the great videos! Kim
Could do without the loud music loop. So monotonous. Why not play some real music, softly, in the background. I would actually prefer NO MUSIC. Otherwise this desert looks fabulous. 🩵🩵🩵
My fav: Unsalted sprinkled with salt. ❤️
lovely video...trying this because the cravings are real
Best browned butter bites video. Thank you! I've subscribed. 😁
Thank you so much for your support! ❤️

❤❤I just made your recipe!Love it❤❤
I will definitely try this out to help curb my sweet cravings. Nice video.
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy them - It’s a habit for me now to add a fat bomb in my coffee for a rich taste! ☺️
I can’t believe how cute they are. At first I thought you added cinnamon. Love the mold idea. And it is ‘just' delicious butter. Thanks for sharing!❤️
Thank YOU for watching! ❤️
Some do add cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. 😋
@@nanaobx great idea, I loooove cinnamon!!!!
I mix a little salted with a larger portion of unsalted
I can’t wait try it! I’m a try it in some tea.
I added sweetener to mine they was delicious 😋 thank you might add cinnamon to also might add coffee to it
You’re totally within your right to modify the recipe, I’m glad you enjoyed making them! 😊

Iv been wondering if I could add some allulose or so e coco powder to kinda sweeten these.

$6 to $8 (depending on the store) for the same amount of butter here in BC. They must be feeding the cows gold dust.
Oh wow, that’s a big difference. I have been curious the price differences between the states and other countries. Thanks for sharing!

Are these okay to keep in pockets or in a backpack for weeks? I'm really looking for something just like this for my camping and traveling trips.

I am curious how it would be if to add a bit of heavy cream. I know some people try to avoid however as a treat it’s acceptable. Will try it ❤
Oh that’s an interesting idea! If you try this out, please let me know - I would hate to be missing out on something amazing!
@@kativore I did it. The taste is a bit more creamier and smooth. I didn’t pour a lot in just a bit to give it a bit of a different flavor 🙂
@@skatinka5788did you add the cream after the butter browned?
@@nanaobx yes, and stirred it well
"Natural Flavor" is basically another way of adding sugar. And it is mostly genetically modified ingredients...
Curve or curb?
I like 1 stick unsalted & 1 stick salted for this recipe🎉
What is "natural flavorings". Hmmm
I have seen people making so many weird carni “sweet” snacks and I just have a hard time believing this would cure my sweet tooth

Perhaps get it a but browner
Where is she getting butter for $2 a pound?
Grassfed is $8-$11 where i live
Curve your cravings?
Salted makes me ill. Way too salty/-ugh!
How will this help a sweet tooth it’s not sweet????
It’s fat, it makes you full very fast and it satisfies the taste buds at least in my experience. No sugar, no carbs for at least 6 months.
If you haven't had sugar for a good week or so butter will actually taste sweet
Just made a batch. It's not sweet at all...

Has eating too much fat ever given you heart palpitations?
