A belt fed 10mm would be the ultimate CQB SBR, esp with a Dead Air suppressor. Hogs, or multiple armed suspects...neither has a shred of a chance!

Thank you for the vids you put out there. I'm just starting out using firearms. I bought my first pistol, a Sig Sauer P250 recently, so the detail you use in your review is of great help to me. The way you explain the firearms and troubleshooting is a relief too, mostly due to other firearm enthusiast teaching as if it were to themselves. Forgetting that a good chunk of us have no previous knowledge of firearms or understanding of how a parts movement interacts with anothers. I found watching to your vids less stressful than others on the same topics. I have a lot of respect for you guys and others like you for putting in the time and effort it takes to acquire this knowledge and the skill it takes to teach it to the masses. That's really kick ass of you. I mean really, where else was I going to see some bad ass shit like this. Thx again will keep watching.

original Thompson .45 was going to be belt fed but they could not get it to run properly. great video. would be interesting to see some velocities of 9mm out of different barrel lengths.
If was standard NATO round, the recoil would be out of control given how light the gun.

I think I got it going now Andrew, it likes Winchester white box. It's a little beast it's nice ripping through 150 rounds. The weight of the gun and low recoil makes it so you can write your name with this gun!

I bought my fm9 about month ago love it. I have the 11in 16.5 barrel with stamped lower. I have ran all kinds of ammo and I haven't had any problem. I'm running vortex strike fire 2 on top.

If the chain links are magnetic might be worth picking up a cheap rolling magnetic floor sweeper to assist with collecting the links that don't hit the tarp can usually find them for under $50

just found your videos and love them, but I had what might be a silly question, but my experience is only in skeet shooting with a 20 gauge, a weapon like in the above video. from practical use stand point would a belt style system with 100 rounds be better then those drum magazines I've seen online at times? or would it be more an issue of preferences and logistics? I say this knowing I have no practical knowledge on the subject :D

First time I've seen a belt fed, AR15 pattern SMG!
Tarps to capture your belt links is great. But to pick them up, go to Home Depot and get the magnetic nail retriever. It saves bending down to pick up your links. Of course it doesn't work on brass.
They have different versions. It's basically a broom stick with a magnet at the bottom.

Are the links magnetic? If so, the ones that go off of a tarp might be caught with a magnet. But if you have deep pocket, don't worry about the ones that getaway. The state I reside would only allow semi auto, but having a belt gun would be sweet to say the least.
magnet on a stick could pick up the links easily, and some sort of brass catcher bag on the side to catch the links?

This product shows the technology thats out there.
In a situation where I would need an MP5, I would choose an MP5. Or an Ar plateform with regular magazines. Because it's take too much time to prepare the belts, and if there's one malfunction you are screwd. There is no place for malfunction in stressfull situation and the MP5 provide that and that's why it is so good.
