You know what would make this even better? If you got one of those super light movie prop gun bolts that would cycle with the blanks.
The way the Ar locks up, it wouldn't matter because its gas fed, no recoil fed.
+ontarioknivesNS7 but that would help since you could just release the bolt and cycle a round into the chamber. Instead of having to pull it back to cycle the round... But then again, you'd still have to load a can, so it works well regardless. If it aint broke don't fix it
10Greylock ontarioknivesNS7 zp1944 There isn't a Gas Tube(which is what cycles the BCG on a AR-15) on this Can Cannon. So there is no gases coming back to cycle the BCG.
All the gases are used for propelling objects.
GY6vids I know this, I have built ARs before, I know how they function and what is needed. I was trying to explain that since there is not gas tube present, the bolt cannot unlock unless you pull it back with the charging handle. The weight of the bolt being completely irrelevant since its not a blowback action.
zp1944 the bolt carrier needs gas to unlock it from the barrel extension. without gas, it will not unlock itself. weight is completely irrelevant since its not a recoil operated system.
Out of all the gun channels yours is always the most fun and really well thought out my respect goes to you i imagine you put alot into it all it does show keep up the good vids :)

+John Hughes I don't know for sure however I would say theirs no gas tube to drive back recoil spring sorta makes sense because you need all the gas vented forward I could be wrong
