Been using blender a,most 2 years and had no idea of scale cage...your videos are excellent I love how you get to the point quickly and explain as well as show the hot keys. Thanks for helping the world unlock the power of blender more.
I really wanted to do animation but my pc is of 4 gb and can't afford to buy some little bit of more RAM or a new pc But want to use blender in an effective way .... Please somebody help me and give me some solution 🙏🙏🙏
Damn, that's really helpful for when there's geometry you want the exact same in scale and/or relative position for objects that are just thing scaled up or down some more, not.
I bought your book a long while ago. Funny thing, I got to read a fair lot of it, some things I don't use that frequently and might even forget about. But then your ever useful videos comes up in my video recommendations and help me keep updated as well as learn even more, all of it while resting assure that new content will also be made available on the related book update! Amazing!! Love your work guys! Hope all is great for you all! 👊
Some good tips I was unaware of. I don't get much out of e-books unfortunately. A printed quick reference book would be something I would like to see though, with companion videos for more detailed explanations.
Hold the mouse button down on the scale tool icon on the left side. Anything with a little triangle in the lower right corner has a collection of tools hidden.
At about the 0:42 mark, once the extrude along face normal operation is in effect, can you not simply press S to get the desired result? This toggles between uneven and even scaling, yes?
Hi Jan! I want buy your book, but I don't know Eng well. So i need translate your book. But your book is too big so can't upload google translate site. Could you upload your book by use Notion? I think many people need translation.
I love and hate the scale cage at the same time, because it's a wasted potential of Blender. It's sooooo buggy! Whenever my camera is not at the proper angle, it picks the wrong scale handle and scales stuff in a wrong axis. What a freakin bummer!

1. You can use EEVEE render instead Cycle render. 2. You can setting EEVEE rendering sample under 32 or less 3. You can hide any object when working('h' key or '/' key or 'eye' icon) than viewport perfomance will increase.

Thanks!! It means a lot!
Scale cage is like lattice
Awesome as usual. 👍
When extruding and scaling I tend to get rid of useless duplicated vertices.
have to say, it's just a teeny bit gratifying to see one of these where i actually know almost all the tips for once
Things I wish I knew when I started using Blender! Thanks!
Press Alt + S then hold Alt to avoid the issue at 0:42
Great one! Also solidify behaves strangely in case of complex meshes.
I'm just learning the basics, and your tutorials are a god send. Kudos
*Thank you for your videos, they are always short and extremely informative!*
Thanks for this new video, I've been following them for months and I learnt a lot !
