Oh ok, so that is just the shorter way that I do it already with creating the lattice snapping it to the grid under the object, etc. just speeds that up, so that is useful.
Will this work on an already curved mesh, to match a bigger curve (radius) of another mesh? I have a problem with shape keys on a body mesh > it gets fat. But the belt mesh doesnt have the shape key (and the meshes need to stay separate objects). So I need to [make a fat belt shapkey] by curving the mesh, so that the new belt size matches the curved fat body. (Also even when I fix the fat belt manually/slowly - I have a problem of body shape key not syncing with belt shape key when I play as animation (0 to 1, at half way the belt shape key isnt moving fast enough and clips into the body). Anyone know the fix for that without using drivers? Because I need to export the fix to UE5.)
Hey there, for wrap around objects that should work with Rigify I would recommend my Flowify or Mesh Materializer add-ons. Those add-ons should be more effective at wrapping objects and updating when the underlying mesh changes. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any issues via info@configurate.net
Blender 4.1 is still in development at the time of writing, I'll aim to debug this though: send an email to info@configurate.net with the error message if you have one and we'll take a look...

Hey…want to go with this add-on for clothes and all but will it work good with rigify and deform better after rigging?
