Ok, thank you. The word on this seriously needs to get out to many people as possible. If Trump bans assault rifles ..... this is just out of control. He's cracking under the pressure from the school shooting victims that visited the white house. I get it, it's hard to look a child in the eyes and tell them "theirs not much we can do" but seriously, people will ALWAYS kill each other. He can ban things until he's blue in the face but it's not going to stop, or prevent anything....
And why do you keep closing the bolt to load a round from underneath? You're meant to drop a round in to the breach when it holds open and then press the button before you start loading the tube.
Yeah… u think that’s kinda dumb too. I believe some people think the way he is loading it is easier on the extractor… so maybe that is why. Idk. I do it the way you said.
Benelli inertia driven is the best shotgun system ever made, I can tell u that they just don’t break, I’ve used my as a boat paddle, shovel, limb breaker and I’ve beat it against a tree to break the ice off of the action
I LOVE my Vinci. It is absolutely one of the best waterfowl guns out there. I have not had any problems out of my example with shells rated for 3 dram or higher with at least 1-1/8 oz shot charge. Buckshot and slugs run superbly as well. It's unfortunate Eric's example hiccuped on the federal premium buckshot load. maybe the gun has not been "broken in" yet? but with high brass loads that should not matter. However, 9 pellet OO Buck at 1145FPS is only about a 2-3/4 MAYBE 3 dram equivalent, and with an inertia gun that has not been shot much, it doesn't entirely surprise me it suffered a failure to fully cycle. This will happen every so many rounds with low velocity 1oz loads in my Vinci, and what it is is the action not having enough energy to send the bolt far enough back to engage the cartridge lift lever. Great video!
Eric, After doing some research myself on my vepr 12 and my super vinci I have found that most people say that 1200fps is ideal for most semi auto shotguns. I have tried many different loads and have found that to be true. I cannot get 1145fps ammo to reliably run through either gun. thanks for the video!
What exactly did you think was going to happen when you decided to shoot a group of milk jugs with a 1 and 1/8 oz slug at 10 yards. I needed a good laugh and thank you for that.
I always thought it was funny how much force the Benelli's took to put together - I remember some of the SBE and SBE II's that we'd actually bounce off of a rubber pad to get into place - would never dream of doing that in front of a customer!
One thing I have been told about the Benelli inertia system is that it needs to be broken in with high powered shots such as a 3 inch magnum slug or 3.5 inch turkey loads. Most sources say 2 to 4 boxes. Mine was new and was giving me issues with 1 1/8th Oz target loads and after some turkey shot it had no issues but that was only about half a pack. Even though Benelli doesn't recommend going to lighter shots some people say that after the 4 boxes you can shoot 1oz to 7/8oz reliably. I don't know about that but heavy shots help smooth out the low end shots.
Several shotguns run the inertia system and have for at least ten years. The Vinci was made for wing shooting. The standard version swings like a dream. Most duck hunters prefer the Super Black Eagle series, but I picked my Super Vinci for $900 so I couldn't pass on it.
The interia system is basically straight blowback. It's like trying to run a AR without a gas system. So yeah it will be fussy on cartridges. But it's a LOT cleaner and more reliable assuming you use the right loads.
Different chokes improves the pattern of the shot. How does deep freezing a barrel improve patterning? Sounds kind of like a b.s. sales pitch. The FN slp is a better shotgun that can run any ammunition through it for the same price
It’s not putting it in a deep freeze. It’s taking the newly manufactured barrel from being machined, which leaves stress fractures and areas of tension in the barrel, and putting it in a Cariogenic Treatment tank for 24hrs. Cooling it down with liquid Nitrogen to -300 degrees below zero rapidly. The molecular structure of the metal has changed after the process, and has been realigned to a mirror smooth, stress free condition that patterns better, lasts long, and is less likely to chip, crack, or corrode. Smoother surface inside the barrel means less disturbance on the shot column, which translates to denser patterns. 👍👍👍 The guy in the video was just trying to be funny.
I have a Benelli M2 Tactical with a factory magazine tube extension. It holds 8 rounds, 9 rounds if I ghost load a round. I've had excellent reliability with the M2. I've owned it for over 11 years and I put all kinds of loads through it. I think the Benelli M2 Tactical is a better option over the Vinci.
You two guys on the range makes for some of the most fun videos available on RUclips well for me at least.. when can we expect a long range review of a 6.5 Grendel? We’ve seen a Creedmoor already
I'm saving for a Tristar Tec-12 Semi auto/Pump shotgun. I don't buy Turkish made but this one will be the 1st for me because it's at a good value and it doesn't choke because you pump it and cycle the action.
Hey Eric, even though it doesn't say it is low recoil, it is. Federal makes 2 different law enforcement 9 pellet 00 tactical loads that utilize their FLITECONTROL WAD. Load Number: LE127 00 is the standard recoil version with a muzzle velocity of 1325fps and works best out of semi-autos. Load Number: LE132 00 is the low recoil version with a muzzle velocity of 1145fps. Out of the 9 pellet 00 tactical loads, this patterns the tightest and works best out of a cylinder bore plain Jane barrel with no constriction. Recommended form pump actions.
The reason why is to create a more ridgid steel crystal structure aiding in limiting harmic vibration under pressure, but also increase longevity of the steel over time due to the hardness, they do the same thing to knives in the henkel range, it will prob hold a tighter group as a result of the tempering process etc
I have shot the non LE version. The one I shot had immense amounts of work done to it by Benelli to get consistent action with 2 3/4 dram loads. This gun needs a solid thump of recoil to work right
Love the scattergun vids guys, keep it up! Edit: Onestly I prefer pump guns like Mossberg 590s and classic rem 870s, because you can't run those low recoil loads in semis. Pumps are more reliable when working as intended.
I bought a Vinci pistol grip setup like yours in 2016. ($1298 at Cabella's) I had to add the extended mag tube I bought through Midwest. ($255 for 4 - 3 inch to 5 - 2 3/4 inch extra rounds) Now it is essentially the same gun you are using. AS I RECALL... I found some online warnings that the Vinci "Inertia System" needed faster and heavier loads to cycle reliably. I can't remember the minimums. THE TRADE OFF IS THAT this semi-auto shotgun's modern internals remain much cleaner than those of a shotgun which uses the standard gunpowder charged blow back to cycle the next load. My scientific evaluation for this particular issue is to BUY BIGGER AMMO!
I'm not sure if you've already done this before. But I'd like to see the Glaser-safety-slug for Range v Accuracy & Penetration. As you know safety in home defense without over penetration and good range is a must. Would also like to see it on jellblocks if possible at 10 yards.
Eric, it is called VINCI, like chocholate vinCHi . It means WIN, in Italian.😜 Love your vids as always man. Best Vinci vid on the net. Thanks for the upload 👍
Hey Eric any chance your shop has a Mossberg 5500 elevator lying around? Been on a waiting list on a few parts websites and no luck. Mine snapped on one side and in a spot that it can't be welded.
I will say one thing, it’s DAMN LIGHT! I have owned the super Vinci field model for 5 years competition and hunting and it would sometimes choke on lighter field loads in the beginning . All I know is after some heavy, heavy 3.5 inch magnums the gun has ran flawlessly ever since. I do not believe this is a first choice for duty (m4 is the king of super duty use) this Vinci is a more mid duty every mans semi auto.
You may be too hard on this semi auto. They all have their ammo preferences. The jams were on the 00 at 1150 fps. Sure the box did not say "low recoil" but it was (usually runs at 1300 fps). So that stuff clearly meant for pump guns for folks who may be a tad recoil sensitive. I would not mark down the Vinci because of it.
VIDEO IDEA! Get everyone from moss pawn including chad (idk if he works there) and have them pick their #1 favorite gun and go to the range. Their #1 choice to keep if they couldn’t have any other gun. You could call it “Number One Gun Fun”
So why is it LEO only for the extended tube ? Is it because it is imported ? I found one on gunbroker, no pistol grip but extended tube, LEO only sale. 12/2019
Did you break it in when you got it? With inertia guns you’re supposed to run a couple of boxes of the heaviest loads you can find to break it in and should run light loads just fine
Cryo-treating first came about in the automotive industry. New engine-blocks where left outside in the cold north winter, and over time the cryo-affect happened naturally. The affect was profound and no-one knew why, but certain European manufacturers that left the engine blocks outside in the cold simply due to a lack of covered indoor storage produced cars that became synonymous with longevity and high quality. It is still being studied today since new things are still being discovered. Cryo-temps are -300F. You need liquid nitrogen to achieve this temp. Since nature is unable to produce -300F, I can only deduce that the natural sub-freezing environment that improved the engine-block steel happened at a much slower rate that could have taken several winter seasons. Cryo-treatment today can be achieved in less than a week. I saw a DIY home science guy build a liquid nitrogen generator on RUclips. Liquid nitrogen is actually made by compressing the nitrogen into a more dense form from the air you breathe.
Gun gripes enbound on what’s going on guys. Relax...sometimes it takes a few days to get them together.
Iraqveteran8888 Can you guy do a Barrett rec 7 gin 2 review and a meltdown with that upper I would really like to see that please and thank you.
Ok, thank you. The word on this seriously needs to get out to many people as possible. If Trump bans assault rifles ..... this is just out of control. Iraqveteran8888 p.s. I love cats
Iraqveteran8888 thank you for being the voice of freedom. God bless.
At :45 to .51 seconds in you can see its ejecting the hulls erratically and the last one barley made it out of the receiver.
I've been running a Benelli Vinci with an X-Rail extended tube and ported chokes for a few years. I use it in 3 Gun and hunting. Runs like a champ.
Lovin the Swedish camo, God bless.
Rocking that M90. I approve!
Mythwolf Lede 2 pommes!
Excellent review. You're an honest person. You're not like those other gun reviewers they just tell you everything's peachy keen...
And why do you keep closing the bolt to load a round from underneath? You're meant to drop a round in to the breach when it holds open and then press the button before you start loading the tube.

Great video!
These are the videos I love. Keep this style of shooting going.
Took the words right out of my mouth with that #4 buck, Eric. "That's what I'm talkin' bout'" Lol
Peace from Texas
That milk shot was awesome!! I wouldn't want to get sprayed with milk, but it was awesome for Eric to take one for the team!!
It's what makes your channel,THE BEST

Thanks Eric, That made my day!!!
first semi auto shotty I've seen, man love it so much
What exactly did you think was going to happen when you decided to shoot a group of milk jugs with a 1 and 1/8 oz slug at 10 yards. I needed a good laugh and thank you for that.
in the immortal words of the great Ron Burgundy, "milk was a bad choice." That range is gonna smell real ripe till the next rainfall
Seen the Vinci but never the tactical version. Pretty cool
You guys should do a 5 guns video for us in California! Love these vids!
Do nothing then
RacistDeplorableRussianAgent savage hahahaha
Great video guys. Thanks
Epic!!! ha ha ha ha ha Nice job on the review Eric!
Good explanation of the barrel. That is neat!
Such a satifying action sound
Great honest review
Holy muzzle flash batman!

toomanyglocks not even a comparison. The M1,m2,m3, and M4 are real fighting shotguns. I would much rather have them or a Beretta 1301 over the Vinci

Have a Tec 12 the pump mode is only for light loads. As in less then lethal rounds.
You can also asses jams from heavier loads if they don't cycle.
nice features this type of disassembly :)

10-4 thanks for the clarification
could you test beretta 1301 tac?
very good vid Eric, thank you
Keep doing what you do , getting older is compulsory , growing up is not 😂
Why would you ever sell your m4?
Other than getting a different firearm(s), what was the reason you got rid of your M4?
Negative on the Vinci glad you are enjoying it
I do. Approve of M4
Nice to see you once again in the Swedish M90 BDU!

Perfect review
I love the shotgun videos
These Italians and their shotguns that look like bikes, I like.
Vin-chee not vin-see . Sorry for the grammar nazi, but it's driving me nuts.
Yep.
If you have trouble remembering how to pronounce it, just think of Leonardo Da Vinci (so long as you haven't been butchering his last name too).
yes is vinci not vinsi !!! :)
This is America, I dont see a ch, so Vin-See it is. Sorry to all you Iti's and your weird spellings and pronunciations. Almost as bad as the French.
LOL, thanks for the comedy.
Cory M 👍👍
yessss more shotgun

8:00 you should use hatsan mpa ts
She is a beauty.
Great video... as always :-)
Cheers from Denmark
Had the same problem with the federal flight control with the Mossberg 930. Low recoil is low power. Definitely for pumps.
Eric, it is called VINCI, like chocholate vinCHi .
It means WIN, in Italian.😜
Love your vids as always man. Best Vinci vid on the net.
Thanks for the upload 👍
I love these videos, but it would be nice to see some more torture test type stuff like you did with the mosin, ariskaka, and the .410 that could!
looks like it would make a great competition shotgun
cool video nice shotgun 😎
Hell yeah great video.
I want it. Thanks Eric for the info.
Dairy farmers everywhere are thanking you.
My turkey gun is a Vinci and can shoot all day with any shoulder problems. Got it this last season for $800. I recommend A++
4:12-4:22 has me laughing every time. 😂
Love my super Vinci!!!
lol Eric cryin' over spilt milk... 🤣 fkn love it
A very enjoyable video.
I’m curious as to why you got rid of your M4?
Can we have a good look at the tree behind the sodas one day. I would love to see what's in it and its condition. Really enjoyed this video.
Hey Eric any chance your shop has a Mossberg 5500 elevator lying around? Been on a waiting list on a few parts websites and no luck. Mine snapped on one side and in a spot that it can't be welded.

@@rolandkee335 the m4 I own did not cycle 1 1/8 oz loads consistently until I Fired 50 3” magnum loads through it either. It’s just a break in thing.
Lovely view to 75 yard. Thank you.
That milk explosion lolol
A great duck hunting gun
Jameson Prince That's Desthpicable!!! LOL
Brian Smith not the tactical version. I'm saying the Vinci was made primarily as duck hunting gun.
Daffy duck 😂
That is a dang neat shotgun
What are your thinking of the Derya MK12 ?

The Milk Man runs a great yt channel!
No bumpstock gripe?
This or a Mossberg 930 JM Pro?

Please test out a Browning Auto-5
Could you guys do a full review on the Benelli Montefeltro? Seems like a great shotgun for not too terrible of a price
That one awesome shotgun, it sucks that I can't get it in NYC. It probably becuase it's scary looking.
What choke were you running in the video ?
Nice jacket
Nutnfancy had similar results with Benelli semi-auto shotguns, two separate guns years apart. Mossberg 930 all the way.
We have them in stock Eric.
So why is it LEO only for the extended tube ? Is it because it is imported ? I found one on gunbroker, no pistol grip but extended tube, LEO only sale. 12/2019

Very nice!
Haha, thanks for the video Eric!
If it's an LE shotgun how did you get a hold of one?
I glad I watched this. I know I don't want one of these.
Can you please make some more gun meltdown videos but on different weapons like for example an AUG , would be gr8 :DD btw keep it up man :D
