      SeabassJames I totally understand how people are coming to the “tear gas isn’t allowed in war so we shouldn’t use it domestically” conclusion but I have to disagree. I would rather get hit with CS gas(tear gas) than OC spray(pepper spray) any day and I have before. The military comparison could be looked at the same way with ammunition. Military isn’t allowed to use hollow points because: 1. It leaves a larger cavity that is hard to suture up 2. It’s less effective again body armor. So the military uses full metal jacket ammunition or ball ammo(for the most part)
      But with police: 1. Full metal jacket ammo tends to over penetrate and lead to a lot of collateral damage 2. Hollow points expand to double or triple their surface area to mitigate over penetration so it’s a lot less likely to keep traveling into someone’s house after it went through a hostile suspect.(But the good hollow points for self defense or police are nearly guaranteed to stay inside the intended target)
      I could talk all day about this kind of stuff but I hope this helped out in some way
      Edited for spelling

Taking 25 million homes and 40% of small business and every single penny out of your pocket to be held by the, ever so trustworthy, banks for all time, are just a few of the benefits reaped by the Crown's corporate allies. If you don't know about nanobots then that's the first and easiest thing you can do, by inserting the term into your search engine, to educate yourself as to the next step in control. No opting out, yours is already ordered. Regular mandated vaccines coming for the entire world population from an industry that gave us Thalidimide among many other things and pays billions every year in fines for felonies, as an operating expense, all involving lies and deception.

      @B_Bodziak 3 года назад +4

      Biden needs to win by a landslide so Trump and his followers can't claim fraud. THiS is why you need to vote regardless of what the polling looks like in your state. Also, please prepare yourself for things that may change between now and Nov. If your county had a sudden surge in positive cases you may not be as likely as you are today to go and vote in-person. So, try to take advantage of the early in-person voting most states offer, as well as, absentee ballots. States w/absentee ballots usually require you to first send in a request for a request for an absentee ballot. This AB request form has to be filled out and mailed in. Then you'll receive your actual absentee ballot with the candidates. This, too, is filled out and mailed into your county's election office. Most states do NOT provide free postage. So, if you're like me, you'll have to purposefully plan to have enough stamps. IF you request an absentee ballot and later decide you wish to vote in-person, you MUST take the completely BLANK (no marks, no "Xs" drawn on it, etc) absentee ballot with you to the polling station and tell the poll worker that you have an Absentee but wish to vote in person. With few exceptions, you will receive a Provisional written Ballot to fill out that will be returned with your unmarked absentee ballot to the county's election office and your registration and it will be verified that you did not mail in the absentee ballot before your votes are counted. Personally, I suggest that you obtain and mail in the form just for your absentee ballot request form now (Some states, such as Georgia, are in the process of trying to certify this initial step to be don't online). Remember, you have to fill out a form just to request the absentee ballot request form. Nonetheless, I suggest peoe either plan to vote early OR to go through the process to get their absentee ballots but plan to drop them off at your county's election's office OR use one of the designated drop-off boxes with various county locations.... And get a few stamps on your next grocery store run! No matter HOW you choose to vote, we must vote. You don't want to be kicking yourself because your candidate lost due to whacky polling (again), and you didn't think your vote would matter. ALSO, keep in mind House and Senate seats are up for grabs, too! In my county during the 2018 midterm, a House Rep lost by just 3 votes. I'm sure there were at a minimum, 3 voters who had perfect plans to vote in-person, but their plans somehow fell through on election day. Three votes!

      @@cameronburke8002 have you ever looked at the criteria for some of these so called the "Freedom Indexs"? It's completely B.S. For example: In 2011 a woman from Austria was convicted of “disparagement of religious precepts" because she called Muhammad a child molester. Now here's the crazy thing, the facts of what she did are not in dispute. She held “seminars” in which she presented her view that Muhammad was indeed a child molester. Dominant Islamic traditions hold that Muhammad’s third wife, Aisha, was 6 at the time of their marriage and 9 at its consummation. Muhammad was in his early 50s. The Austrian woman repeated these claims, and the Austrian court ruled that she had to pay 480 euros or spend 60 days in the slammer. Now in America it's not a crime to talk bad about religion. Matter of fact that's a Tuesday. So explain to me how Austria ranks higher on the freedom index for "free speech" and "freedom of religion". Explain to me how Trump criticizing the press but doing nothing to stop them from reporting is worse than countries that actually control what the press can and cannot publish.
      Is America perfect? No, not by a long shot. Is it the greatest country in the world? Well maybe but, at the very least it's up there.
      In my own personal opinion the biggest problem in the US is education. Now I'm not just talking about schooling but also our drive to be the best. Never before in human history has so much information been readily and easily available to everyone and yet so many people still choose to be ignorant. Ignorance is no longer a defense. It's no longer an excuse. Ignorance is now almost completely voluntary. At least it is in America.

      Most of European countries are simply astonished that the 1st world economy is so weak in redistribution for the people. Where most of European countries have solid and almost free healthcare, employment and retierement, USA has just a fraction of it. I know the easy rethoric used in the past by some politics to prevent building such institutions under the name of socialism and high taxes. Trump attacked Germany, Danemark, France for being socialist like if Stalin had built western Europe ! Seriously? Solidarity is the real word not socialism. Solidarity is also not to confuse with Charity as some people think. Charity is when à few people give to a fewer. Solidarity is when the growth you generate is redistributed to large part of the population. People are scared it will increase taxes, funny indeed when you consider solidarity in the US first goes to the big corporations rather than it the people under the Shape of more depts and not taxes. Sad and corruption.. The past previous GOP at least used safety nets for compensation in front of a crisis. Trump looks to pass safety strings in comparaison. Not sure it will be enough.. It is not even a good economic strategy when you consider consumption is the big engine for occidental economies. How is this engine going to restart when people don't have anymore money to fuel it?

Certain people on the right think health, education and work are matters of individual responsibility and so the state should not have to pay for people's bad decisions in life. Isn't that basically what the American system is about? A pure meritocracy, or so they think. Of course it's not the prevalent ideology here in Northern Europe, but it's certainly present even today. Humans have a tendency to attribute their own success to their superiority and other people's failures to their lesser skills and character.

    I can only admire in horror to all of the US late night hosts and comedians doing their job, as a non-American I find none of what happens there laughable anymore. It's a full on fatal political apocalypse now. I wish everyone who social distances and follows the proper health guideline to be safe and sane during this pandemic.

      Yeah, as a US resident, I consider late-night comedians as " essential services". It's hard to find things funny anymore-we have now passed into the realm of the twilight zone. Not kidding.

    I so disappointed with my fellow motorcyclists who went to Sturgis, Perhaps the tough guy images and bravado is not at all what it seems because I see a group of people who don’t seem tough enough to put up with a few months of hardship in order to save thousands of others’ lives, they wear their patches and ride their big tough Harleys and Indians but are too weak or stupid to see the value of small short term sacrifices for the common good. Those t- shirts will identify those stupid stupid people for the rest of us. ( I bet this display of stupidity will hurt Indian and Harley sales) Here they are demanding the right to cause death and damage to vulnerable Americans because they feel a bit inconvenienced. Imagine if during the shelling of pearl harbour this same mentality prevailed, I’m entitled to my breakfast, I’m not taking cover , I’m not going to let those bombs bother me because I am strong and free. Or in London during the blitz, I’m not turning out my light I’m entitled to read my newspaper. Think these are outrageous examples? Look at the dead in 911, Pearl harbour and London. All those death tolls , which we supposedly hold sacred, have been utterly exceeded .
    The world sees the USA for what it is, a country of privileged scared little paranoid men ( why else would they need so many guns to feel like a man) who do nothing when children are slaughtered at school, who resist simple public health precautions and bully the rest of the world into buying it weapons. Is this really the great USA, doesn’t sound like it. Not much time is left for the USA to prove otherwise.
