The saxophone was awesome. I hadn’t heard one used so well with an orchestra. But it fit well with the vocals, almost like a ghostly wail mixed into them. The erhu had a similar effect.

We all love the sax at 3:13, but I personally feel like bursting into tears at the 4:09 mark: to me it's like the climax of 30+ years of stories, fights, characters, places, victories and failures, and above all... a legend. THE legend.

Grew up playing saxophone and trying to help tunes. Specifically French Horne. My spouse bought me an ocarina and sheet music for Legend of Zelda. Now he is searching for this sax stuff. Anyone who can find good sheet music for alto e-flat lemme know.

Really hope recency bias doesn’t let starfield take game of the year from this masterpiece. People say it didn’t have enough novelty, but it’s novelty comes from being the first ever large, yet still perfect game. Nobody I’ve encountered has ever been able to name a single flaw that isn’t based around nitpicks.
