Not really! This quality is FUJIFILM and it cinematic presets! Not all cameras can produce such beauty films! And of course, with a person like this one behind, all gets much, much better!
Hey, thanks for being one of the few to upload some test video! Ridiculous how many views people are missing that have this camera in hand and aren’t showing the video features. Thanks!
Just want to echo what others have said and thank you for showing VIDEO clips from this camera. Pre-ordered as my EDC photo camera but also mainly as my b-roll video cam since it now has IBIS. Awesome quality!
Thanks. Yea, most of the people think this is a photo camera because of that classic design look. But if the video specs are good. I don’t see why not using it for video too. The IBIS works really well for video 😊
Wow. I am late to this, but I have this camera and I love it! I am interested in your color grade. Could you create a LUT or share anything about it? I LOVE the colors!
Maybe just the RUclips upload/compression but a lot of areas like the ripples in the water and the trees blowing in the wind looking really mushy/pixelated. Not sure if looks like that on the source footage? Colors look great though.
I've come back months later to reinspire myself. By the way, what is your editing project settings? Are you use 2:1 ratio and cropping the video in? Are you exporting in 4k? If so, what is your export settings? VBR? Min 50mbps and max 65mbps? In any case, thanks in advance, have a wonderful day! Hope to hear from you.
Thanks. Yea only if you wanted to shoot in F-Log 2 picture profile. As F-log 2 minimum ISO is 1000. The built in 4 stops ND wasn’t strong enough. Thats why I had to use external NDs ☺️
@@stewartmoore Yea I had the NiSi True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano NDs in this video. Because the built in 4 stops ND wasn’t strong enough for F-Log 2. As F-Log 2 minimum ISO is 1000. I mean, if you just shoot in normal picture profile. I think you can get away with just built in ND 😊
I don’t know why the xh2s footage looks so much better? this is the best video I have seen from this camera but I can’t pin down why it has a small camera feel, I had the same with the Lx7 years ago. Maybe it’s too sharp or could just be focal length.
I used the Angelbird AV Pro V90 card for the 6K recording. But the X100VI only max out at 200mbps for 6K video. Unlike the XH2S you can do 720mbps 6K and XS-20 you can do 360mbps 6K. So I guess you can get away with just V60 card 😊
Did you use any kind of Wide Angle conversion? Impressive how you got it to look so wide (fills up almost the entire screen) on youtube compared to other videos on here. Looks awesome.
@dsipictures It's the aspect ratio, but what is this number of the aspect ratio you used? Works great on phones with wide screens like my Samsung phone. 16:9 doesn't look very good on these devices anymore. It makes us want to zoom in video (zoom to fill)
I always enjoy watching your videos. I was wondering if you always mount a tripod for static angles or do you steady with a gimbal? I find it very difficult to combine gimbal and tripod.
To be honest, the battery life isn’t that bad. But definitely not great. Especially when shooting 6.2K video. I used about 3 batteries during my test. From 10am to 7pm. But I was button on and off the whole time tho. When I finish the shoot, the third battery had about 50% battery left. If that was Sony, I could make a full video test with just one battery.
The X100VI 10Bit 6.2K video max out at 200mbps only. The bitrate is a lot lower than the XS-20 (360mbps) and XH2S (720mbps). And I think that’s the reason why you can still shoot 6K video on the UHS-1 card. During my test, the camera overheated once. But it was a hot day when I did the video (34’c). A 128GB card, you get roughly about 70mins of 6.2K video 😊
Thank you so much, that XT3 video has been a while hey. The X100VI did overheated once during my test. But that was a 34’c day. I think if you button on and off. Shouldn’t be a problem for video vlog and family trip 😊
Same thing with my X-T5, for some reason I dont like the visuals of the 6.2k mode... the 4k HQ DCI mode is much easier on the eyes...its hard to describe
BRUHHH and i thought it can only take the greatest photo and not good video and now i see this, thank you DSI Pictures, i guess im gonna get that now 😂, i currently have the X-T100
The X100VI is actually a pretty decent video camera too. It shoots 10Bit 6.2K video, 4K 60p. And not just about the specs. It’s the IBIS which makes the camera shine 😊
İt is not about the camera it is about the man have skill and knowledge. We have to read and increase our knowledge. We need know color we need some edit technic
No opengate unfortunately, the X100VI has one to one pixel read out. That’s why it has a 1.23x crop when shooting 6.2K video on a 40MP sensor. Otherwise it would have been 8K video for the opengate ☺️
Hmmmz great shots as always but footage seems very digital and crunchy compared to other Fuji camera. Looks more digital than iPhone 15 pro max footage
No matter what camera you use, the man behind it makes the big difference!
Thank you very much, really appreciated 😊😊

Thanks, yea I think this is also a powerful video camera too ☺️
Just picked up mine. I have some casual test video on my channel if you wanna have a look.
I was already sold, but this video just sold me even more. Amazing color grading and production of shots as well! My goodness

@@dsipicturescan you use the ibis and ND filter together? Iv read in another comment on a different video you can’t… which seems odd
This just sold another million units...

FANTASTIC.......amazing combination with the music I just heard! Fujifilm quality! Greetings from Germany
What a lovely small camera
Perfect camera for someone that does primarily photography, with a little bit of video. I think it will handle everything I need it to very well.
Omg you made Perth look so beautiful!
Oh thank you 🙏🏻

Why the colour turn more warm? Is it come naturally or camera itself? Compare fujifilm xm 5, which one you think best? I also watch your xm5 vedio?

Were you using a gimble? How did you get such steady slow mo?
What do you mean? I did not fill this video :)

Hi, what is Nisi True Color ND Vario? Is it some camera setting?
The filter you use is very interesting !! Very good video as always and the new Fujifilm X100VI is good !!

Literally, cinema film quality👍
The footage so good and the music so strong and powerfull. 🙂
Thanks for watching ☺️
Could you provide the link to the filter you used?
What was the name of the filter system you used. Great footage as always!
Thanks. Did you mean the ND filter I use in this video? Or did you mean how I grade the video? 😊

May I know what type you use? Brand and type. Wanted to see what sd card is required for capturing 6k footage

Did you use any kind of Wide Angle conversion? Impressive how you got it to look so wide (fills up almost the entire screen) on youtube compared to other videos on here. Looks awesome.
Thanks. I didn’t use the wide angle lens converter. It was straight out from the original lens (43mm after the 1.23x crop on 6K mode) ☺️
@dsipictures It's the aspect ratio, but what is this number of the aspect ratio you used? Works great on phones with wide screens like my Samsung phone. 16:9 doesn't look very good on these devices anymore. It makes us want to zoom in video (zoom to fill)
@@VetteWerks Opps my bad. Yea I converted to 2.35:1 ratio 😊
Is it possible to have crop mode in the video mode? That's something I couldn't find on the net.
Unfortunately no, the digital teleconverter isn’t available in video mode 😉
Thank you for clarifying! @@dsipictures
Does it do HDR Video?
I always enjoy watching your videos. I was wondering if you always mount a tripod for static angles or do you steady with a gimbal? I find it very difficult to combine gimbal and tripod.
did you use a gymball?
Very nice vídeo. Congrats. Just a question. For the colour grading you edit with DaVinci? Used any specific LUT?
How long did it take for the battery to die with these settings?
To be honest, the battery life isn’t that bad. But definitely not great. Especially when shooting 6.2K video. I used about 3 batteries during my test. From 10am to 7pm. But I was button on and off the whole time tho. When I finish the shoot, the third battery had about 50% battery left. If that was Sony, I could make a full video test with just one battery.
nice work as always, can you test it out with a Ninja V?
Awesome video, thank you so much for sharing 🤗
mAY I ASK IF YOU'RE using a gimble in these video shots? IS the IBIS reliable enough for b-rolls?
I understand x100vi only has one uhs-i card slot. Was it enough to shoot the 10bit 6.2K? did the camera overheat? how large are the file sizes?
The X100VI 10Bit 6.2K video max out at 200mbps only. The bitrate is a lot lower than the XS-20 (360mbps) and XH2S (720mbps). Thanks. Yea I live in Perth. Hopefully yours arriving soon. It’s a beautiful camera 😊
did you only use ibis or plugin to have this steady video?
Great footage! Did you use a gimbal or all handheld? Looks crazy steady...
Thanks, most of the shots were filmed on a gimbal. But there was one shot at 2:18. That one was a handheld shot 😊
@@dsipicturesHi.what gimbal you suggest for this camera?
Tanks for the video. Does digital teleconverter, on X100VI, works in video? Tanks
The 75mm Digital teleconverter doesn’t not work in video mode unfortunately 😉
Tanks. Unfortunately 😅
They say fujifilm is physically not possible to fulfill all the preorders that came in even with in our life time
Great video!! I've subscribed to you guys since the time you did the XT3 high quality version. Did this overheat in back to back shooting ?
Would you recommend for all day video vlog / family trip types?

how are the thermals?
It did overheat on me once during my testing. Having said that, it was a hot day too when I did the video (34’c).
thank you for the reply@@dsipictures
Omg this is insane
did you use any grip or external stabilizer for these videos or were you filming while holding the camera in hand?
This video was mostly shot on a gimbal
what format did you export the video in? somehow it looks so anamorphic :D
Nice video!
Two questions -
Did you do any color correction?
The outside shots: were they handheld, gimbal, post-stabilized / a combo of some or all?
Thanks. It was shot on a gimbal, no in post stabilization. And it was shot on F-log 2 picture profile. So it had to grade the footage ☺️
Awesome!
I would love to see what the SOC video looks like with the different film sims. Would you make a video on that?

It was shot with a gimbal
Is there any crop in 6k?
