      If rule was really about player safety, Gunner Stockton committed Targeting. Georgia would have been backed up 15 yards. And that we would could have a very different outcome.

      The reason why, is movies, elections, and big games are scripted. Nothing is left to chance. There's just too much money involved to let things play out naturally.

      @K-xb2qzI think both teams are better than the other in different areas. I think Georgia has the better overall defense (especially up front- those dudes are freaks on the edge). On offense, Run game might have a slight Georgia edge. Texas is without a doubt the better QB and passing game

    • @sublime9525
      @sublime9525 11 months ago +4

    • @BWillTheAddict
      @BWillTheAddict 11 months ago +1

      @sublime9525right 😂 it was a neutral sight where would anybody plant their flags

    • @sublime9525
      @sublime9525 11 months ago +1

      @BWillTheAddict Planting a flag means an opposing force has symbolically taken control of a territory or situation by physically placing their flag there. Atlanta is already UGA's territory. There's nothing to plant.

    • @BWillTheAddict
      @BWillTheAddict 11 months ago +4

      @henryjw15How did he commit targeting?

    • @henryjw15
      @henryjw15 11 months ago +1

      @LeetraviusMcKay-q6m he dropped his head when he was bracing for contact. He was making contact with his neck.

    • @justarandomdude4463
      @justarandomdude4463 11 months ago +21

      @LeetraviusMcKay-q6m ignore it, they are crying because a runner made a truck move.
      For those crying here is a copy paste from the rule book:
      ARTICLE 4. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting. When in question, it is a foul. ... Note 1: "Targeting" means that a player takes aim at an opponent for *purposes of attacking* with forcible contact that goes beyond making a *legal tackle* or a *legal block*
      In short, a player has to be making a tackle, block, or play on the ball.
      If the ball carrier lost the ball he could arguably commit targeting in it's retrieval

    Mike Bobo's play-calling on the fake punt was a gutsy and pivotal moment for Georgia. Rolling the dice like that shows incredible confidence in his players and an understanding of the game situation. It's the kind of bold move that can swing momentum and energize a team, especially in high-stakes games.

    No Carson Beck in the 2nd half, no problem. Texas left a lot of points on the board in this game and they were turning it over in the most crucial time in the game. Stockton came in and played solid, he is still learning how to play quarterback. Georgia capitalized on opportunities, while Texas didn’t

    Kirby Smart’s unwavering belief in his players and coaching staff is what sets him apart as one of the best in college football. His faith in Gunner Stockton, a talented and determined quarterback, and Mike Bobo’s strategic play-calling shows the power of trust and persistence. Together, they embody the Georgia Bulldogs' relentless spirit: never backing down, always believing, and rising to every challenge.
    It's that belief that turns potential into greatness and ensures the Dawgs remain a powerhouse in college football. In Kirby, Gunner, and Bobo, Georgia fans see the perfect blend of leadership, talent, and strategy. Always believe-because champions are made through faith and perseverance. GO DAWGS!

    Bama fan here! Thank you & CONGRATULATIONS to Georgia & Kirby Smart for welcoming Texas to the SEC & NOT letting them win an SEC Championship their first year in the SEC! What a crazy game!
    Ok, now that I got that said & over, EXCUSE ME KIRBY SMART BUT THAT WAS INCREDIBLY KIRBY STUPID!!! Georgia is ahead by 3 points & gets an interception with 3:37 left in the game. WHY ARE YOU THROWING THE FOOTBALL? IN A SITUATION SUCH AS THAT YOU RUN THE FOOTBALL! For the very reason that your team showed. You run the ball to take time off the clock & so that you ARE NOT RISKING AN INT. MAYBE & I do say maybe risk a pass IF it's third down & five or six & you have a reasonable chance at getting a first down with a pass. But it also needs to be a "low risk" pass too. The pass Stockton threw that ALMOST LOST THE GAME had to not only be one of the more stupid throws I've ever seen but whoever called that specific play imo was also on the "not too bright" side as well. And as Head Coach, Mr Kirby Smart you have the option to "veto" that play & call something different. Sarkisian & Texas took full advantage of YOUR MISTAKE & it ALMOST costed Georgia another loss in the SEC Championship Game. And if you had been playing a different team, like Alabama, you might have even lost. You had a fairly good running attack. What's the saying? Dance with the one that brung ya? I mean alls well that ends well but IT ALMOST DIDN'T END WELL for Georgia"!

      I was thinking the same thing. Herbstreit was being so critical the whole game on GA.

      Even as a UGA fan, I won’t lie. We can play hot and cold haha.
      But when we’re hot, good lord no one stops us.

      @GoDawgz90Herbstreit despises Georgia. I don’t know what it is. He helped Georgia miss the 2007 BCS when they deserved it more than LSU. Said the same thing last year and in 2021 after both SECCG losses.

      @GoDawgz90 Herbstreet has always hated Georgia and has made his bias abundantly clear. This has been going on for well over a decade now

    Texas fans crying about the refs no, you need to be crying at your coach about putting the wrong quarterback in the game😂😂😂

    The fact that beck left the game for a bit is the sole reason georgia won 🤣🤣🤣

    Mike Bobo's decision to call a fake punt during the 2024 SEC Championship between Georgia and Texas was a defining moment in the game. In a tightly contested battle, Georgia's punt unit executed a direct snap to lineman Drew Bobo, who rumbled forward to secure a crucial first down. This bold play helped extend a fourth-quarter drive that eventually led to a go-ahead field goal.

    If Texas wants to win a championship Ewers cannot be the starter. He looks so uncomfortable in the pocket.
