@MadMac-15 that's not the problem. There's supposed to be principles and integrity. So someone has to be held accountable, or this will continue. At the very least, they didn't or couldn't even stay consistent. The one thing EVERYBODY can agree on is that the refs have made some horrible calls this year. That's something every team can relate to. For them to overturn a call that wasn't reviewable after the fact. Only after Texas fans threw a fit is crazy. But I would 100% agree that they ultimately got that interception call right at the end. If that was it, I could understand going against protocol to ultimately get the right decision. But then they have a chance to ACTUALLY review a missed TD by UGA. A clear TD upon review that was originally called short. Did they follow the same logic or line of thinking as before to ultimately get the right call? No! So, at the very least, the lack of consistency should be the main issue. That's like... some games, where some refs allow DB's to be more physical. That's cool. Just keep it consistent throughout the game so everyone's on a level playing field. That's without me going deeper into the game, especially that last targeting call. And having the attitude of... well, UGA still won. Won't stop this from happening in the future. Or what if it changed the outcome of a game? Somebody has to take responsibility. People bet money on these game. And I'm one of them! And I don't want it played with like that.

Texas had played literally nobody before this game. Which is why all the national hype was so laughable. These are the teams that Texas 'dominated' before today. That would be Colorado State. What a win! A win over a wildly over rated Michigan team at the time. Then University of Texas San Antonio. Scary. Louisiana Monroe? Crappy Mississippi State? A garbage Oklahoma team also clearly over rated. Whoa, how impressive. Then getting destroyed at home v the first actual team they faced. The score didn't indicate how lopsided this was.
This is a prime example of why being undefeated in FBS has mostly been a gimmick. With so many football programs, teams have often been matched up against vastly inferior teams, thereby increasing the odds teams finished the regular season "undefeated." The undefeated season in the NFL is a real accomplishment because the top teams arent able to pad their "undefeated" resumes by beating overmatched competition 52-3. We might already be there or it might be in the next few years that the undefeated season in FBS will become as rare as it is in the NFL because the top programs will no longer be afraid to play against one another in order to preserve their "undefeated" season. It does seem with respect to this the narrative that Texas might not be the definitive best team because they hadn't played top tier competition like Georgia.
I know the call was probably not PI but overturning a non reviewable call was crazy work. Texas has a cupcake schedule for the SEC. First tough team they've faced all year and got smoked. I personally think they're a bit overrated. They are not beating top tier teams.

That is not a targeting call, the defender was matching the WR who brought his crown down first..
💯The zoom angle showed more helmet to chest as well. Terrible call against UGA.
Who cares, Georgia won the game. Why are you complaining.
@@MadMac-15let's see, um losing a player going into next week, against a rival.

They threw a check and the refs got it
No delay of game ? B.S
All they’ve proven is that even tho they’re worth 32 billion you can’t buy a championship 🤣🤣🤣
They are never good fans. It's that woke mentality in Austin.
Classic Tx. entitlement. Y’all will get used to it. 😂
As a Georgia fan WE OWN YOU FRUADS 🐶🐶🐶
Yep we do
Didnt own bama tho
Georgia won this one 11 against 16. Grossly one-sided officiating at times. Go Dawgs!
That second targeting call made me sick
Just stop Georgia won by two scores the refs calls really didn't effect the game.
@MadMac-15 uga won. But the calls 100% effected the outcome.
could have been 37-8
@@MadMac-15 that’s not how that works dipshit
Ever since the 2nd half in Tuscaloosa, Georgia been playing like the best team in the nation. This win puts them back the the discussions of Top 3 teams in the nation, despite having 1 loss
I disagree. They played mediocre versus Auburn and honestly really sad against Mississippi State. This game is the true bounce back.
@@sterndesertYes, the defense regressed in those two games. This game, the defense dominated and basically won the game.
Absolutely not 😂😂 Texas way overrated and you talkin bout the same Georgia team that turned the ball over 3x tonight and escaped with a 41-31 win over Mississippi St last week 🤡
@@sterndesert Georgia’s defense was mediocre against Auburn and poor against Mississippi State, but the offense continued to thrive. Today, we finally saw Georgia thrive on both sides of the ball again.

THE HYPE WAS EVERYTHING SURROUNDING TEXAS VS GEORGIA 💯!
Texas’s only scores came off an onside kick and a interception return. Other than that the refs were the only ones getting first downs for Texas. Questions need to be asked
That D line is what got the job done for georgia.. the way they drew up the plays for that D line was championship lvl.. props to them but texas is not done this season.. not even close
🤘🏼🏈🏆

Props to the media for hyping Texas up. And those who voted them up to AP #1 in their 1st season in the SEC. That fantasy ride lasted until reality showed up on the schedule
You do realize ap ratings don’t matter?
Horns down
These refs should have to pay a fine of some kind.
Georgia still won the game? The calls on the refs where correct. Even if they weren't Georgia still won by 15. So, just stop
If UGA still had Bennet instead of Beck, they would roll everyone they played.
Beck isn't looking like he's getting any better. IMO
Beck’s avg 3 interceptions/game like he’s playing for the other team

Bennett had Brock bowers and Ladd though. Js.

@@CometPurcell we almost did but they reversed it 🤣
Not a Texas fan, but I've been watching them since 2021. I've noticed some things. Quinn Ewers chokes in the big games. Against TCU in 2022, and against Washington last year. There is absolutely no reason Texas should have lost those games. All that 5 star talent on Offense and can't get the job done. Texas should have been preparing for UGA instead of sitting around celebrating their blowout win over a terrible Oklahoma
And Michigan the worse number 1 team in the ncaa Oklahoma has a harder schedule 🤣🤣🤣
One thing, Quinn was not the reason they choked in that Washington game. That secondary and the fumbles were the reason, but the tcu game yes

Just have to wonder if the refs had money on Texas on this game with their calls…..
I just want to remind you that Georgia won by 15 points so the refs calls really didn't matter. So, stop crying about the refs
Regardless, refs shouldn’t be influenced by fans just bec they’re scared
Georgia is the best team in college football. They win even when the. referees work against them.
Nazir Stackhouse did a great job❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍 great save
As a Nebraska fan, this makes me happy. I'd read about how when we were in the Big 12, Texas used to push everybody around and screwed everything up with their politics. Particularly Nebraska.
Refs should NOT reward the crowd for throwing garbage on the field. This will happen in EVERY big game from now on!
Refs changing a call bc the fans were upset is genuinely astonishing.
when you can turn the ball over 3 times and still win, that's a dangerous team.
Almost beat bama too this way but fell a little short
@@deathkissgoodbye their mo is the deep ball after a timeout or call. if you look back at the big games they always throw it deep after, exactly how we lost the natty to them. We didn’t recognize it and it jus so happen to be the same play this year just opposite side of the field

How are they going to call targeting when the receiver lowered his head initially. Make it make sense smdh.
The db still led with his helmet it’s clear as day bud he just got caught in the moment
So he is just supposed to let the runner lower his head and take the hit? Get real. If the rule is to protect players then the runner shouldn't be able to do it either. Period. @@apxbussdwn8868

Hey Texas, welcome to the SEC
Losing to a top 5 opponent isn’t a welcome to the sec moment
If you throw enough bottles, you'll get a call reversed. What an absolute disgrace of an officiating crew.
That was a statement by the Dawgs. They wrecked the house of the #1 ranked team. Ewers and Manning looked shell-shocked. Too bad the Dawgs don't have a QB. They'd be unstoppable.
I have never seen a call made on the field, and after fans throw bottles, they reverse the call.
If Georgia had a decent QB they would win this year no problem. Talk about an Elite Defense AGAIN!!
That's my Dawgs 👍👍👍👍👍
UT advertising budget is hella deep. Playing like that and ranked #1

And just like that, Georgia is back on top of college football.
I guess Texas wasn't SEC ready after all 😢😂
The guy Dockery who make the football videos exposing refs, will have a field day with this game 😂
Go DAWGS! Welcome to the Sec Texas Etienne was cooking Carson beck is him

Go Dawgs, I love Beck but he was awful tonight
Even becks 3 interceptions/game, we still find a way to win
If college fans can throw beers and get a reversal call NFL better get ready for Sundays.
This is a prime example of why being undefeated in FBS has mostly been a gimmick.
With so many football programs, teams have often been matched up against vastly inferior teams, thereby increasing the odds teams finished the regular season "undefeated."
The undefeated season in the NFL is a real accomplishment because the top teams arent able to pad their "undefeated" resumes by beating overmatched competition 52-3.
At the end of the day, getting a W is the best feeling…😂😂😂
I know the call was probably not PI but overturning a non reviewable call was crazy work. Texas has a cupcake schedule for the SEC. First tough team they've faced all year and got smoked. I personally think they're a bit overrated. They are not beating top tier teams.
