Jealous that you got to be there. I was at the A&M vs Alabama game where Aggies won with a field goals and stormed the field. Doesn’t even compare to 8 OTs🤣I was at TAMU when Haynes King was, even took a class with him. Cool to see him doing big stuff
Yeah this game had everything. As a UGA fan, it started with heartache, then hope, then climax, before being stripped off that hope again. Then a bunch of do or die situations before getting the victory. What a storyline!!!

It would have been an instant classic if the officials not looked the other way on an obvious targeting/spearing play that could have been reviewed at any point during the 5 minutes between the play ending and the review of the fumble. I assume it was an SEC/ESPN review crew.
What when teck targeted Lovett or the other time a UGA receiver got targeted with no review? Bc I know you can't mean a QB who ran the ball more than their RB and went for over 100 yd running up the middle and UGA safety put his helmet right on the ball with one of the best hits and most clutch defensive play of the year.. bc if you mean that play your nut just like all the rest of these tech fans swearig that's a targeting on what was the opposite of a defenseless ball carrier. @@christianraines3032 i mean we did just see an unranked tech team with 5 backups playing on defense in the db positions, by all accounts just beat GA. twice actually. they won when they stopped GA on the 4th and goal but got called for an imaginary PI. then they won again when haynes king ran up the middle for the 1st down but fumbled. the tackle that caused the fumble was the easiest and most obvious targeting call ive seen in a while but the refs intervened and ignored it which gave GA the ball in scoring position. and neither of those 2 plays are even arguable by GA fans as not being BS and robbing tech of that victory. that was a 3rd loss by UGA this year and dont forget the 13-12 game vs a bad and unranked kentucky. UGA could easily be sitting here with 4 losses and 2 of them by unranked teams. so you might ought to dial that confidence back a couple notches when someone says they would take Boise state over UGA cause we just watched a lesser team beat UGA handily at home and just over a month ago watched UGA barely beat a much worse team than Boise State, which is Kentucky, with a laughable score of 13-12. lol oh and dont forget the complete annihilation that ole miss put on UGA just 3 weeks ago. @@klw3876 Defense was great until the fourth quarter- The Yellow Jackets defense was humming throughout the first three quarters. They held Georgia to under 50 rushing yards and the Bulldogs to just six points. In the first half, the Georgia Tech defense forced two three-and-outs and also a turnover forced by Syeed Gibbs. They held Georgia to just 137 yards of total offense in the first half, and the Bulldogs had just 28 rushing yards in the first half. Then the struggles came as more of the defensive backs got banged up. The Yellow Jackets gave up 38 points in the 4th/OT period of the game and rarely had defensive stops when they needed them most. Carson Beck started gashing the reserve defensive backs and Georgia Tech couldn’t generate enough pressure to affect Beck and force a turnover. The Yellow Jackets did get close in the fourth quarter with a neat strip fumble against true freshman RB Nate Frazier, but as Omar Daniels ripped the ball away Frazier was down on the ground. It definitely would have changed the direction of the game as the Yellow Jackets could have taken more time off the clock. The defense has been much improved this season and deserves their praise, but in the last few weeks in the fourth quarter where attrition starts to set in, Georgia Tech has struggled.

Georgia tech absolutely robbed by the officials. Not one (Georgia fumble near the goal line not overturned clearly a fumble, Pass interference on 4th in goal was 100% not, Haynes King targeting, Georgia holding all game long) clearly there is a script and Georgia tech beating Georgia was not part of that script. Sucks to see such a good game ruined by a few poor calls.
Know the rules, man, that was not targeting on the fumble and there was P.I. on the 4th and goal play. Refs didn't call the Prevent defense and they didn't force the fumble.
everything he said was true, know the rules. Was not pi, even if it was, ball was tipped making no PI. Georgia beenfitted from hat exact thing last year against GT. Targeting, he made head to head contact using the crown of his helmet. Definition of targeting right there.
No serious football person calls that targeting. He hit him in the stomach. On the other hand, a Tech player went helmet-to-helmet with a launch during an earlier Georgia TD. In any football game, there are missed calls. Do you seriously think Tech players never held? Give it a rest. It was a good game. Just be proud of your team and don’t sound like a loser by complaining about a missed hold call.
@@ugadawgs1990 he hit him in the stomach after going through his helmet with the crown. That is targeting by definition. On that Lovett touchdown you can point where a launch occurred and crown of the helmet contact was made? No you can't because he stopped his launch and it was side of the helmet.

Please explain "lucky". Georgia was outplayed the majority of the game. We all saw that. I will not argue that. There were defensive plays from Georgia that kept them in the game. When it counted, Georgia tied the game. That's when GT was outplayed. Then, GT had their chances and blew it in O/T. Pretty simple. At least Beck isn't the topic of hate today. He had 5 TD's and no INT's. Not sure how you get "lucky" out of that game. Both teams played their tails off. One of them had to lose. It happened to be GT. Luck had nothing to do with it.
@@lorensmith5168Agreed. Ga plays its best football in the second half. We may have given up chunk yardage, but we got some big time stops when it mattered most. Offense woke up as well. I don’t get why so many fans keep calling UGA a fraudulent team 😂
That hit on the QB with 2 minutes left in regulation that caused the fumble was obvious targeting. It's the exact definition of targeting. Defensive player lower his helmet and lead with the crown of the helmet into the head of the offensive player as you can see his helmet pop back because he is hit in the facemask area. Didn't watch the game live so I don't know if they reviewed it for targeting, but they should have absolutely called that play as targeting and given GT the ball with a first down.
Agree it’s targeting. And look at the first response. That’s the argument against the non-call? Yikes, gotta come up with something better than that Georgia fans. I came here after looking at the box score thinking how the f do you fumble late in the 4th?!?! Oh I see you get illegally helmet to helmet target-rocked and you fumble. Nasty business indeed.
@@VieweronRUclips - possession of the football is irrelevant. It makes no difference whatsover to a targeting penalty. And I'm not someone who necessarily "wants" anything. @@WhitneyGadison1 No. Georgia recovered a fumble on GT’s last possession in regulation, but it was called incomplete. Was definitely a fumble, because the receiver took 3 steps before losing it. Then again in OT, Georgia got called for a BS DPI that wasn’t catchable, nor did the DB have a hand on him. That gave GT another chance to win from the 1.5 yard line, but UGA stuffed them.

Lol Boise State over Georgia sure 😂😂😂😂

Targeting, he made head to head contact using the crown of his helmet. Definition of targeting right there.
No serious football person calls that targeting. He hit him in the stomach. On the other hand, a Tech player went helmet-to-helmet with a launch during an earlier Georgia TD.
Wanting a targeting call on a runner with the ball is crazy! Nasty business indeed.

Tech gonna be a problem In The future
the fact that this game was 95 minutes🙏🏾💀
Probably more tho
Way more
Brother it was WAYYY more than that
Game started after 7:30 eastern and ended at midnight. This was four and a half hours lmaoooooo
@@whydoineedachanneltocommen8755 ya it was 12:16
Weird they chose not to show the replay of that supposed defensive PI by GT.
Weird???
No, on purpose to mask the Refs impact!!!
true
Neutral fan here. Seeing a lot of UGA fans talk about their respect for GTech now. Well you certainly should becuz between the missed targeting, missed slamming gts qb head in the ground no call, the crazy missed holding call, and the ghost Pi in the end zone all in the 4th quarter, UgA absolutely should have lost 😂😂
FACTS!!!, I literally just left a similar comment, GA had help in that 4th on 2 TDs, this game shouldn't have gotten that far
Loved this video, keep up the great work!
Easily game of the year that was an instant classic
100 times better then Georgia vs alabama
When I was watching I wanted tech to win but when it got to 7 ot’s I just wanted to see a record lmao

@ Yes
I felt the blood, sweat, and tears watching the game.
GO DAWGS!!!!
It’s a really good thing Georgia won. We have been saved from yet another three loss team whining about how the playoffs were really made for them.
*cough BAMA cough*
Loses to 2 unranked teams and think they deserve a playoff spot lmao
The UGA match officials just did it single-handedly😆😆!
Have fun playing vandy Georgia is locked in for the playoffs 🤭
@@xappletrol9457 locked in. Sure. If you wanna call it that
aw, sad that your vols suck once again?
I'm surprised they're letting the inmates travel from Neyland Penitentiary to Nashville.
Sorry, Tennessee fans have no right to complain about literally anything when they throw mustard bottles on the field when they don't get their way and have to pull bush league plays like faking injuries and trying to walk to the sideline during substitutions to get a Delay of Game penalty lmao. One of the most sorry fanbases out there.
One of the great classics. Will be remembered for decades!!
Glad GA bulldogs won and this is the greatest game ever and is the best college football game of the year and I will keep this in my memory
