Two missed FGs, one botched FG, and three interceptions. Tough to beat a good team like TAM with mistakes like that. Nuss only completed 50%, with the three INTs. Not good. 405 passing yards essentially for nought.
Most of those yards were YAC after missed tackles or comebacks on broken plays where Nuss would throw short and the WR would come back under the safeties. Anything to the edges deep was covered well. what a move putting reed in was. kid absolutely lit up the game, what a performance
That beautiful pass by reed would make him the starter if he could be consistent with that. What a throw.
This.. is why college football is so amazing
As a tiger fan, hats off to Texas A&M. Yall played a heck of a game - congrats on the win.
That might’ve been one of the biggest chokes lsu has ever done
Especially those picks by that cocky QB
Missed field goals for starters, and throwing interceptions by LSU just took the wind out of them.
It was not a choke job if you had watch da hole game then you would know LSU should have never had been up 17-7 da score did not reflect wat was going on
@@N.O.4LIFE LSU should been up at least 23-7 in the first half. Even more if not for two dropped touchdowns. LSU lost this game from the moment they settled to run out the clock at then end of the first half. Then Nussmeier handed A&M three easy scores
@@ThelegendTMCLSU scored TD off a fumble and short field. Then they scored a TD on a 75yd play after a weak facemask call on 3rd and long for two players that had nothing to do with the play. On their own LSU couldn’t seem to close in the red zone. A&M made halftime adjustments on defense and dominated the second half. Reed made them pay. That’s how I saw the game.
Also since when is a 50 yrd field goal automatic points we shouldn’t miss? Ask Bama about long field goals.
Reed is a firecracker..if hes a single guy after this game it will be really easy for him to find a date
He's got the world by the tail that's for sure!
LSU fans needed this slice of humble pie.
How bout you humble on deeze nuts
Their o-line was getting sliced up later in the game too😭
LSU players needed the whole pie.
I wasn't aware of any trash talking. Especially when we're rebuilding our defense and just lost our best defensive player. But we were trending upward. Unless someone else initiated the trash talk.
@@tremoore9831 nah these other fans hate us and want to see us fail but instead of just cheering that they gotta act like they got a reason other than hate. There’s plenty team I hate and I’m rooting for their downfall and I can admit that. A&M better be thankful that they have a QB that they could bench their starter for, I wish we did
With this win, this makes the Lone Star Showdown against the Longhorns on November 30 much more exciting. Gig 'Em Aggies!!!
SECOND HALFS ADJUSTMENTS BY MIKE ELKO AND THE AGGIES WON THE GAME FOR A&M 💯! LSU WON THE FIRST HALF AND A&M WON THE SECOND HALF AND THE GAME DUE TO MAKING THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS! IN MIKE ELKO'S FIRST SEASON THE AGGIES ARE 7-1 SOMETHING THAT JIMBO F NEVER DID!
Bruh why is you yelling💀
Another Money Marcel masterclass🗣Way to take over the game💯GIG EM👍🏾👍🏾
EA College Football 25 better give some guys some really good cards like Dj mays, Marcell Reed, and Le’Veon Moss
The second after the pick in the 3rd and Reed was finally put in, everyone in the stadium knew the game was over.
You could just hear the momentum totally shift. By the 4th, Reed must’ve had atleast 100,000 people chanting his name.
Another Brian Kelly special. The dude just fails time and time again on the big stage. CONSTANTLY outcoached. Also....24 TOTAL yards rushing? GL winning with that.
LSU has not had a running game all year. Also their run defense is MIA.
Can’t blame the coach when the qb makes some of the worst decision making ever
@@GeauxTigers-81 i can when the clock management is trash. The in game adjustments, or lack thereof are trash, and the play calling is one dimensional and trash. Starts with the hc
Quarterback loss that game those picks was terrible!!! At least 2 of them was
The loss was a team effort. Poor decisions from the coaching staff down to the quarterback. Defense is too focused on making “big hits,” other than #14 with his beautiful pickup, to make fundamental tackles.
I have been watching Aggie football and college football in general since i was old enough to care about football (the first game i remember watching was A&M beating OU in 2002) and i have never seen a momentum shift like that
Thank God A&M took weigman out. Dude was playing like trash and looked defeated before we even got to halftime. Putting Reed in is what won the game 💯👌
How about giving it up for the Aggie defense. Holding LSU to (missed) field goals was a big key to victory.
That's really how yall won....technically we gave yall that Game.
Marcel Reed is the man. BTHO LSU WHOOP!!!
I got to sit directly behind the field goal the atmosphere was amazing
The LSU QB is a terrible decision maker, it wasnt just with those 3 ints(even tho thats what lost the game and the terrible defense), but the wildly inaccurate dangerous throws were plane stupid, LSU aint winning a natty with a QB like that under center.
Great point, and you're totally correct
Very reckless throws, very readable
Terrible decisions, or one of the best defenses in college football? I'll take the latter.
@@Physics_Dudeboth can be true. He was carving up A&am in the first half with quick reads and had some beautiful throws. 2nd half they took away his first read and was left guessing through his progressions and u could see he was making horrible decisions trying to play hero ball
Seems like once the A&M defense shakes him up, Nussmeier panics. That 3rd INT was proof. Defender standing right in front of the receiver and he threw it anyway.
I was there and it was a great game. All respect to LSU! See y’all in the valley next year.🤞
Thank you A&M!
This was a hard one. We couldn't adjust to the QB change. And our gun slinger had a bad. Congrats to A&M!
Your gun slinger is below average
@@desieltv163Show some class and accept the compliment.
@desieltv163 I don't know what you're attempting to do or what your goal is... but I don't care about your opinion about our QB. Luckily, OUR QB isn't YOUR problem. What a day and age we live in when a top 10 QB in passing yards is below average. I'll ride with my guy.
@@tremoore9831 🤣🤣 that’s all I can do
@@tremoore9831 what a day in age we live in where we praise QB who clearly isn’t good but okay keep dreaming that he’s top 10
I guess Texas A&M is for real, after all 🤷.
If they don't blow it against South Carolina next week it's very likely they'll be in the SEC championship game. Either against Texas or Georgia most likely.
as long as they play the right qb. he saved that game single handedly.
Never seen an offensive targeting call. Wasn’t even a blindside block
Had trouble with this call too. The free safety, by definition and in this one play, can see all 21 other players. In my mind, the free safety is the one player that is never “defenseless,” the underlying premise for the penalty.
As a graduate of A&M, I can at least remove my "homer" glasses and clearly see what that was targeting. It was a classless act. Only 'bama players act like that.
@@Physics_Dudehave you ever played football. This was considered a badass block when I played football.
@@Physics_DudeI can agree with the targeting part of it but to call that a blindside was weak. I know that's splitting hairs arguing about technicalities, but still. The block itself on paper was clean IF he wouldn't have lead with his helmet, just the execution was off.
Kinda same. I can agree with the targeting aspect of it cuz he was going for dude's head
But the block itself, like on paper, was clean to me.
The Aggies are looking scary down the stretch!
This better give a&m that number 8 spot. If i see anything less, im suing the ncaa board
Texas not gonna fair well against the Aggies end of season.
I thought we were about to whoop em but now it’s looking different.
The minute Marcel Reed touched the field he put on a Heisman display. We haven’t seen a player like this since Johnny Football.
Talk about recency bias. He's played other games and has done pretty poorly in all but Florida. Only reason it worked is because 3 reasons: He started every drive inside LSU red zone, LSU prepared 0 for him, Nuss 1st and later INT handed him 500% momentum. He was handed lightnening in a bottle. All the perfect scenario's were tee'd up with a driver for him. There's a reason he has done poorly every game outside tonight and UF. Never let recency bias sway thinking.
Johnny Football never deserved the Heisman Trophy. He was involved in a bar fight during his freshman year in College Station when his white friend made racist slurs towards a black patron. The Heisman qualifications include character. He had NONE. This 1990 grad is still embarrassed by Johnny Football. What a classless act.

11:05 that call weak. ITS FOOTBALL. 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah I’ve never seen a blindside block called on a receiver who blocked him straight up 😂
@@MegaBren12345 - just because the Safety is clueless and doesn't know where the ball is, doesn't mean it's a blindside block.
fun fact - the back judge who called that is a longhorn fan with lots of longhorn photos on his Insta.
@MegaBren12345 I know right, it's getting ridiculous
Marcel Reed looking like Lamar Jackson
Rs bro I said that too
He's a more dangerous runner than Jackson
@@cliffordhill2365 No he isn't. He average 5 YPC. He was tee'd up with a driver on an easy par 3 with a masseuse. I mean started every drive inside LSU 20. LSU prepared 0 for him. He had all momentum on his back because Nuss threw terrible INTs. Check out his other game stats.
All I know is that LSU had no answers for him. You can put whatever spin you want on it
@@DL-fl5ulyou big mad
As a Arkansas fan so glad the aggies won, cant stand LSU ,good game aggies
LSU if yall struggle with QBs who can run… you’re in for a rough night against Bama. Gotta fix that
Depends on which version of Bama shows up. They've played terrible on the road this season.
A&M. 1st in the SEC. Like I said last week. Sorry LSU kids.
I watched this live and 3 times post game already great content
Wow A&M , has a great team !
I was yelling for A&M to put in Reed, and boy was I right! LSU was not ready for him… or should I say reedy? Good game nonetheless
Same here!
@@dominotruth the tailgate I was at went WILD when we saw Reed coming in.
i’ve never seen someone run the read option so well as Marcel Reed. like bro.. that is pure wizard work the way he’s selling it and riding it out (No Diddy)
And to think the LSU QB, you said that Kyle Field wasn’t as tough of a place to play. It certainly looked like it was tonight.
Nussmeyer with the foot in mouth disease.
Looking like Lamar Jackson, I thought nobody read option (late) pull like Lamar.

Don’t make the mistakes a lot of teams made ignoring Lamar Jackson during the 1st 31 picks.
Notre Dame’s Week 1 victory against A&M keeps getting better. The Aggies are night and day better under Elmo than Jimbo.
The Refs didn’t help LSU win tonight lol 😂. Go Gamecocks 🐔🐔🤙🏾
They tried, there were some calls out of freaking nowhere.
Yep! We're still mad about that game!
They called back a touchdown, ejected a player, and missed 3 late hit / unnecessary roughness penalties. OUR WR GOT SUPLEXED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF but what do they do? 😴🧑🦯. Refs were working for LSU.
go gamecocks and beat A&M
Huge win for A&M.
That was NOT a blindside block. Got penalized for blocking too hard hahaha
IMO there are no "defenseless" defenders. Unless it was clipping or from behind, if you didn't see it coming, too bad, you're in the wrong game.
@@littlebeardedjediexactly. That defenseless defender (how it makes sense to say that idk) would’ve made the tackle if he wasn’t blocked. Stupid officiating
First facemask-to-facemask blindside block in history 😅
if the safety is going to be a bystander, he needs to get off the field. More ridiculous was the ESPN "rules expert" glazing all over LSU all night and on the "targeting" call. had to turn off the biased and utterly clueless ESPN crew (play by play guy couldn't keep up with Reed - had no idea where the ball was 1/2 the time). Fortunately we had the skycam where you don't have to listen to these morons.
Reed just adds way more dynamics to the offense vs Wegman. It’s like night and day in comparison to the offense reaction and what they can do
Texas A&M both QBs combined 8 passes and LSU couldn’t stop the RUN all night long 😂😂😂😂
Someone needs to tell these QBs to stop throwing shade at Kyle field lol
I think that’s 4 straight losses for LSU @ Kyle field now
Thank you everyone who picked LSU
What a game!
Mannnnnn I had work during this game so I was unable to watch it live…. THIS GAME WAS INSANE
Reed made a fool out of LSU. He tore they as up. BK say they had a run qb defense but it wasnt good enough for Reed.
first time A&M is 5-0 in SEC play ever. we obviously know why that is. because every year prior to them joining, they had to play Alabama and Auburn (when good) in the SEC West. if they played Alabama this year, they probably beat them. if they played every team in the SEC West this year, they probably go undefeated.
Well… Alabama and Auburn also had to play T AM so I don’t see your point.
i dont get what you are trying to say here

Texas football is just different....
LSU is 10-4 against Texas A&M since 2000, and LSU is 2-0 vs Texas since 2000 😂😂😂😂😂
@DL-fl5ul Just FYI, it universally accepted that Texas is the mecca of football. That's why they make movies over the football culture in Texas, that's why the most top 100 hs recruits come out of Texas and that's why Texas has the most NFL players in terms of the overall population and per capita.

act like Reed didn't carry that team on his back. dude won that game with his own hands (or should I say feet)
as a texas fan, texas a&m genuinely looks better than texas at this moment.
We have to get our O-line in check. I don’t think Ewers is fully recovered from that injury and he doesn’t do good under pressure.
I can’t stand Brian Kelly he never blitzes and always calls the same plays over and over again
you could have stopped at "I can't stand Brian Kelly".
He blitzed a LOT at Weigman, that's why he never had time to throw. But when put on their heels waiting for the read option to materialize, the Aggie OL was in their faces pushing them back. Having to wait to read the QB (instead of assigning and tackling him) doomed LSU.
The all black is clean!
Yes sir Texas a&m
While Marcel Reed injected this team with some fire to get us rolling, let’s all take a chance to appreciate BJ Mayes 2 INTs. Those were true momentum swingers that set the tone for our comeback. He was baiting Nuss into mistakes all second half. He should be starting at corner if he isn’t already. BJ “My Ball” Mayes is a ballhawk. Glad he was given an opportunity to come over from UAB. Diamond in the rough. Glad to have you, Mr. Mayes!
Those 4 field goals made such a difference
Mike Elko masterclass in 2nd half and Brian Kelly flunked out
15:25 bro is not will levis
Two missed FGs, one botched FG, and three interceptions. Tough to beat a good team like TAM with mistakes like that. Nuss only completed 50%, with the three INTs. Not good. 405 passing yards essentially for nought.
Most of those yards were YAC after missed tackles or comebacks on broken plays where Nuss would throw short and the WR would come back under the safeties. Anything to the edges deep was covered well. A couple of sideline digs worked, but not much else.
24 total yards rushing and 23 of those were on the first FG drive.
that is the craziest game and for sure the loudest and most emotional I have ever been to. Gig'em
LSU's coaching in the 2nd half was beyond pathetic. Out coached plain and simple.
Refs were doing loads for LSU too. How do you eject a guy for a blindside block when he is facing right at him yet do nothing when our WR got suplexed by the defender?
