One of the biggest emotional rollercoasters I ever experienced while attending A&M. My seats were first deck in front of the end zone where all of OT was played. We even had the LSU fan section right next to us. Despite standing the entire duration of the game (Aggie tradition) my legs never felt better when sprinting past the opposing fans to rush the field after the big win. The goosebumps I felt while thousands of students locked in with one another to sing the War Hymn on the field is something I will carry to the grave. Insanity! More points scored in all those OTs than in regulation.
Never seen anything like this.
146 combined points by both teams, utilizing 60 minutes of timed ball, plus, IMO, a record 7 overtimes. No question, this was the game of the year.
I was at this game. I’m a diehard aggie; this was a must win for our program under Jimbo 👍🏼
Damn, that's awesome!
Gig em
Hopefully ya'll win your bowl game. Gig'em from a Noles fan. Jimbo is not perfect but he's a damn good coach.
This is Jimbo's signature win as an A&M coach. Gig'em.
Even though I'm a UT fan, I really hope Jimbo works out for y'all (seems like he's doing a pretty good job so far!)
I was there. Went to the bathroom and the score was 35-28, came back and it was 54-52! No lie
I thought this game would go to 90 points but 70 is a lot for the SEC rivalry game
70 is alot for any team lmao
Pfft. If that were to happen, I bet that game would have 13 overtimes.
Not a rivalry game
Sports Inc. it’s A&M’s biggest rival and has been since joining the SEC
Mason Brooks no it’s not it’s Arkansas
hell of a game
Imagine being an LSU fan, sitting through that whole exciting game, just to go home with an L.
Tom Erwin imagine being a fan of a losing team every year.
Brandon R *triggered*
We were robbed it's okay I'll sleep better. We'll defeat A&M next year and still have better programs
Unfortunately, I don't have to imagine.
Brandon R Imagine being a Florida State fan right now
When you play on rookie mode with a friend
One of the biggest emotional rollercoasters I ever experienced while attending A&M. My seats were first deck in front of the end zone where all of OT was played. We even had the LSU fan section right next to us. Despite standing the entire duration of the game (Aggie tradition) my legs never felt better when sprinting past the opposing fans to rush the field after the big win. The goosebumps I felt while thousands of students locked in with one another to sing the War Hymn on the field is something I will carry to the grave. While A&M may not be the perfect school it sure as hell is a special place.
Imagine if Gus “GOAT” Johnson called this game…
Sports Inc. He would’ve lost his voice by the 5th OT
Sports Inc. Yes that would have been a million times better
GOOFY THANOS his head would explode
I had a nickname for Joe Burrow in 2018, I called him "Big Throw Joe" it was a joke because of how hard it was to watch the LSU offense at the time.
Little did I know that he would actually become that
Game of the decade. Set a record for the most overtimes and the most points scored in a single game of football. I remember this one, my first year in aggieland and man what a nail biter. There won't be another like this in our lifetime, or your grandkids lifetime ❤❤
When you can have 4 loses and still be ranked
By the end of the year, most teams ranked 20-25 have 4 losses
They played 3 top 2 teams that season
This is how you execute the most bonkers college football game ever.
Forget 70-0 blowouts or the Rams-Chiefs game; THIS is college football at its absolute finest!
Best football game I’ve ever seen!
I still remember staying up late, being like “will this game ever end?!??”
Many of u will say im a bandwagon but I'm not I really love a and m and want to go to a game but my family lacks money and seeing this makes me happy af and GIG EM!!!
Vincent Azcarate If you ever get the chance, go. Its an experience that youll never forget.
@@connerbennett5511 if I do I will and thanks
Official Conzics_ yes i went yesterday
the amount of pressure on these kickers after the tds to deliver and keep the game alive… i could never
the defence is unbelievable.
Wonder how practice was after that game for both those teams defenses?
That film room session was prolly Wildin 💀
I remember watching this game, it started at like 7 and ended at 12.
You forgot about Georgia Tech vs Cumberland
I mean how could you forget a 222-0 blowout
That’s not a typo btw
No it’s was a story about the OG Boy himself. Look up the game, it’s an interesting story.
@@eIbowRBLX I know I also watched the Jon Bois video too
@@clintmatthews3500 So basically minor league baseball players dressed up as cumberland players and beat Georgia tech 22-0 in baseball. The coach of GA tech's football team (John Heisman) decided that his team would try to score as many points as possible in a game against their first opponent, which happened to be Cumberland. The Cumberland players ended up being mostly law students.
Can’t imagine if every football game was like this...
This made me respect A&M I’m an LSU fan and that was fun to watch standing for a whole 7 overtime’s rogers just couldn’t drop the ball he caught it every way he could
Seeing a game score this high in football is like seeing a unicorn, a faithful beautiful girl or a dunk in an WNBA game
Can't wait for the 'A Game to Remember' video of this. This is such a historic game, definitely one of the greatest of all time. GIG'EM AGGIES.
I remember staying up wayy late that Saturday and going to church in sunday still in shock of how crazy a game that was.
This is how the score looks in most six man games
Yep
Six man so exciting
DEFENSE: Have left the chat
still the best college football game i’ve ever watched live, went on until like 10:30 that night
Imagine how the defense coaches felt like the entire game.
For all the upset LSU fans (like me), be happy that the Saints are having a great year
and then y'all lose to the cowgirls
Cowboys have a good line and I’ll give them that win, but the Saints are still one of the best if not the best team in the league
Well... sorry
TooCool4Life well fucking hell shit fuck
F
This is the craziest damn thing I've ever seen. The games where no defense is either side is always exciting.
From the first touchdown.. Little did the fans know. This would be one of the most exiting and highest scoring football game to ever be played! History. On another note my buckeyes would handle both of these teams because obviously defense is not a thing lol
"Your" Buckeyes gave up 51 points to Maryland and 49 to Purdue. Go D!!
@@avvocato5543 And they put 62 points on the "number 1" defense in the country. No D!!
You mean the buckeyes that lost to Purdue those buckeyes😂😂
I kno you feel dumb now 😂😂
The good old black eyes lead by urban liar, what's that Zek you hit a woman that's ok you should be hanging out with the OC instead of the DC
“So I should be able to get to bed by 10:30-“
7th Overtime: Not a chance.
Yeah I remember that game starting around I think 8 or 9pm and ending around 1 or 2am cst. That was wild times.
This was the last time burrow lost a college football game
Just imagine the crowd wanting to go home after so many overtimes and fought to keep a smile on their face
I was there and by overtime 5, I literally just wanted to leaves and get drunk 😭
It’s interesting watching this game in 2022 after LSU beat Alabama in overtime. In contrast to this game, they didn’t want to have a 6 OT shootout, so they just went for the 2 point conversion immediately. It payed off
Number 13 for A&M was pissing me off alllll night cause that was the best performance I had seen from a receiver in forever, he was literally catching everything lol.. he was killing it
