I’m a huge Longhorn fan living in Tennessee, this was the first Texas game I had ever been too and it was definitely something I’ll never forget. What a damn good game, the atmosphere was insane. Even if you’re not a fan of either of these teams I would recommend putting this game on your sports bucket list🤘🏻

For sure. I'm an OU fan who has been to around 15 OU/Texas games. Of course, we always want to win, but it really doesn't spoil it too much when we lose. Texas is our main rival but we also secretly respect them more than anyone in the Big 12. Texas is the better state and we know it so we take beating them in Football super seriously lol. OU fans and Texas fans are both really rowdy but are ultimately pretty cool towards each other, with minor outliers who paint a bad picture. ANY football fan, even if they weren't a fan of either team, would have a great time at this game.

You already know this though, the NFL is literally the best of the best. Everyone is elite in the NFL (for the most part).
I see him get run down by linemen and linebackers in the pro's...doesn't look fast at all.

He's on track to pass for 4000 and run for a 1000 in NFL. He'll be the first to do it if so. If that tells you anything about how fast he still is.

As a Texas fan, this game aged me approximately a decade. The comeback by Kyler Murray was unreal; I knew right then that he was winning the Heisman that year. But what a finish!
As a longhorns fan, I look forward to this game every year. More so now that Texas a&m bailed on the big 12. This is one of the better rivalries in college football. Hook em horns

This game was great, but the best Red River game was 2008. The Colt McCoy vs. Sam Bradford head to head matchup. One of the best QB battles ever. Texas was victorious 🤘🏾

I’m a huge longhorn fan this was a rough day for me only because it was my wedding day and was getting married at 4. I told my wife that if Texas lost I was canceling the wedding, I was sweating at chili’s watching dicker the kicker make that game winning field goal!! My whole day was made!! Oh and I only had 30 mins to get to the hall and change before the ceremony because that game took so long.

U have no idea how happy I am that UT is just competitive again... My dad played for UT from 70-73... Biggest UT fan you would ever meet! It was so horrible these past 10 yrs of mediocrity from the Longhorns... My dad passed away last yr on Memorial day. Watching this horns this season makes me very happy & sad at the same time... I know my father would love watching the success they are having this season after the past seasons! When UT lost it was horrible for him, when they win hes so happy! Hes that type of fan who just lives & dies with his team. Its just sad hes not here to see them playing well again! Yet im glad they are back to being a contender! I just wish I could talk to my father about this yrs team.
Then your dad played for Darrell Royal. What a great experience that must have been. Late 60's early 70's was a wonderful era for the Longhorns.
