I’m a huge Longhorn fan living in Tennessee, this was the first Texas game I had ever been too and it was definitely something I’ll never forget. What a damn good game, the atmosphere was insane. Even if you’re not a fan of either of these teams I would recommend putting this game on your sports bucket list🤘🏻
For sure. I'm an OU fan who has been to around 15 OU/Texas games. Of course, we always want to win, but it really doesn't spoil it too much when we lose. Texas is our main rival but we also secretly respect them more than anyone in the Big 12. Texas is the better state and we know it so we take beating them in Football super seriously lol. OU fans and Texas fans are both really rowdy but are ultimately pretty cool towards each other, with minor outliers who paint a bad picture. ANY football fan, even if they weren't a fan of either team, would have a great time at this game.

Oh and I only had 30 mins to get to the hall and change before the ceremony because that game took so long.
This game was great, but the best Red River game was 2008. The Colt McCoy vs. Sam Bradford head to head matchup. One of the best QB battles ever. Texas was victorious 🤘🏾

It was so horrible these past 10 yrs of mediocrity from the Longhorns... My dad passed away last yr on Memorial day. Watching this horns this season makes me very happy & sad at the same time... I know my father would love watching the success they are having this season after the past seasons! When UT lost it was horrible for him, when they win hes so happy!
