Alex Rivas they shouldn’t have thrown it at the goaline though, if you are gonna throw it you should loft it to the back of the endzone kinda like the Santonio Holmes play. Throwing it at the goaline is much more risky.
@Alex Rivas I know its been a bit since you typed this but your wrong. It was 2nd and goal and 26 seconds left. Enough to run two plays at least. 31/32 coaches would have run it right there. Haha.
I had a super bowl party at my house that year. I remember literally everyone left in the 3rd quarter. Granted they all had young kids and needed to get them home, it was understandable, "The game was more or less over." As they slapped me on the back and headed out the door, I was left there on my couch alone, lifelong Pats fan, sitting in disbelief watching this blowout... My neighbor (A Dolphins Fan) came back in 4th quarter after he got kids to bed, grinning ear to ear as he watched the Patriots he hated so much get destroyed!! Beer wasn't doing it anymore, It was time for Whiskey. As the game unfolded, I couldn't sit, I was pacing back and fourth, They scored, FUMBLE!!! then scored again, "The Edelman CATCH"..."they might actually do it, OMG they might F***ing do this." 12-28, 20-28, 26-28, 2 point conversion... HOLY SHIT 28-28... coin toss..... NE gets ball.... We both look at each other, he says "god I hate them, but I would be lying if I didn't admit Brady is the most clutch player to ever play this game, its over, they are going to win." Finally I sat down and watched the final drive of the game in peace. God what an Epic night! Thanks for coming back Mike and sharing that moment with me! #Legendary
I was at my uncles and he told everyone to leave bc he was big upset right around the same time. I went home which is only like a 5 min drive and ended up watching it from home. After the win the whole neighborhood was outside drinking and celebrating. This game definitely feels different as a pats fan but I think everyone that night was left in shock
Alberto Correa and as a giant fan you must be proud that the giants were the only team that could beat the patriots in the super bowl in the last 5 years
I am from Everett Massachusetts(the first city you hit as you go north of Boston) and I left my brother's Super Bowl party to walk to the convenience store 4 blocks away. I was pissed at the Patriots for losing the way they were. When I left the score was 28 to 9. So I walked to the store and puffed a doobie to perhaps make me feel better. As I was walking back smoking my joint i kept on hearing cheering from the houses I passed, and I said to myself "I wonder what's up"?? My phone rang shortly thereafter and it was my cousin calling from my brother's house telling me the Patriots had just tied up the game at 28 to 28. I thought he was fcking with me. He assured me he was not!! I then started to run back to my brother's house. I got there as they were doing the coin toss, and the rest is history😊
I believe the Santonio Holmes catch was the biggest in the Steelers Cards SB because essentially won the game. More on the receiver first making the catch and somehow keeping his feet in and for a td. Great throw by Roethlisberger also putting the vall over three defenders where only his guy could make the play. People forget Holmes dropped a potentual TD pass the pkay before that was much easier. The Edelmon catch was great and Tyree even better but that play was as much or more about Manning's incredible escape of a sack and getting the pass off.
I hate the patriots more than any team but that man is the greatest of all time....I love the fact that he left New England and won it all in Tampa Bay
LMFAO good shit but Thanos is even more overpowered than Tom Brady is so you can't blame em. Plus like Geek said, the war isn't over. Captain America is gonna kill Thanos and save the day.
@@scottb3034Montana? 😂 cmon man Montana ain’t even better than Peyton or Brees we talkin Brady Montana is a legend no doubt but if you wanna make an argument against Tom you’re gonna need a much stronger resume.
@@lvxtu3472 Tom's SB success is the product of his defense and his kicker. Montana has more SB MVPs than Brees and Peyton combined. More MVPs than Brees and as many combined MVPs as Peyton (and Peyton absolutely did not deserve the MVP in the Colts SB win). Montana himself was the highest rated QB in history by the NFL itself..... he was only behind Jerry Rice, Giants LT and Jim Brown (granted it was before Brady won his last few SB). Montana did this all in about 10 effective years. He didn't have 20 years of the greatest system in NFL history for plugging and playing players to back him up. Montana could have won 6 super bowls playing for Belichick and that Patriots factory. I can guarantee he wouldn't have blown either Super Bowl vs the Giants...I mean Montana won all 4 of the Super Bowls he played in. Joe's biggest flaw was durability. Tom Brady: Won his first 3 Super Bowls by 9 combined pts. Each time Adam Viniateri kicked the game winner...the Patriots defense held the Greatest Show on Turf to 17 pts and held the Eagles Offense (with TO and McNabb) to 21. Scored 14 pts IN A LOSS to the NYG and lost out on a perfect season (that's a minus against him)...a team that was averaging like 36 pts a game and had beaten said Giants that season. Lost again to the Giants and scored only 17 this time. Seattle gifted him this Super Bowl by throwing an interception at the 1 yard line (defense once again bailing Tom out). ATL--I'll give him his due on this one. This is the 1st one so far he actually won himself with no help from the defense really. Tom played pretty good against Philly as well, defense failed him. Rams part II: Only the lowest scoring SB ever. Tom mustered 13 pts...but could have won with only 6 since his defense held the Rams to 3. Not really the performance of the GOAT. And Bucs super bowl: Thank the Chiefs for not having any OL to protect Mahomes and the defense eating the Chiefs alive. Tom did play statistically well. So that's about 3 SB out of the 10 he played in where he was the MVP or driving force of it. Three total....He had as many in a 20 year span that Joe had in a 10 year span except Joe won his and Brady didn't. Tom should be sending million dollar gifts to his defense and Adam V every year for the rest of his life for their humongous aid in his legacy. It isn't just about statistics on a resume, context has to be added.
I watch this whenever I'm in need of a reminder that when times are at its lowest, DON'T give up, believe in yourself and you might just dig yourself out of a dire situation. Brady=GOAT
@@hxpo6812 I’m a chiefs fan and I understand when they won it was scripted. Getting mahome setup as the face of nfl. It’s sports ENTERTAINMENT. Be real
I had a full house that day. I had so much shade thrown at me. I was the only Patriot fan. I remember telling everybody that I had seen plenty of comebacks under pressure and that the game wasn’t over. This is no doubt the best Superbowl in my list. We miss ya Tom Brady. We miss real football.
I hate to see the Patriots lose. I was at Starbucks not watching it that night and heard we were down over 20 points in the 3rd quarter. I was taping the game at and would not see it if we lost. When I heard it went to overtime, I watched the taped game to see who won.
After this game I said to friends and family: "You could live a hundred lifetimes and never ever see a comeback like this." But last Sunday (Jan 23, 2022) there was a comeback exactly like this. And who engineered that comeback? You guessed it - Tom Brady.
Between this and the 04 Sox, I've been witness to a pair of remarkable comebacks the likes of which we may never see again. The Sox beat the Yankees and Brady got to give Goodell the FU dude, you think we cheat?
The most impressive thing about New England is how Belichick makes adjustments at halftime...time and time again, I've seen them getting handled in the first half only to come out and look like a different team. He could be down 50 points and still come out as calm as can be, knowing they still have a chance, it's really amazing to watch him coach...as much as I hate the pats, I gotta admit that coach is one of the best
Totally agree. I'm a Falcons fan and kept saying to not count the Patriots out once the Falcons jumped out to a huge lead. I knew the Pats would do everything they could to keep the Falcons offense off the field in the second half; and they did exactly that to perfection. The Falcons offense was amazing when they were on the field, but the defense couldn't get off the field in the second half. Even with that said, every Falcons fan I know screamed WTF when they decided to throw the ball after Julio's catch rather than run the ball and kick the winning field goal. Didn't they learn anything after watching the Seahawks mistake?
But he came out and said he made no adjustments in this game.. the only thing that changed from the first half was the tom brady checked down the entire half which led to white having 14 receptions that unheard of for a running back.. Atlanta has no choice but to adjust to cover the running back which opened the middle of the field row Jew Edelman otherwise Atlanta shut there offense down.. The patriots just ran the 2 min offense all half that’s why the won..
Strangely enough, NE's "halftime adjustments" in 2018 weren't very effective, at least compared to prior years. In fact, I think they may have been a better first half team.
@@droptopp3479 true. Seeing Brady absolutely torch the Falcons defense in the 2nd half like that was magical. I don’t know what adjustments they made but Brady and that Patriots offense were on 🔥
I remember watching this with my dad and he left to get on his computer in the second half. I kept running downstairs to him and saying, "The Pats just scored a TD." "They just forced a fumble on Matt Ryan, they have the ball in Falcons territory"... I kept going back to him every few minutes and finally he came upstairs and the rest is history.
I think I lost about 20 years of my life watching this game. If you hate the Pats that is fine but you cannot deny that all of their SB games have been nail biters.
spygate. patriots cheated though to win. Let's not forget that, the cheating scandals will always be next to patriots 5 titles. And tom brady suspended for cheating.
Micheal Carranza. Deflate gate was never proven and if you don’t believe me I will be more than happy to prove to you why it’s bull shit. And that spy gate stuff was not over a super bowl. And every one seems to forget that the jets did the exact same thing. Oh and spy gate. Was a long ass time ago get over it.
Gaven Gaydos Doesn't matter when it happened, it happened, the patriots legacy is cheating. I'm glad I'm not a patriots fan. lol. Deflate gate is real, look at the text messages.
Michael Carranza and? Tom Brady’s provider never confirmed they were real, text messages are easily faked, and another thing, EVERY NFL TEAM CHEATS, the patriots are just focused in on more though because they’ve won 5 super bowl titles, think about it, the Steelers have an amazing team, but why haven’t they won another Super Bowl? Along with the cowboys etc, the patriots are a good team. Accept it. Spygate and deflategate were just scandals started because salty people like you can’t accept the fact that the patriots are a good team.
As a Falcons fan, this game still hurts my heart. Even after all the years. I don’t think I’ll ever get over this. But Tom Brady was incredible and is the GOAT
I feel you man. Losing a Super Bowl is bad enough. To lose it this way is even harder. But I tell you what, the day you finally do win one it will make it that much sweeter.
Man it was a dude at my job n Atlanta tried to unalive his self cause he bet big money on it. They revived em at da hospital. But man it’s crazy I feel bad for u n Atlanta
Brady just retired, and of course I had to come back and watch this gem. Edit: I see many of you had the same idea😉 Edit 2: Tom Brady is back and going for 8👀
@John M I agree and to be honest these offensive coordinators are way smarter than I will ever be about the game. But in the Navy we have this expression "nuking it" whenever someone makes something simple much harder than it needs to be. I just don't understand a 7 step drop when you are already in field goal range or throwing an inside slant on the goal line when you have time for a few plays and one of the best physical running backs in the league who damn near broke enough tackles to get into the end zone on the previous play. Maybe Belichick just intimidates other coaches so they feel they need to be unpredictable. But mental mistakes notwithstanding you have to give the Patriots their due. If you give them even a crack of daylight they can steal the game and they had to make several gutty plays to win this game. I was really impressed with Tom Brady's focus and the fact they never gave up even after going down 28-3 midway through the 3rd quarter. In my opinion many teams lack the mental fortitude to keep their heads in the game after so many things go wrong, but the Patriots kept coming until they finally broke through. Easily one of the best playoff comebacks of all time. I would rank it up there with the Bills comeback with Frank Reich against the Oilers.
Which is why a coin toss shouldn't determine the fate of the game. Both teams should get the ball regardless of one scoring a TD. Or even have them play a timed OT much like a 5th Quarter.
How does it determine the fate of the game? If your defense is not good enough to stop their offense when it mattered, then the other team deserves to win. It is a football game played by football *teams.* That means the whole *team* should be contributing.
Anytime I'm down bad in life I sit and watch these highlights again and remind myself that anything is possible if you never give up. The final 17 min + OT is arguably the most inspiring and motivational portion of sport I have ever seen in my life. I grew up disliking Tom Brady so much but after this game he became one of my personal role models.
People talking about how mahomes was pressured last night. Brady was pressured 23 times in this game just 6 less than 29 that patrick faced. Led a 25 point comeback and put up 34 points.
@@michaelterrell5061 Brady makes people better. He gives 5th round draft picks who are 6th on the depth chart career highlights. Give the credit where it's due. Mahomes is a once in a generation gift to us all, but Tom Brady is Tom Brady. That's an entirely different level.
@@michaelterrell5061 exactly. We’re such an either/or society. They’re both fantastic, but that Brady has entered another plane of football existence is no insult to Mahomes. I guarantee Brady would kill for his natural talent and Mahomes would kill for his wisdom.
Now that my saltiness has mostly passed, this really was a FAIRYTALE type comeback. Like, you literally can’t replicate this in Madden because of Edleman’s catch. Thats IMPOSSIBLE man
and because.. who the hell would constantly throw passes with a lead and 3 minutes left lol biggest coaching choke job ever. Still an unbelievable comeback though.
@@nikes4444 The amount of work to script the NFL would be 10 times more expensive and difficult making it not even worth it, not to mention there's never been a leak. What's more, like the other guy said, the script is TERRIBLE. The viewership is waaaay down. Heads should be rolling. Not only have some of the biggest games been a total bore, **Cough** Super Blow 53 **Cough,** but having the Patriots win 1/3 of all the Super Bowls, and be in 1/2 of all the Super Bowls in the last 18 years is KILLING the sport. AND I'M A PATS FAN! In an ideal world for the NFL, in terms of monetizing fan bases and harvesting viewership based ad revenue, you'd have 8 *NEW* teams in the playoffs, every year. Then, you'd only have 1 team win the Super Bowl every 32 years. That way, the _most_ possible football fans per region could be enticed into viewing the sport. Do you think Cleveland and Detroit have nearly as many fans as they could? How about the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets? All teams with historic and notable eras or players, (for the Bills more painful for the rest) but do you think those teams have gained as many _new_ fans as they could have, in the last 18 years, given that the patriots CRUSH the division, draining all life and hope form those fan bases? The Pats, I would argue, are partly to blame for the decline in NFL viewership. I could come up with far more interesting and elaborate scripts, that would make far more dynamic and engaging regional story lines and narratives, creating mini dynasties and rivalries and peppering them around the country, to make Americans feel like every team truly had a chance, so everyone would wanna watch. Who, outside of New England, not even the largest market, wants to see nothing but the Pats shit on peoples hopes and dreams, year in and year out? It's demoralizing, and it is financial suicide.
Tom’s ability to bring the best out of his whole team was remarkable - James White played an unbelievable 2nd half - Edelman and Danny were as reliable as they ever were - the defense was playing possessed - all systems were a go. What a moment for football. Thank you Tom! Thank you for you for all your years of hard work and dedication to your craft. It was an honor and a privilege.
Time and time again, Brady went to Amendola and he never failed. Amendola is pure clutch. I know Edelman is absolutely great as well, I just think Amendola needs more credit for what he does. He had some great catches in this game.
He would have went to Edelman more, but he was double covered most of the game because the Falcons didn't need to contend with Gronk. So Amendola was left open and he was the definition of clutch.
And they let him walk without an offer.dola was $$$$$$ in the playoffs always there for a big 3rd down conversion/td gonna miss him.you know hes gonna kill it when he plays us this year
As a Pats fan... I revisit videos like this one when I'm having a bad day. Feel blessed we have so many moments to choose from.... but this one is hands down the best.
anyone who is a falcons fan, is not surprised by it. Falcons were never a 2nd half team and Brady always was. Regardless, was insane to watch like 2021 playoffs with Bucs and Rams
Hey people,I've been watching football since the early 1980s.....I watched Montana through the glory years & always believed he was the best.I feel that Brady has surpassed Montana as the greatest.I feel there has been greater, physically gifted QBs(Elway),best pure passer(Marino)great accuracy(Aikman),etc, but,if I need one QB to win the game,I take Brady. And this is coming from a die-hard 1985 Chicago Bears fan.
Ironworker Jeff good analysis but i disagree with elway being the best pure passer, i feel like rodgers is the best pure passer and the only thing elway has is power, and you cant teach arm power
As a Michigan alum, I am a huge Brady fan. I rewatch this about once a year. This was absolutely incredible. It's one of those events that I can tell you where I was and who I was with when it happened.
@bone-snypa football is a team sport idiot. Team effort. Brady is the best QB ever because he leads the team to success. Regardless of whatever other parts of the team are good, he makes the whole environment and mentality click as well as execute the offense to score 34 points. Keep hating and being ignorant
Considering the enormity of the game, this has to be considered the greatest comeback in sports history. To me, this is the game that truly cemented Brady as the GOAT. I believe he elevated his game to a level never seen before by any quarterback ever. His super human effort to will his team to a win was beyond incredible. And imagine, 198 players were taken before him in the draft. Unbelievable!
100% this is the game that cemented what everyone already knew but didn’t wanna admit…Brady’s the GOAT and we may never see someone like him again in our lifetime it’s been a privilege watching him play
@@nobytes2 I think his success in Tampa is just as much of a reflection on Belichick's greatness as it is Brady's. Brady has been successful in spite of Bruce Arians, thanks to the lessons he learned from Belichick (and McDaniels) for 20 straight years.

I wish I could re-live this moment being so bummed to watch my favorite team be blown out. Then almost out of nowhere the Patriots become unstoppable. With an amazing performance by White and one of the greatest catches ever by Edelman. Then the nerves I felt on that OT drive was crazy and finally the Patriots score to win. My house was electric. Going to school the next day and my friends asking why I was wearing my jersey because they turned the game off at 28-3.
Why did your team abandon the run late in the game? Honestly the Falcons were dominating the run game and instead of using that to run out the clock Matt Ryan throws incompletions with plenty of time on the clock
@@enjoyitbro that and snapping the ball with 20 seconds on the play clock. Sorry but this convinced me the NFL was rigged. After Seattle throwing at the 2yd line and this. You wouldn't even do that in a video game, it makes zero sense
dude, you could feel it. OT starts and you knew Brady was about to finish it. I literally had no doubt that brady was about to make one of the most clutch drives of all time. After that comeback, what do you think is running through that defense's minds? Like, "oh, don't worry guys, they just made a 25 point comeback, and we are defending against one of the greatest QBs of all time who just happens to be nicknamed the "comeback kid." Nah we're fine.
I mean, I hate the Patriots and Tom Brady but you simply couldn't have watched this game and not come to the conclusion that he is, in fact, the greatest QB ever.
I was watching with a couple of dolphins fans. They were having a great time for most of the game, but once James White scored the final touchdown of regulation they left. They didn’t even wait for the 2 point attempt. They’ve watched Brady destroy their team for years and they could recognize that the game was already over.
demerit5 I'm a Patriots fan and I couldn't disagree more friend. I use to be a viewer of porn and now being a Christian, I understand the corrosive effect it can have on a humans soul. Not to mention you sin againsf God every time you watch it... in which we deserve death because we all sin against God. Death in this sense means eternal separation from God, which is hell. But God doesnt want anyone to go to hell, so what He did was He became a human being in Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life, obeying the 10 commandments without fail, and ultimately died on a cross. He died on a cross for us, friend. We broke Gods Law and therefore deserving of wrath, but God poured all of that wrath out on Jesus on the cross. Then after He died, He rose from the dead, proving He was the Son of God. If you place your trust in Jesus, God will forgive you of your sins and will grant you eternal life because of what Jesus did for you, not because of any good deed we did. That righteousness Jesus lived out on earth is credited to you, and that makes you pure in Gods sight. God loves you and will never fail you, but you must repent and trust in Jesus bro. Or else you will pay for your own sins, which God came to thi earth so that you WOULDNT have to go thru that. Take this seriously my friend, there is nothing more. important than your eternity. God bless!
And when he is on his deathbed he will look back with regret, wondering why he wasted his time on bullshit instead of focusing on enjoying his life for real

The experience was absolutely magical and I was so overwhelmed and cried singing the National Anthem. Next year, my brother and I will be attending our third final.
@sidepriest , Firstly, it's lovely to hear from you. I support a team called Wigan Athletic, but they are in a very lower division. Before my Dad passed, my brother and I never missed a match, and for years, we followed the team across the country. If you are interested, you could see a video of Wigan winning the FA Cup final against Man City. It was the best day ever, and I still watch the match. On winning the game, the country was behind us. I also had a dog called Wigan Athletic, and he was with me for eighteen years. Again, thank you for your message! X

@@d1specdrifter Very interesting. So, does the league fixing team get together and tell all the players what to do? And then the players, many of whom have very poor decision making skills, never speak of this to anyone? Very interesting.
That Tom Brady throw to Amendola at around the 50 yard line in OT was possibly my favorite TB12 throw of all time. Tom totally in the zone, just drops it in there, pinpoint accuracy and pure brilliance playing in maybe the biggest game of his life. Dude has ice in his veins. Brady actually threw for a NFL playoff record 212 yards in the 4th quarter (that's beyond insane)
I agree
They were still down 16 with 8 minutes left in the game. Sick.
4th quarter was a passing clinic, Brady dissected that secondary like a brain surgeon!!!

Yes!! Absolutely right!!! He continues to make big plays without making a big fuss!
Mitchell was also clutch(esp. For a rookie)If this year's team wasn't so stacked he'd be getting a lot of hype this season
also just took a pay cut to stay with the team.
Oliver Hart Amendola is made of clutch, been instrumental in the last 2 SB wins
Oliver Hart Dola! Absolutely!
that edelman catch might be the best clutch catch ive seen in the superbowl, not the luckiest, but the best.
saintconnor Def huge, but also, Tyree in SB 42
Tyree was bigger cuz no catch game over if Edelman missed that catch they had more downs
The Edelmon catch was great and Tyree even better but that play was as much or more about Manning's incredible escape of a sack and getting the pass off.
the falcons dropped an interception is what happened and brady lucked out again
Pure magic
Julian Edelmans catch always gives me chills. Grew up watching Brady, this game left me speechless
Me too… My Jules jersey is my favorite. Dad always tells me he was holding me when i was born watching the patriots in December 2001.

I agree Brady hit the super stratosphere
FACT.
brady was responsible for like 2 of the Super Bowls he won, the majority were defensive and ST efforts. Montana is still better in other words.
@@scottb3034Montana? 😂 cmon man Montana ain’t even better than Peyton or Brees we talkin Brady
Montana is a legend no doubt but if you wanna make an argument against Tom you’re gonna need a much stronger resume.
It gave me chills when the announcer said “And Brady tells the world they’re going for 2”
That was badass
Joe Buck is one of the best announcers in my opinion
I watch this whenever I'm in need of a reminder that when times are at its lowest, DON'T give up, believe in yourself and you might just dig yourself out of a dire situation.

I hate to see the Patriots lose. I was at Starbucks not watching it that night and heard we were down over 20 points in the 3rd quarter. I was taping the game at and would not see it if we lost. When I heard it went to overtime, I watched the taped game to see who won.
This was easily the best and most exciting Super Bowl, ever !!!

Cory Lyons Music I don’t know about that. They went down 28-3 8 mins left in the third. Just bad calling in falcons and amazing miracles
Strangely enough, NE's "halftime adjustments" in 2018 weren't very effective, at least compared to prior years. In fact, I think they may have been a better first half team.

nah, alot of things had to happen for them to pull it off
When Hightower stripped that ball and then when you're recovered you knew exactly what was going to happen

Absolutely. 4 minutes to play and already in field goal range. Three straight runs and kick the field goal to ice the game.

Or even have them play a timed OT much like a 5th Quarter.
it was over the moment Freeman missed that block.
How does it determine the fate of the game? If your defense is not good enough to stop their offense when it mattered, then the other team deserves to win. It is a football game played by football *teams.* That means the whole *team* should be contributing.

He would have went to Edelman more, but he was double covered most of the game because the Falcons didn't need to contend with Gronk. So Amendola was left open and he was the definition of clutch.

@bone-snypa Yo, it’s a team game!
dude, you could feel it.
Dude, you could SEE it. Atlanta had the game won and they rolled over on purpose.
How so on purpose?
You mean threw the football game?
DUH! Yes, the Falcons threw the game. It was obvious.
Falcons took a dive were paid to lose
For me, this game and comeback Cemented Brady as the GOAT and put all questions about it out the door.
I was there. Absolutely insane. I still can’t believe they won. Watched this replay a hundred times, still defies logic!
I mean, I hate the Patriots and Tom Brady but you simply couldn't have watched this game and not come to the conclusion that he is, in fact, the greatest QB ever.
Trent Hamilton why you gotta hate when you gotta ask for money from the government?
I have no idea what this means.
He's saying you're on welfare.
Thank you
Not ever. He’s a cheater. Ur calling someone that got caught cheating the best, that doesn’t make sense, right
Ref: "It is heads."
Me: "Game over!"
jpdemer5 lol wen they went to overtime i told my friends if this is the game right here lol if Brady get the ball its over
Joshua James we all knew, as a Pats fan, they are INCREDIBLE
jpdemer5 I actually said that when I saw that
Matt Ryan oh fuck
I was watching with a couple of dolphins fans. They were having a great time for most of the game, but once James White scored the final touchdown of regulation they left. They didn’t even wait for the 2 point attempt. They’ve watched Brady destroy their team for years and they could recognize that the game was already over.
Goosebumps every time... will never forget this super bowl... unbelievable
🐐🐐🐐
I Come back here every now & then. Proud to be from New England. Boston sports are just on another level.
I am just saddened we won’t see this kind of greatness again .
He can go atleast another year I swear

it's more like falcon disaster than anything else. They should never have lost that game
This is like porn if you're a Patriots fan. It's a kick in the balls if you're not a Patriots fan.
demerit5 I'm a Patriots fan and I couldn't disagree more friend. God bless!
Sam, you're an absolute fucking moron.
Eh, he just has a different path in life. In a way I'm jealous of him. He's managed to find what he's passionate about and stick with it.
And when he is on his deathbed he will look back with regret, wondering why he wasted his time on bullshit instead of focusing on enjoying his life for real
i believe Jesus is the Son of GOD and he died for me
This was the best super bowl. I remember being very depressed at the end of the first half.
I still get goosebumps watching this SB. This is by far the best SB in history.
Had to come here after that boring ass game but Brady earned it tho
@@Just_Pele Same! It was tense the entire game! A million point game with a bunch of TD's are boring.
@@Just_Pele exactly bro. Game was damn good. These clowns just expect every game to be 10 touchdown 5 fumble games. Classic defensive game.
Defense? Underthrown passes, poor third down calling and penalities..this wasn't about defense. The offense blew it. The game was terrible, period.
Theres nothing wrong with defence but when a team scores 3 pts in a super bowl thats just kinda sad
Smh at these kids that don't appreciate chess matches
As a dolphins fan I'm not supposed to like the Pat's but to see Tom Brady do his magic was awesome. The greatest comeback by the greatest Quarterback.
That why he the goat he work hard he deserved it why hate him when he work hard to play
Carlos Avila yeah but fuck you for the miami miracle
Thank you for being a reasonable fan. =)
What mágic? This was 100% rigged. If defensive Backs suddenly stop chasin & tackling any pro QB can score a TD.
Lol you're a Dolphins fan.
That catch by Edelman is still the greatest I've ever seen.
Kerby Puckett it's still the greatest catch I've ever seen tho
Nope pure desire, his eyes never left the ball. You make your own luck in the Superbowl
Edelman catch > Jones catch > Tyree catch.
Life in the 413 lol you're crazy if you think Edelman's was better than the Santonio Holmes catch. Not even as good as the New york giants catch
It beats all of them. Sorry but true.
What an emotional ride this game was, went from sad to explosive celebration
Unless you’re a falcons fan, then it went from explosive celebrations to sad (the status quo in Atlanta)
AAYYYY
Who’s here after Brady wins with the bucs?
Yup
Yo

Naaaay Naaay 🐐

I must watch this almost every day!! God I'm so proud to a life long Patriots fan. They are gonna kick some serious ass in 2017!!!!!
Go Pats!!!!

God....DAMN I can't wait till opening season!..Whooo!. Wait till that banner goes up and us Pats fans give it to that POS Roger Goodell!.
He's going be 40 bro
1-2 right now, slow start but man you can still see brady accurate as ever.
Darryl Minaker that was the preseason dude lol
I will never forget where I was during this game. One of the best nights of my life. I'm so lucky to have been able to experience this game at a bar with other fans instead of at home by myself.
UK - The game that made me into a Patriots fan. Since this game, my brother and I travelled to America and saw the next two NFL finals. The experience was absolutely magical and I was so overwhelmed and cried singing the National Anthem. Next year, my brother and I will be attending our third final.
Awesome to hear !
But who’s your team back home? Football ⚽️ I mean
That 15 yard run by Brady in the beginning of the video was overlooked 🐐
When he said “We’re bringing this sucker home!” From the look on his face that had to be one of the most satisfying moments of his career.
@@cornelionsqween8028 Retard alert
I didn't remember Brady threw 2 x 2 pts conversion to tie the game. Such a legend
He threw one to Amendola but the other was a direct snap to White as Brady faked he had it.
Yeah, and they kicked a field goal to make it 28-12. They knew they wore down atl defense and knew they couldn't stop them. Put them right into position for it all. Everything went right.
One of the most amazing Super Bowl finals that will be remembered and unforgettable
It amazes me how anyone could still hate on Brady after this
All part of the nfl script.
@@d1specdrifter very hard to fake emotions likr that. Those are real emotions idc what anyone says

you really wouldnt if you didnt know anything about it
That Tom Brady throw to Amendola at around the 50 yard line in OT was possibly my favorite TB12 throw of all time. Tom totally in the zone, just drops it in there, pinpoint accuracy and pure brilliance playing in maybe the biggest game of his life. Dude has ice in his veins. A lot of these QB's nowadays (cough 'Cam Newton' cough) would shit all over themselves in situations like that.
True. Brady's concentration is the highest I've ever seen in a QB.
Ok I get it u like Brady but do u have to be so cringy about it?😂 “Tom totally in the zone” “just drops it in there” “dude has ice in his veins” like please stop ugh I cringed so hard it gave me physical pain.
Anuja Thakare You shouldn’t be talking. Emojis in RUclips comments?
I’m laughing at this comment 😂😂
That is why Cam is going to retire soon he doesn't stay in the pocket and runs gets hurt and is out for many games
I don't even like American football and I know this is iconic and inspirational. This game made me not me sick of hearing about Tom Brady. I now admire him❤
We all knew it was over when Brady got the ball in overtime
true
We all grew up watching Tom Brady and he gave incredible moments such as this. Congrats on a great career and thank you for giving us something to look forward to every Sunday. GOAT!
And just like that, Brady is going to his 21st playoffs in a row.
Best comeback in Super Bowl history
Mike Raymond nope bills had a 32 point comeback lol (Panthers Fan)
The Legendary Gamer13 nope That wasn’t in the Super Bowl. If you read the comment it says “super bowl history”
*pro sports history
Na, not best in Pro sports history.......Watch Essendon vs North Melbourne 69 point comeback. Aussie Rules. In a sport where winning by 30+ points is considered a massive win.
BoldWittyName nope sox coming back from 0-3 in the pennant fourteen years ago to go 8-0 and break the curse In Louisville. Not only was it the greatest comeback, but the most important and started the greatest feat of all time. Some might have done it the Cubs being the most recent, but none have been down 0-3 to their division rivals and went 8-0 to win it all.
Insane how accurate and strong Brady’s throws were at an old age. He looks like a straight jugs machine out there, he’s the GOAT.
28-3 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd...are u serious falcons?? how is this possible?
LEE BRANDON money
Combination of the Patriots turning it up and the Falcons committing the greatest choke job in superbowl history
Defense was gassed by then.
I know right. It's great. My friend is a falcons fan and I tell him about this everytime I want to shut him up.
Joshua Hart the greatest choke job in Super Bowl history was either Atlanta or Seattle
2:55 you knew Brady was not about to go down without a fight.
Rachel Brown And we found out why he was so sure they were still capable in "Do Your Job 2". They had 3 different 2 point conversion plays ready for this game, so they had the capability to score them, just had to execute.
I felt like TB wanted so badly win this game for his mom, you could see at the end he just collapsed.
🐐
Rachel Brown hell yea
Rachel Brown I
How many people still get chills watching this?
I rewatched this many times and somehow it never really feels the patriots are coming back. Brady is just a darn relentless metronome.
When Julio Jones caught that ball, I just figured it was over since it was such a huge conversion. I'm glad I didn't turn this game off! Best Super Bowl game ever!
CoZm085 I did 😧 it was 4 in the morning where I was and I thought fuck it it's done
CoZm085 looked the next day and the patriots had fucking won smh
Thomas forde lmaooooo I heard of other people showing up hella sad to restaurants next day and had no idea their team had won 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Every Super Bowl with the patriots has been a nail-biter. All 7 of them over these last 2 decades
Thomas forde you guys are blind!! The nfl is rigged comn, he was the first q.v. to come back in the super bowl y’all don’t think it’s funny that every sb there’s always a record being set? I remember this like yesterday. I was so convinced that ATL had it that I decided to go to bed. All I heard was screams. I could NOT believe that happened.🤧 ‼At any point in time, things can turn around. Biggest lesson learnt.
This game cemented Tom Brady as the greatest football player of all time. You may not like it, but it's undeniable.
because the defense played well and Ryan sucks? LOL
@Josh Smith And Ryan taking the worse sack in NFL history
undeniable maybe for you but not in general
Man, that sack + forced fumble, after the new England touchdown, is possibly the most clutch defensive play ever. Not to mention that Edleman catch
I've watched this video maybe 13 times, whenever I'm feeling down, and holy hell does it lift me up
That's what happens when you don't run the ball after a lead
I don't remember the game that much. Are you saying the Falcons could have run out the clock by running and instead, kept passing?
@@buyerofsorts Yes
@@Ziggy_sprague Hey! You're not the same guy! But ok, I'll accept your answer.
@@buyerofsorts Duh, do you know anything about football? 5:04 they had the ball at the 23 yard line with less than 4 min left. All they had to do was run the ball 3 times, kick a field goal, and it would have been impossible for the Patriots to come back from being down by 2 scores. Instead, they try passing it, Ryan runs backwards 15 yards and gets sacked. Next play they have a holding penalty, now they're out of field goal range and forced to punt. It should have been game over after Julio Jones' catch.
@@NATEG01 Duh, do you know anything about not having a superior attitude?

my favorite game of all time. i still remember, half my super bowl party left and went home. I was cleaning up etc. at my house. then the Patriots kept scoring. I just remember giving everybody crap for leaving early. That was a good night
7 super bowls. 7 times he put his team into position to win the game. 2 times his defense let him down. He should be 7-0 in SB's. The GOAT
rtmhrj 6 times, I don't think he did enough overall in the second giants game in my opinion. Still the goat regardless.
he had them ahead with 2 minutes to go, it should have been enough, but the defense couldn't hold
rtmhrj The first giants one you could argue 14 points wasn't enough, but the giants' d-line was just built to beat the patriots offense that year. Still, throw out a couple of the greatest catches ever and you're right
long live the goat tom brady
who was number 11 on patriots that made the amazing insane catch
"To be the best you have to beat the best!" There is nobody close to Tom Brady's achievements in football. The man is an icon. He is the Michael Jordan of basketball.
