Why would you not use it for professional work? I don’t understand the mind frame of limiting yourself based on a camera not being “pro”. Does it produce images you love, does it inspire you to shoot? Will paying clients enjoy it? If yes, use the gear.
I can relate so much! I love my XE4 and I had it checked by Fuji recently and on the way back the courier company lost it. I was devastated and since used gear prices are almost 80% higher than when I bought it new, I almost gave up. Now after 6 weeks my package has reappeared and my baby is back home. I know this sounds pathetic but I really love my XE4.... great video BTW 🙏🏻

The XE4 is unbeatable for the fact that it changes lenses. I'm now using the old Olympus Pen-f glasses on it and it's such a fun experience!

I was able to buy a X-E3 secondhand in January and I’ve taken more photos since owning it than I ever took on the Sony A37 I used for four years prior. Absolutely in love with the imagery straight out of camera as well as playing with the RAW files. The custom film sims are such a blast to play around with, I just wish you could do simulation bracketing with custom sims. Great video and fantastic photos, I hope to visit Japan one day to see what camera stores are like there! 🙏
I was thinking when I go back to Japan I’ll try get my hands on a xe1, 2 or 3 haha I just love them!

Yes me too! You may already know this but you can use the included Fujifilm X RAW Studio to apply any standard or custom recipe to your RAW files later.
I did bite the bullet and bought the X100V. 2 months later purchase the X-E4. I use the X-E4 5 times as much as the X100V. I really love it!! Great video!! Thank you

Great choice dude. I had the x100v and it's great yes but really not all that, not being able to change the lens made me sell it. I got the xe4 now and muchhhhh happier! I highly recommend the 35mm 1.4 :)

I have both - X-E4 and X-pro3, I use much more % of time the X-E4. it just so intuitive to me. Its a great camera.

I love the x-e4. I have the 35mm f/2, 23mm f/2, ttartisans 50mm f/1.2 manual and Viltrox 75mm f/1.2. All great but the 23mm and Viltrox are my most used. The Viltrox is a big boy but it is super sharp wide open and a bokeh beast. And the price is amazing for what you get.

I own an X-E4 with the 23 f2 and the 35 f1.4 R, and a little camera bag that just fits those items with an extra battery. I miss a more versatile and full frame setup for serious work even tho it works, but for casual use, weekends with friends and even parties, it is sooo nice. Really small, very good quality for the size and both lenses make you fall in love with them for their caracter. The 35 is just magic for casual portraits and the 23 has some clean 3d effect and a little wider fov than a "real" 23mm (apsc) which i always missed from this focal length.

I got the X-E4 exactly when it came out simply because it is similar to the x100v (+ changeable lenses). I didn't know it is discontinued until very recently.. I should hold on to it xD. It is very fun to shoot with.

i too wanted to hop on the x100v fun, but couldn’t get my hands on it. I did more research and found the xe4. I bought it on backorder and just received it last march after about a 4+ month wait. probably from the last batch too since it got phased out. SO worth it, I love its versatility and compact size. I’ve just found your channel, so I’m eager to watch through your vids hoping to learn a thing or two 😅

@@CARLO.OBRIEN the xs10 produces beautiful images and the video is smooth for sure… but it feels like a mini DSLR in the hands and honestly, the flip-out screen isn’t really my thing

I just use classic chrome
for me, i chose xt30ii with 23f2 because xe4 was out of stock, and it was rare to get a new one. but i think they are the same, both are good :D anw

@quackquack2878 this has become an urban legend for me. I have the xt20, which is pretty much same size and weight as xt30ii, and I have the xe4 as well. The only difference between them is the hump in the middle. If that qualifies a camera as portable or not, it's a subjective matter. I personally use the same bag for both and I never noticed any difference.
