@@77jamess its only 3 zombies at a time or 6 which is the amount of zombies that appear in re2, the zombies outside are background decorations, try shooting one and they dont react
Still takes me out of the game every time I play the hospital section, and the bodies just explode. Makes me feel like I'm playing some weird ass minigame instead of RE3. I mean, I really enjoyed the rest of the game, but I can't stand that section for cartoonishly exploding zombies.
Brad story was disapointing in this remake, they could develop his character (showing that he is not a coward) and his death from Nemesis hands (not necesesary the same death like in orginal)
Sean Rogers same, when I was a kid that intro would terrorize me cuz I knew everything had gone awry, I was waiting to see that or even see nemesis get dropped in RC but nope, we got random protest footage and a commercial
Yes! Someone besides harecore lore fans understand this. It is a staple of the series, the game and lore. The scene is often used as a background when channels just talk about anything resident evil related news! That's how good it was.
That cut at least makes sense considering RE3 now starts during the initial Outbreak. You walk around with Civilian's still running around. If Carlos had his own campaign though that would have been a good intro for it.
I am disappointed. I just want to say: Hey, Capcom, if you can’t do better than in the original, then at least do the same! Literally reproduce the original using the new graphics engine. Obviously, in 1999, more effort was made.
And strangely, the original was a rush for both the Christmas Holiday and as a last product release on the PS1 as the PS2 was out the following year with about 18 months between Resi 2 and 3.
And they give you 3-4 grenades during that opening stand off with nemesis before the sewers, which is more than enough to stagger him and run without too much difficulty
@@tdproductions3255 I have played him on nightmare mode. If you have the dodge mechanic down, it's not too bad. And really, you only get that free style combat with him for one section. Otherwise it's just boss fights.
Kolby K I can do perfect dodges with my eyes closed now but stage 3 nemesis form is the toughest on nightmare . Inferno nemesis kills you in one hit no matter which version .
@@WHIPTY It's intended that Nemesis misses the first 2 shots. It's a common thing to do in Game Design to make the Player feel like he is the dodge king or just got out of a hot situation, while the game itself misses the shots or gives you an armor boost on your last 20% health for example. Many more cinematic games do that actually, Uncharted for example. Especially that thing where the first shot always misses.
Blue herbs are also gone. It's just shocking how much is cut compared to the original or even the RE2 Remake. What annoys me the most are the lack of puzzles, reduced gore, no ink ribbons, no mutiple endings, no giant spiders and missing locations like the clocktower, park or the cemetery.
Can we talk about the Dead Factory from the original? Here it's just NEST 2 literally -_-' They've only used the asets from RE2 Remake... It's nothing like the original...
To be fair blue herbs were rarely used in the original. I think the only enemy that could poison you in original was spiders and they were very easy to avoid.
Would rather see them just move on from remakes and start making new content, it's been 3 years since RE7 and i'd honestly like to see a follow up on that type of gameplay
Jill sections almost felt like a Boss rush, I ended up exploring more with Carlos, I finished it in 4:12 hours and that was with backtracking to all the lockpick boxes in the city streets and hospitals
They tricked us with the demo. I thought the whole game would have backtracking and puzzles and be challenging and entertaining. We were served a corridor, linear, scripted encounters with nemesis and barely any real encounters with him.
@@armoredp Both are correct. There are a lot of boss battles with Nemesis, but what they meant by lack of Nemesis is on par with RE2 remake, where for a period of time, Mr. X, Nemesis' peer is hunting you throughout the RPD. It's not the boss battle, but the constant threat hanging over your head from a 9 feet tall tyrant. That's what's missing.
The lack of the Grave digger and the Clock Tower was so painful. I said it and I'll say it again, Jill and Carlos are incredible in this game! I just wished we could've seen more of them.
@@littletyke5535 She's not woke at all. She wasn't quite as snappy in the old games, but need I remind you she slapped the fawk out of Carlos in the original when he started having a nervous breakdown.
Resources that could've been used to expand the single player. Project Resistance feels like Umbrella Corp Part Deux. Plus in game loot boxes and microtransactions up to $29.99...
I'm pretty sure it's because they are already working on RE: Revelations 3 and Resident Evil 8, which has been confirmed and it's also confirmed, that they didn't want to wait too long to release RE8 after RE7, so they had to release RE3 now to give us RE8 next year. But yeah, it's a shame, some stuff was cut from RE3:Remake.
The bodies only vanish in the hospital when you’re defending Jill in the sickroom, because zombies will obviously keep spawning and you can’t have hundreds of bodies piled up
SHUT UP SHUT UP!!! No excuses the bodies should NEVER disappear!! Also the whole game should have Nemesis constantly chasing you with a rocket launcher, insta-killing you if you get hit, busting through all doors and even walls! Because THAT would be FUN, I know that because I heard other people say they liked the Mr X sequences! Also no predictable AI either, it must be super AI, constantly outsmarting the player and killing you every 5 seconds! Because I am a neckbeard and I think I am a speedrunner and the only thing important about a game is it's difficulty and I understand game design and this is what fun is people!!! PERIOD.......
I felt like I didn't really see Nemi altogether since I was constantly running away from him (in scripted events), then a couple of hours later he's mutated and that's it...
It really is a let down. This game was not worth sixty bucks. I don't care if they added two online modes. Resident Evil players don't care about online modes. We want a robust and enjoyable single player campaign. Capcom dropped the ball on everyone. The only way to make them get it and do better next time is for everyone to tell them and not buy the game. Buy it at sale price but don't give them sixty dollars for a game that's only worth twenty. Otherwise, you're going to keep getting the same rushed crap.
I don't mind online if it's done right . like re5 and re6 . those online modes were enjoyable . another thing, resistance has a cast no one cares about . would've been smart to include leon, Claire, ada , jill and Carlos for the playable survivors. Smh

After completing the sewers, small gravedigger bossfight will come and after that the actual Nemesis battle on the rooftop with him wielding a flamethrower. After Carlos has gone into rpd, you wake up from destroyed train and head up to the clocktower and burning tentacle nemesis appear. You battle him at the courtyard and after you defeat him you head into the clocktower, Nemesis in his tentacle form resurrects, forces you take shelter from Clocktower and will destroy The main entrance, and starts to stalk you inside of the massive clocktower and you can hear his horrifying footsteps and growl and suddenly nemmy suprises you time to time ready to kill you, while you try to gather resources, doing puzzles, kill some monsters (in the dark candlelighted hallways with REengines visuals...) and move on and survive while trying find another way out from the Clocktower. Eventually you complete the clocktower section and when you try to leave, back to the courtyard, Nemesis appear one more time and mutates into his second form and the bossbattle against him starts normally. When you beat him, he infects you with the T-virus and Carlos comes to help you and carries you into the hospital and gets the vaccine for you. You wake up and you learn that Carlos has gone into hospitals basement, but the heavy door is locked and the only place to find the keycard is in nearby park where the official umbrella employe who helds it has been seen the last time. There, after you have done some exploring, gathered keys, killed bunch of zombies and Hunter gammas etc. You get into the cemetery and cabin where you finally find the keycard from umbrella employes body with suicide note (or murdered hmm.. who knows?) and some little evidence about Nicholais true motives. You leave the cabin and suddenly gravedigger appears from underground and last battle against this f***er is about to begin. You beat Gravedigger and you return into the hospital, use The keycard on The door, go into the basement and after that the game continues normally, except that FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I MISS MY COOLASS CHEESY MR. Peace. (Ps. Sorry english is not my first language).
Nice script. Forgive me if I didn't read correctly or something but I don't think Jill had a reason to go into the clock tower in you're script. In my opinion they could've added the park and possibly the cemetery if they added another Carlos section after the Nemesis clock tower boss fight, you could've played as Carlos trying to find Jill and you have to go through the park and potentially the cemetery in order to get to Jill. Or at least that would've been better than just skipping to Carlos finding Jill and than skipping to the hospital.
@@healthhazard2235 no Carlos indeed finds Jill and carries her Into The hospital and before that after the first tentacle nemesis battle, Jill escapes inside the clocktower, cause Nemesis won't die and starts to chase her. RE3 Reamke looks fine until you compare it to the original RE3 or even RE2 Remake. It's just unavoidable to matter how much you defend and justify it's design choice and setup.
A boy who has been into resident evil growing up this was a huge let down, truth is this is the last mainstream game to be on next gen, and it's terrible, I'm hurt and feel betrayed. Not you Capcom, not you too :(
Nothing Capcom does will ever be enough for the fan base. Just play the original and stop complaining. Everyone begged for a remake of RE3 and when it comes out, all you do is nitpick when in reality it’s a great game. Y’all are impossible to please.
I agree, I think what they should do for the remakes of RE2 and RE3 is to have separate story DLCs for those who want a short quick game as well has put them together with the main story campaigns as a special or extended editions.
I noticed resident evil games be lacking in the story and/or content is cut when Shinji Mikami is not involved. I think that's the problem. Capcom get it together

I was disappointed that the magnum was a desert eagle, instead of a revolver - even though there are two achievements associated with it, that reference Dirty Harry. Also, when I read the article about the toy store mascot's huge head being a safety concern, I thought that shooting it down would be a strategy for getting past Nemesis and that it would be cool to see the head slam into him. So you can imagine my disappointment, when he stole my idea.
Completely unacceptable with all the leaps and bounds in video games we've had in 21 years to have a remake have less content than the original game. Lazy developers.
@@yuugon2120 Rushed? The game development started in 2016, RE 2 remake development started in 2015, lol. The team aren't the same. It is a good game, the price isn't
It's simple, back in the day, developers made games with passion, but gaming has become such a huge business in the last decades that games are more and more unfinished. Also I don't understand how Capcom could have given this game to a different studio to make. I enjoyed the game for what it is, but as a remake it completely failed. It honestly had a huge potential to be much better than RE2 remake, but it sadly isn't
I finished RE3 remake on the weekend. It was my first time jumping into the 3rd Resi game. And granted I really enjoyed the experience, and was satisfied with Nemesis, giving more to the feel of dread. It just felt so lacking in so many areas. I'm left to wonder, 'Wheres the rest of the game?'. Especially after how amazing and satisfying the RE2 remake was. It really leaves an 'On the fence' vibe after completion
One thing we know for sure if the first RE is remade.. again. Capcom will cut out 1/3 of the game, and will omit the spiders and crows and will remove like 3 bosses lol
@@altaiir541 Actually they had a good 10 to 15 years to make a better remake version after the first remake and this 3 year time limit is a sad way to waste when they had enough time to make few more remakes.
it's impossible to fit the clocktower and the park/cemetery into the mainstory by now, it's too late, the map is done already, the park was reduced into that extra small green area by the river and the bridge, and the clocktower as you can see it's too wide to be explored inside
But as a remake I think they should be careful and they should be adding contents, enhancing the game and not cutting contents. They just wanted the money i guess .
@@gejamugamlatsoomanam7716 but it not a good multiplayer, not polished, just made to charge full price, can be fun for someone for at least a month and thats it. Also we never got to visit the RPD as Jill. I remember running up the stairs and then Nemesis jumping through the window with a rocket launcher. Also did The remake show Dario dying?
I can say some more: The original game had some kind of randomizer where sometimes you fight with crows, cerberus or zombies And also, going to some part, we had to fight Nemesis and not in other part For example, if you go to the restaurant with Carlos, you can wait and kill Nemesis again, then go to the apartaments for the other Jewel. But if you don't kill Nemesis a second time, he will appear after you got the Jewel. On the other hand, if you go to the apartaments first, when Nemesis appears you can either select Jump through the window or hide. Same result as in the restaurant but different location and i loved that
When I started on Hardcore mode and observed that ink ribbons weren't required to save, I got really nervous for the quality of this game. It was almost like an omen of how many things were cut out or incomplete.
An easy way most of these problems could have been solved: After Jill is knocked out, instead of skipping everything, let the player take control over Carlos as he is goes back into the city to search for Jill. First part would consist of Carlos strolling around the street, guided by the sound of distant sound of explosions from the Jill vs Nemesis fight. When he gets there, Carlos sees Nemesis trying to kill an unconscious Jill and your main objective now is to distract him, somehow escape him and backtrack to the clocktower. Dump all the cut areas and enemies in that section of the game. Finally, have Mutated Nemesis occasionally patrol some of the wider areas. Make it so he can kill some of the zombies for you while attacking, which would force you to make some high-risk high-reward plays. P.S. This isn't the best fix for the game, but this is the least Capcom could've done with those scrapped areas.
I agree. I actually liked playing as Carlos. He was funny, he was witty, and I liked his relationship more with Jill in comparison to Leon and Ada. Since there was no side A or Side B for this, which is fine if they didn't want to go that route, I think we could have spent more time playing as Carlos. I didn't enjoy just having my imagination put the pieces together after Jill passed out. I thought exploring in the RPD as Carlos was amazing, but the Clocktower was what made the game pretty iconic for me when I first played the original game. It's a shame this wasn't explored, and I am stunned that many articles were floating around even a month ago stating that Raccoon City will be larger and can be explored more. I liked the game, personally, and I can still replay it, but I won't lie and say I wasn't disappointed. Carlos grew on me quickly, and the ONLY thing I can hope for is that we can get a free DLC at least providing another 4 or so hours of content with Carlos. RE7 had Not a Hero for free, and it's not entirely out of the realm to have a free DLC from CapCom at this point. That's the only way I can see this getting redeemed, but I guess we have to sit and wait tight.
ShaoranShirahama she does actually say it except it’s during the scene where nemesis chases you in the subway right before you go to the sewer section.
This is how you demake Resident Evil 3. This remake is so empty and shallow compared to the original that it's a shame new generations of RE fans wont know how really good it was and how a big miss opportunity to make a good return of Nemesis
Feels like they either rushed it or wanted to try something "new". They cut so many things and gave us a free multiplayer game (which is somehow unplayable for me because the mastermind always leaves as soon as he realizes he's loosing btw lol) where i just wish that they would have spent more time making the core game than a multiplayer game. Honestly they should have just cut the multiplayer in general if that would have meant, that we're getting a fully fleshed out RE3 Remake. The City area of Racoon city was so tiny too, 3 streets? Everybody who played the original should have asked themselves "wait...that's it?". I heard they're remaking RE4 now and im a little worried they will cut 50% of the content again...honestly just take your time Capcom, stop rushing games and deliver a great fully fleshed out one. That way you're getting tons of money and we actually get something which is worth our money.
So should I wait till the games cheaper or is it worth the buy ? Aside from it not being a good remake is it worth it for the action? Is the gameplay good overall?
How I would fix it, personally: - Expand Downtown map and sewers, add puzzles, and have Nemesis on constant patrol. - Add the Park, Cemetery, and Clocktower, with puzzles, patrolling Nemesis, and either the Gravedigger, or a Nemesis fight that leads to his first mutation. It honestly kinda sucked that we only got to fight him in his original form once, but in his second form twice. - Expand RPD and NEST, these sections in particular are ridiculously short. - Restore the physics that existed in the RE2 Remake -Mercenaries
Just finished Nightmare, Was though overall, more Enemys & Variety everywhere...especially the last Nemesis Fight! He was almost too easy in Normal & Veteran! RE3R could have been better, agreeing, with most of the points, but I still had fun! Now let's try Inferno!
I was able to beat it in a little over four hours on my second playthrough, and I still collected everything. That's just too short plain and simple. Other than that, it's a solid game overall.
I actually really liked the game but I would've loved if it was a bit longer, like including the clocktower level etc. Also I would've liked to get chased by Nemesis more often similar to Mr. X in RE2 remake. I remember how I was hiding in a store and Nemesis was just starring at me through the window, *that's* scary af and I would've liked to see more of this.
Ooo Gamingbolt, how do I LOVE when a gaming news outlet just flat out says what we players know well instead of just trying to sell us a half baked game or pleasing people that just doesn't know or care. Keep being this honest!
I feel as if people are flipping out because this game isn't fantastic and that is kinda ridiculous. Not every game is a masterpiece especially in a genre as intricate as that of Resident Evil's
I just do not understand why Capcom thought that removing so many features from the original was a good idea if we just have one campaign. As a result, we got a super short game. I was even looking forward to the clock tower too and having Nemesis be as menacing as Mr. X, which he wasn’t. Thank God I got this game for $15.
I finished the game and thought it was a great game! But watching this makes me think how much better it could of been. I somewhat remember playing the original game back in the day when I was 12. I got stuck half way through and stopped playing it. Sold my PlayStation some time later. Wish I could go back and play it now 😞
It took me just over 8 hours to complete my first playthrough. Which isn't bad, but I'm disappointed they cut out the clocktower segment as well as so many puzzles are missing.
It honestly feels like you are just hating it for the sake of hating it. Yes. The length was short but even RE 2 Remake was short. Almost as short as RE 3 because let's be honest there's not much difference between A and B campaigns of RE2. Secondly, why wouldn't they reuse the assets of RE 2 when designing the same places?? Using different assets for the police station would have been stupid considering the fact that Carlos visits the same police station. There's only one thing wrong with it and that's the length but the same problem was with RE 2
The worst part is really just the cut content. I was looking so forward to many of those iconic spots because you want to see a next gen looking Racoon city
Everybody complaining about clocktower and park missing. I missed the Uptown section and collecting things in gas station and new paper office. And the Nemesis with rocket launcher was way to short and should had a boss fight section like with the flamethrower.
2 was probably the best money I’ve spent on a game in a long time. I’ve played that game to death and I was kinda sad I didn’t get that same feeling with 3. It felt like Capcom never meant for it to be as good as 2 but for it basically to skate off the success of 2.
i don’t think you would want nemesis on inferno chasing you constantly that would be frustrating and he would be hard deal with since all his abilities is in the game and if the game was too long wouldn’t the pacing die down I’m not sure what else can you possibly do with re3 remake and the reason no choices or multiple endings are not present is because they wanted to give the true canon storyline and the reason clock tower isn’t in the game because the train doesn’t derail and crash onto the clock tower and it was also heading towards a different area not the clock tower in the original the only reason that was play able area is because that’s where train crashed and also is where they gonna go get rescued by helicopter which was shown earlier Jill was gonna escape but the helicopter mysteriously just gets blown up early on and the drain demose spider looking things make up for the spiders not being in the game and the reason Jill doesn’t go to rpd because Carlos and tyrail is looking for the doctor at least we still get to see the rpd and at least the game did remake themes (unlike re2 remake) and btw nemesis did have scripted moments in the original you knew when he was around and he doesn’t appear everywhere in the original and also the original trilogy was short itself and since this is a remake things could change just like re2 remake i hear no complaining about re2 shitmake and the things that game did which was rush because capcom was lazy which to me the people who did this remake really impressed so if you wanna compare scenes you might as talk about re2 shitmake just sayin... quit hating on the game damn

You’re trying too hard to find a problem with Jill’s wardrobe. Her updated look is keeping up with the times, not out of any PC conspiracy. Sure, the game still takes place in 1998, but we know better now. Jill wouldn’t be fighting zombies in a mini skirt. And besides, she still looks fine as hell.

Not really. Re2 remake also cut out a lot of content. Scenario B in remake is a fucking joke compared to the original. Re2 was just a bigger game than Re3 to begin with.
5:45 I think the Barry ending was dropped because it didn't fit the new narrative and they thought mainstream younger player didn't know who Barry is: he only appeared in RE1 and REV2 after all. For us old fans, he's iconic. For kids who started with RE4 or 5, he's a "Mercenaries Reunited" character at best.
yea all the points you made are valid. about the puzzle part, yea it was painfully trivial easy ones lol. the game is just way too short, i finished it in two sittings literally...
Well to be fair the puzzles were quite ridiculous for a simple lock on a door in a city. Like city hall. If that mechanism existed in real life you bet your ass it would be locked all the time cause all it takes is some asshole to snatch that shit. The puzzles were a bit more realistic as youd expect key based locks or synthisizing the vaccine. In 1 and 2 it makes sense considering the fucked up design choice by spencer and Irons.
The original RE3 was one of my favorite games. The new one just sounds like a shovelware game that someone stuck the RE logo on. Disappointing as hell.
Hopefully they do things right with RE8. RE2 Remake was just so amazing and fun, I logged in 40-50 hours in that game, doing multiply runs on Claire and Leon and their scenario B. They need to do something similar. Small environment, horror focused, slower pace without the big flashy Hollywoodish crap.
Resident evil 3 is my favorite game of all time. I agree with everything on this list for the remake. Some of the things they cut were downright shocking and overwhelmingly heartbreaking. The indoor clock tower portion with its really unique, creepy and challenging puzzles? It was my favorite part of the game and POOF. It’s gone. The gravedigger in the graveyard. The park, the dead factory, live selection with branching paths. The original did such a good job at balancing a more action heavy game with the slow burn and really creepy environments and puzzles. The clock tower specifically did that so well with its weird architecture and weird creepy puzzles . It was fantastic at balancing everything. The remake seems like a hollow shell of what the original was. 3 Remake is still a fun game don’t get me wrong but I can’t believe the cut what made the OG so great and took the entry backward instead of forward.
The original RE3 was my favorite RE game. I was so incredibly excited for this remake. Playing the first hour felt amazing. Then, the rest of the game happened and it was just a huge disappointment. Nemesis feels so underwhelming and I HATED his second form. Then all of the cuts sealed the deal. No clock tower, no park, no graveyard or gravedigger boss. It was shorter than the original, less puzzles than the original, and Nemesis felt way more intimidating in the original. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Thanks Capcom :(.
I agree with everything man. I had super high hopes for this game when it was announced. Thinking re2remake was awesome, can't imagine what re3remake will be like. Then we get... This... Total let down. I didn't even bother picking up my pre order because of this and glad I didn't now. I'm praying they remake code:Veronica since it takes place not long after 3 and before the change to re4. Hopefully they remake it and remake it good like re2remake or better.. Time will tell I guess
Can you imagine how gorgeous the Clocktower and Park levels would have looked in the RE Engine? So disappointed about them being cut. 😔

@Cyberdemon Mike Interesting point. I wonder why, other than performance that they would have downgraded it? Hmmm..

@@arturtherufian3953 well technically we have the choice to kill him as Carlos

I was so disappointed to not see the iconic intro in the remake, I was really looking forward to watching the RPD and SWAT make their last stand.
Sean Rogers true
Sean Rogers same, when I was a kid that intro would terrorize me cuz I knew everything had gone awry, I was waiting to see that or even see nemesis get dropped in RC but nope, we got random protest footage and a commercial
Well very likely they will make a DLC maybe one with Carlos on how he got to the City maybe they will show it?
It wouldn't be called remake, maybe just remaster or maybe we just call it refurbished since is junk
So much more effort. It was just a rushed cash grab. Capcom bent over the fans.
And strangely, the original was a rush for both the Christmas Holiday and as a last product release on the PS1 as the PS2 was out the following year with about 18 months between Resi 2 and 3.
@@Karloss00 Yet the original is still better than the Remake to me.

I don't understand reviewers saying there wasn't enough Nemesis, I honestly thought there was way too much of him.
@@armoredp Both are correct. The game was already short but gamers were expecting them to pad an extra 15 hours
The bodies only vanish in the hospital when you’re defending Jill in the sickroom, because zombies will obviously keep spawning and you can’t have hundreds of bodies piled up

Also we never got to visit the RPD as Jill. I remember running up the stairs and then Nemesis jumping through the window with a rocket launcher. Also did The remake show Dario dying?
I can say some more:
The original game had some kind of randomizer where sometimes you fight with crows, cerberus or zombies
And also, going to some part, we had to fight Nemesis and not in other part
For example, if you go to the restaurant with Carlos, you can wait and kill Nemesis again, then go to the apartaments for the other Jewel.
But if you don't kill Nemesis a second time, he will appear after you got the Jewel.
On the other hand, if you go to the apartaments first, when Nemesis appears you can either select Jump through the window or hide.
Same result as in the restaurant but different location and i loved that
I would have preferred a different look for Nemesis in the third boss fight, not just the same model from the second.
When I started on Hardcore mode and observed that ink ribbons weren't required to save, I got really nervous for the quality of this game. It was almost like an omen of how many things were cut out or incomplete.
Yeah, what was the fucking purpose of that? Ink ribbons are a staple of this series, there's just no excuse for this.
They should had kept the other locations as in the original, and have the Nemesis chase Jill some more before mutating into something else.
An easy way most of these problems could have been solved:
After Jill is knocked out, instead of skipping everything, let the player take control over Carlos as he is goes back into the city to search for Jill.

I wont buy there resident evil again.it went down hill.remake ,they rush both games
Despite all these true criticisms, i enjoyed my time with it
I’m enjoying it rn too. I just wish it was a tad bit longer. Maybe 2-3 hours longer would have been nice at the least. Just disappointed it was short
So should I wait till the games cheaper or is it worth the buy ? Aside from it not being a good remake is it worth it for the action? Is the gameplay good overall?
I'd pay an extra $20 for a full remake at this point. So disappointing.
its hope to see someday some peoples make they own re3 remake outside dammit capcom
You shou've got one for the 60 you paid but you got a bad DBD clone.
@@Ario2547 what's so bad about it?
All we can hope for is a GOOD RE8 and a RE4 reboot.
Hopefully all the backlash capcom gets will inspire them to put effort into re8
How I would fix it, personally:
- Expand Downtown map and sewers, add puzzles, and have Nemesis on constant patrol.
- Restore the physics that existed in the RE2 Remake
-Mercenaries
Ok why the cemetary??? It was literally 1 room
@@SHADOMEGA7569 Because this was the perfect opportunity to expand upon the original game.
Just finished Nightmare, Was though overall, more Enemys & Variety everywhere...especially the last Nemesis Fight! He was almost too easy in Normal & Veteran! RE3R could have been better, agreeing, with most of the points, but I still had fun! Now let's try Inferno!
Can you describe more about more enemies and variety? I'm really interested to know more as I haven't reach that difficulty yet.
Kevin Clement
Probably more in abundance nothing new.
wait I thought you can only get standard, assisted or hardcore?
Kong Fighter there’s two more difficulty settings after hardcore so perks are needed to help out in your survival.
@@OscarG787 oh how do u unlock them do u just need to play the game on hardcore?
They fucked up Brad's death and removed the Clock Tower, the Park, the Cemetery with the Grave Digger, and the Dead Factory.
I was able to beat it in a little over four hours on my second playthrough, and I still collected everything. That's just too short plain and simple. Other than that, it's a solid game overall.
I beat it in an hour 49 mins my second run
The Average Woodsman beat it under 1.5 hours on hardcore on my second playthrough great game but way too short I memorised everything too easily
Reused assets isnt an issue, the original 3rd game reused a bunch of assets
But if it can reuse assets then why can't it create enough of it's own to make a longer game?
They will milk the hatred this will get that's for sure. I'm all for diversity of opinion but sadly many fans and gamers aren't for that at all.
This game was made by people that genuinely did not give a shit about the original RE3. It's pretty obvious.
1-15
Cant get a single match as mastermind even after waiting 24hrs in lobby
The worst part is really just the cut content. I was looking so forward to many of those iconic spots because you want to see a next gen looking Racoon city
This game is so short, you can finish it in 1 hour if you speed run it
Everybody complaining about clocktower and park missing.

It felt like Capcom never meant for it to be as good as 2 but for it basically to skate off the success of 2.
i don’t think you would want nemesis on inferno chasing you constantly that would be frustrating and he would be hard deal with since all his abilities is in the game and if the game was too long wouldn’t the pacing die down I’m not sure what else can you possibly do with re3 remake and the reason no choices or multiple endings are not present is because they wanted to give the true canon storyline and the reason clock tower isn’t in the game because the train doesn’t derail and crash onto the clock tower and it was also heading towards a different area not the clock tower in the original the only reason that was play able area is because that’s where train crashed and also is where they gonna go get rescued by helicopter which was shown earlier Jill was gonna escape but the helicopter mysteriously just gets blown up early on and the drain demose spider looking things make up for the spiders not being in the game and the reason Jill doesn’t go to rpd because Carlos and tyrail is looking for the doctor at least we still get to see the rpd and at least the game did remake themes (unlike re2 remake) and btw nemesis did have scripted moments in the original you knew when he was around and he doesn’t appear everywhere in the original and also the original trilogy was short itself and since this is a remake things could change just like re2 remake i hear no complaining about re2 shitmake and the things that game did which was rush because capcom was lazy which to me the people who did this remake really impressed so if you wanna compare scenes you might as talk about re2 shitmake just sayin... quit hating on the game damn
it's called 'inferno', not 'casual hard'
RussianGuyovich still would’ve been broken
re2 shitmake 😆😆, enjoy your 4 hour gameplay 😘
@@Kiddo_williams
bitch they have invisible enemies in re1 on hardest difficulty, this isn't nothing, you literally have broken dodge mechanic for that where people can knife nemesis on inferno with no upgrades
Yunus Eker re2 shitmake enjoy the poorly portrayed characters here comes sherry”you guys can adopt me we can get a puppy or a parrot” here comes ben “ i was gonna blow a whistle on his dirty ass” here comes Claire “ are you fucking kidding me” I’ll get you you fucker” what about at the end showing her girl power against William when she should be scared how about Leon “ chew on that you overgrown son of a bitch” is this a fucking joke also him being a simp to ada lmao here comes ada her seductive side is gone and isn’t sexy anymore she has a bitchy attitude also what they called the lab they called it the nest i also think it’s funny Leon never questions her just be a total pussy lmao also how poorly done the b scenarios are and the opening and how they skipped the intro in b scenario i could go on but i need sleep
What made the original such a great game:
1)The iconic intro.
2) The Music
3) The atmosphere (Deserted streets, Silence, lonely strolls through streets, the tension)
4) The puzzles
5) The diverse map locations
6) The Mercenaries Mode
7) Large number of weapons and part drops.
8) Multiple endings and alternate choices.
9) Large number of costumes
10) Large number of enemies and boss encounters.
I noticed the gore downgrade! No wonder I couldn't shoot off limbs when zombies where down like in Re2
Hardcore fans had problems with RE2 (2019) but nobody heard the complaints over the casul’s who act like the game is the greatest ever.
The cut content.
The super cut campaign.
The ideas in the concept art that weren't used due to time constraints.
No bonus modes AT ALL.
The missing gore is the worst (because immersion killing=... not the gore per se but the gore mechanics of the zombies falling apart and you can never be sure if they are really dead or not. especially since the game is so short and relies on backtracking. now the zombies are just there... I also cant stand the death animations of the zombies... why can't the just ragdoll to the ground. what is so technicaly difficult about it. they did it in RE2 perfectly. and there aren't even that many more zombies in RE3 on screen.
NO CEMETERY, NO GRAVEDIGGER BOSS, NO PARK,NO BRAD BEING KILLED BY NEMESIS, WEAK PUZZLE SOLVING, SUPER SHORT STORY MODE AND NO MERCENARIES MODE MAKES RE3 REMAKE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!
Never played the og game, but even I was dissapointed how they never included some of the known parts from the original one
When I beat this game a long as time ago, I felt like I won an Olympic gold medal. I had barely enough ammo to defeat nemesis.
When I beat this game yesterday (after only 2 days), I realized I wasted money and should have waited.
This channel is going pretty all in with the hate on RE3 eh.
“It’s a good game overall” literally in the first three seconds of the video. Calling out a game’s issues isn’t ‘hate’ it’s not all black or white.
@@VulturePilot Buddy you're missing my point, they just released a video less than 24 hours ago titled "What the hell happened to Resident Evil 3? We get it, they were dissatisfied with the title, we don't need a video repackaged daily espousing why.

no giant spiders. Me, an arachnophobic, THANK YOU CAPCOM!
Wow Capcom this is disappointing.
If I recalled correctly from the original the reloading tool created enhanced ammo when used multiple times. I was actually looking forward to that rather than just doubling ammo.
I don’t miss the spiders just saying 😂
I don't like spiders either. In my opinion, I'm glad that it's not in the remake. >.
Me neither. Spiders, crows etc. is so minor cut. It didn't bother me in Re2R either. More that bothers me is lack of nemesis except bossbattles (which are cool sure), cut locations and gravedigger and too lack of puzzles.
Pussys lmfao Man up.
Spiders and crows are great creatures in RE history and this new re3 remake have nothing of atmosphere. Its crime to make game like this

This game is nothing more than a cashgrab. No atmisphere, no charm, no badass Jill ect.
1. Dario didn't mention his daughter.
2. Jill didn't explored the city while going to the RPD.
3. Brad wasn't killed by Nemesis.
4. Jill didn't explored the RPD.
5. Jill didn't discover Carlos in the restaurant.
6. Lack of puzzles while exploring the locations of the gems, train battery, and fuse.
7. No gas station exploration.
8. Limited fight scenarios with Nemesis.
9. No tower scene.
10. No 1st helicopter shutdown in the tower.
11. No Nemesis tentacle form.
12. Nicolai wasn't killed.
13. No Magnum ending.
And
14. Barry was missing.
6/10.
And let's not forget the most important of them all; a politically correct Jill. Less boobs, less butt, no sexy outfit, a more manly aspect and a completely different face. Of course, none of this is a problem for PC players.
Dude I fucking hate political correctness and SJW's with a burning passion, but you are trying way too hard to see a pattern here. Her design is merely updated to what is currently considered to be a realistic way a girl would be dressed if she is not going out on a date. And they still added the original costume for preorder, so it is still there.
You’re trying too hard to find a problem with Jill’s wardrobe. Her updated look is keeping up with the times, not out of any PC conspiracy. Sure, the game still takes place in 1998, but we know better now. Jill wouldn’t be fighting zombies in a mini skirt. And besides, she still looks fine as hell.
do you have eyes my dude!!?, have you seen how big her boobs are in the remake !!!??, and her classic isnt that bad, its better thats shes wearing a skort, you want panty shots or something ? there are other places to go see stuff like that.
@@armoredp I'm not trying hard to do anything. It literally took me one second to realize PC was there. PC is everywhere now. Movies, video games, books. Some cases are more evident than others, but it's always there. Hell, even Rambo fought the patriarchy in the last one.
I beat the game in 1 hour and 27 minutes... without trying. I just thought about what "HAD" to be done next and did it without exploring. Too easy. This game should be $30 MAX. I can not justify a $60 price tag.
Corona Virus has replaced T Virus
The whole world portrays the exact picture what we see in resident evil
The only difference is living beings turning into dead instead of zombies
I was playing Dead Rising: Off the record the other day and there was a poster in a corridor with guide lines on staying safe, keeping clean and avoiding large groups.
If you couple the fact that Frank is infected and there's Zombies everywhere with everything going on in the real world at the moment it was rather surreal to say the least. It made playing a bit too real if I'm honest.
Toilet paper zombies
let me add more to this..... nemesis second form was nothing more then using a leftover Birkin G form from resident evil 2 if you played OG 2 birkin turns into a wild 4 legged G monster as you waited for the lift nemesis transformation were the parasite transforming not the tyrant base thus why the aggressive tentacles in og 3, brads death turns from running for his life and being ended by The Nemesis but no we get a push-through bite scene very underwhelming, carlos never got a boss fight (in OG 3 he at least fought nemesis), nemesis final transformation felt more like playing contra rather than resident evil but the music remake was good
Gaming bolt really hate this game...

Every hardcore RE fans agree with Gaming bolt. Why in godsname cut the story content for a multiplayer that nobody gives a damn about🤦♂️
@@solidgaming9815 But I don't, good thing i have open minded.

They hate on everything lol
It’s as if Capcom suddenly has a fear of spiders...
I think re2 set the bar really high. Or re3 was too rushed. This game had sooo much potential
Good video but seemed a little too dark for the fist half. I’d suggest increasing the brightness or choose different footage in future.
That Hollywood crap sells to casual consumers it’s all about the money to Capcom 🙃
Gamingbolt just hyping the hate train
Its boring killing zombies in this, that says alot.
how I hate those theatrical death animations of the zombies after you double tap them when they're on the floor...
Classic nemesis is the most fearsome creature in franchise.new one?i think its not even worth to talk about..
Time will tell I guess
don't forget dead factory replace by nest 2 umbrella lab. crap.
Dark Froyo Yeah man! WTF? A generic ass lab with reused pale head enemies that we already seen in RE2REMAKE?
