Using twiggy cracked tear to pick up runes is frankly speaking amazing. Even if you die before you get to your runes, they'll stay there. Just equip it for the runback, try to recover your runes until you succeed, then go back to your regular tear. Now, although I honestly really like this effect, I've never actually used it. Mostly because I didn't find it in my first playthrough, and I don't really care about rune losses that much.
I've never used it because over the course of several games of dying, I've "gitted good" enough to tend to not die outside of boss rooms, where I'd have a surplus of Twiggy Trees to equip in a Talisman slot instead. In fact, I've never died outside a boss room in all my time playing Elden Ring, and I have 100% completion of the game! The lack of excruciating runbacks in Elden Ring is mostly to thank for this, alongside Torrent and Stakes of Marika being kind of busted awesome tools. The value to a new player on paper, however, cannot be understated. You essentially never lose runes again with this thing, so long as you don't faff about and waste the duration of it, minus during Boss Fights were the Talisman having infinite "duration" _could_ be more beneficial.

I looked at blood stains and used Rainbow Stones to determine if long drops were fatal and what not to do, and I managed to get down to the Frenzied Flame Proscription on my second playthrough (I missed it on my blind first run) on the first try after watching a video talking about where and how to get down there for the Lord of Frenzy ending, otherwise I nailed _most_ of the other jumping puzzles in this game. I never went and got the Dragoncrest Shield +0 from underneath the Bestial Sanctum because I consider it a massive waste of time, by the time I knew it existed I had already obtained the +1 version in the Sainted Hero's Grave. (Again, I was doing a blind run and missed D on my first playthough, meaning I never found the teleport to go there early, and I just never found a reason to want to get it on my second or third playthroughs considering I only ever once equipped the Dragoncrest Greatshield once, when I obtained it in the Haligtree _specifically_ for fighting Malenia.)
1:47 - barring the use of Great Runes, using the Crimsonspill Tear and some Vigor boosting items is the only way to use the Mimic Tear Ashes as a RL1 character. 16:18 - the Winged Crystal tear is also very useful in a RL1 to allow for some heavier armor. Got me through Commander Niall.
I use the Windy Crystal Tear basically all the time. It's really solid, IMO, especially if you're lower-skill like I am and can botch dodges a lot. It's a great help while learning a boss or running a suboptimal build that needs a defensive boost. I typically run with a very defensive physick using Windy and Opaline Hardtear just so I can make more mistakes and not instantly die.
The Knot tears are meant to be used to try out gear you don't meet the stat requirements for in the early-mid game, mostly. They are also good for allowing you to use weapons you're _really_ not supposed to be able to in low level Invasions, one such example being Vyke's War Spear which is stupidly overpowered when it can Madness someone in as little as 2 hits.
I feel like you're underestimating the power of pocket light roll. It's so nice and it makes poor hit boxes like Gaius's charge or Melina's waterfowl dance so much easier to deal with

The health tears are supposed to be one of the first you get. Despite taking the portal to the Beast Clergyman before I even beat Margit in the beginning, I managed to completely miss that church until after beating the fire giant..
I have used windy when fighting those hippos and commander Nial whatever his name was because I really struggle timing the dodge out of their charge attacks. Hitbox being really large or their feet or body has some idk. I think it helps me dodge.

I'll be honest though I've always liked the Xenos factions the best Particularly the Dark Eldar and Necrons. To that end my actual favorite character that I know the lore of is Lilith Hexaprax who I think could absolutely give a primarch a run for their money at the very least. Also Xenos tech is just cool simply put like the anti armor gun for the Dark Eldar is a sniper that fires anti matter bullets, and their space pirate ships as well.

As for lilith, There's not really much that could actually challenge a primarch that wouldn't just defeat it outright, but maybe. The custodes can put up a good show of it, even if they can't beat them, so who knows.

Also their tank is my favorite tank out of literally any faction in terms of aesthetics. She's only been hit once iirc in a fight with Yvraine which pissed her off and made her actually start trying. Following that Lilith handed Yvraine her ass until she brought the Yncarne out of Yvraine like it was an anime fight scene. That's the main reason I think she could hold her own against a primarch. Her lore makes her (and Vect) out to be the primarchs of the Dark Eldar.

Greenburst + Lightning tear is my go-to for PvP. You’ll get nuclear damage on a dex build, and also gain the ability to combo your opponent to fuck while still being able to dodge.
Bloodsucking tear is absolutely broken. If you're faith build you can just use regen incantation to weaken health loss(almost stops it). This tear saved me with consort radahn. One of the best, if not the best in the game.
Windy is basically useless if the eyeframes and damage taken stacked with the crucible feather talisman it might be op but atm its just a feather talisman with a time limit
My only slotted tear is opaline and stam regen.. nothing else cus free defence and stamina regen is just that strong and tbh i am only using the physic on bosses so to me not using it in a pvp senario is not a issue as im seeing this as a "lets go gambling with charged heavies"

I honestly kind of hate that last tear, not because it's bad, but because I think perfect blocking should just be a mechanic on its own. Granted it would have to be weaker than what the tear does, but it would incentivize people doing more calculated blocks than just hiding behind the fingerprint shield forever. Give perfect blocking the same frame times as a parry and have it give a 50% boost to physical damage reduction (so if you had a 50% physical damage reduction already, it would be boosted to 75% not 100%, that would be broken) and have it either increase stability or reduce stamina reduction from blocking by some notable amount, (which I know are kind of the same thing, but also not really in a numbers adjusting sense) and it'd be in a good place, it'd make blocking with weapons not feel totally worthless and would spice up the battlefield a bit.
Maybe if you ever come back to edit this video you could put in some subtitles to remind us what each of the tears do. I know I know, I can watch another video, but there were several here that you forgot to actually say what they do.
Opaline Bubble tear scoring higher than the knot tears is horrendous. Even on high level builds +10 faith or another stat is way more useful than that garbage.
I wouldn't call it garbage, it definitely has its use cases. But I personally use knot-tears way more, so I do agree they're stronger. That's mostly a personal bias to low level characters and hitless play though. Once you're on a high level character you really shouldn't be using either, since better tears exist. Attributes can be leveled or respecced, but for instance a no-conditions 15% damage negation or 20% damage buff to your element cannot be accomplished in just 10 points. Also, a certain perfume performs the job of bubbletear up to 10 times along with a damage buff... and even Ritual Shield along with some regular absorption sources is often enough to survive single hit attacks on RL1 (in base game)

They're also good for enabling buffs and such that you don't have the stats for, but probably only need to cast once per fight anyways
