Hi, Do you place it perpendicular to the joint or an angle is around 60 degree between dowel bar and joint? And explain why you place it like that. Just to add, dowel bar should allow linear defromations(thermal effects) and restrict vertical movements(shear effect - settlements) since ground is going to consolidate during some time and also, you have vertical load above the slab.
I personally believe that the position of beams in a slab depends on a few factors such as the size of the slab, type of slab (whether it's a one-way or two-way slab) etc
The load acting on the slab is also a factor. Remember that in many cases when a beam is provided, columns need to be considered. The nature of load on the slab will determine the depth of the beam that needs to be designed. I hope I have helped in my own little way. Thanks.
Make vedio on road construction step by step,pl
Thanks engineer I gain necessary concept
Big big thankyou sir
Good topic sir..one again thank you soo much
Avoid crack due to thermal expansion
Nice video
U r doing great job brother appreciate u keep going👍👍
Plz explain with pics or video of particular concepts if possible to better understanding to everyone
Good explanation super sir
Nice 😊
This is only for road pavements or for roof slab too
great job
Love from india..❤️🤝

sir please vdo of tie bars also
Nice teaching
Big thankyou sir...
Thanks please please could you do a video on where to provide beams in a slab?

❤❤❤like the video
Are the spacing between dowel bars always have to keep 12" c/c for all cases? Is it depend the length of subjects or not Sir?
Thanks Sir, I need shear strength equation for dowel bar action
Expansion joint or no load transfer joint...
Your accent is so cool #kiddin'
Must be kidding
Any specific angle of placing dowel bars?
What is the maximum slab (width & length) to use dowel bar? And then what is different between dowel bar & tee bar?
Upload vdo about howe to prepared dowel bars plz
Can the dowel bar be used as a rebar in building a concrete block retaining wall?
What is the diameter of Dowel bar?
He said it that the diameter of Dowell bars should be between 1.2 and 1.5 Inches.
Sir can it also use in rcc or only for pcc slabe
Can dowel bar be 1/2 inch to 1 inch?
Sir mathed of dowal bar plz tell about
Sleb 🤔
guys haha
Big big thankyou sir
Sir mathed of dowal bar plz tell about
