The Fanboy tears are priceless. But what's even better is that they have somehow convinced you that changing the plastic in your car was worth an extra 2 grand. LOL
I think one of the goals with dropping the price below $80K was that it would then qualify for the $7500 federal tax credit. Once that gets implemented, are the upgrades worth the difference of $27,500?
Few notes: anyone can sign up for FSD for $100 a month with a non foundation and it would take 6+ years to equal the cost of paying up front. The tactical grey looks better than the white so I prefer to keep the extra $2k. $3500 for the upgraded wheels is nuts. You can get a nicer set of 3rd party wheels and tires for less. You definitely paid a large markup and didn't get 20k worth of added value.
keep in mind Tesla can change the price of the FSD subscription at any time. If they find FSD value increases they could change it from $100 a month to $500 a month. You are not locking any price in by subscribing.
@@jeremyjudkinsyou just did it again. Trying to find any excuse to deny that you lost 20k. Tesla did this to all their customers in every model. Your no exception
Foundation series purchasers should also keep in mind that they had the use of Cybertruck months ahead of now, and some of them used cybertruck to make money (on RUclips, Turo, etc.) There is value in time, which you can’t buy
its crystal clear, new cars and models should be adopted only after they are no longer new. you may even see prices dop down to 39k of cybertruck in future
Another babbling Tesla owner, bottom line is try trading this Foundation truck in and get 60k, there is no self driving stop lying for youtube views, it does not work, its only lane assist.
FSD is only 7k if you ordered it in your initial reservation. Its weird that youre saying the options are included on FS when youre obviously paying extra to get them lol. 7k(FSD) + 3k wheels + 2k white interior is only 12k. (And i personally like the grey better) So 10k. Even if you pull off 2.5k from the 20k upcharge that brings you to 17.5k. All the other accessories can be had for way cheaper on third parties. If you consider the lower interest rate now too, its a big difference. If anyone right now (me) has the option to buy either, no one is going to buy foundation series IMO. The only real difference is the laser etching. There are even other people who chose the all seasons and the grey interior but still payed 100k. Its a tough pill to swallow. And what happens when the tax credits get turned on? 79990 + 7000 - 7500 - 5350 (colorado tax credit) = 74140. Then you buy a set of rims and tires for 5k, your back up to msrp and your truck looks better than foundation series.
Why does Jeremy thinks everyone wants all those extra in the FOundation series? Yeah fanboys would want that but the average Joe are smart with their money. They have a mortgage to pay. They'll be happy with the simple features. You can call the regular tire ugly but other people does not care and does not need to flex.
@@jeremyjudkins Do you ever think about how you bought a truck and continue to pump a guy who is a literal Nazi? Not a fake, "ohhhh that guy is such a Nazi" but a literal real life Nazi? Why is it always guys that look like you that seem to overlook blatant racism, antisemitism, and hatred?
Some people paid 150k and more to get one of these that look pretty much the same and are substantively the same as the ones that were just released at the still delusional price of 67k?! I predicted year 1 depreciation of 40-50k on the retail price, but in reality, it’s going to be closer to 60k at this stage. In fact, imagine paying 150k for a ruck that others struggle to sell a year later at 50k?! Meanwhile, you could buy a perfectly good old truck for 10k that will tow, run well and will serve you well as a tried and tested workhorse.
If I brought the CT as personal vehicle I would have been upset but as a business vehicle the tax write-off is bigger so I’m not upset in the slightest.
Not even worth 50k. EVs are cool, but that truck is such of waste of money. It’s a toy, not a truck. See way too many fellas driving this in the city with their “work from home job” living in an apartment 😅
The Teslas are so cheaply made. They're like a cheap Honda Civic inside with the exception of the computer screen. All the materials are so cheap and rattly and plastic and fall off. I will say the FSD is pretty stinking amazing though. But there's no reason that we feel that we should need it
You can get FSD for $99 a month. How many months do you think you'll actually keep the truck to reap $8,000 back? You would have to keep it for at least 6 5 years just to break even. I highly doubt you'll have that truck for that many years
Why would anybody pay that much money for full self-driving is beyond me? And for you to suggest that Tesla would Go back to charging 15 grand for FSD is really stupid. Why do you think they lowered the price?
I was mad all these people skipped ahead of me in line. I ordered day one. Tesla didn’t do this when I ordered the original model three on day one I was able to get my car immediately when they were available so glad I waited though.

I bought a fantastically amazing mountain bike for $12,000 in 2024. Three days after I bought it, the price dropped by $2000 & it has since dropped to $8,000. It is still an amazing bike & I ride for hours every week & love it. I didn’t get a tax credit from Gavin Newsom & I am not weeping because of the “loss of value”. It does what I want it to do splendidly & I knew then (as I still do) that a new bike loses value. My truck (not a Tesla) has lost value since I bought it. 🤷♂️ If you had put money in the bank a year ago, it would be worth less today. My home has appreciated dramatically through Biden’s reign. But I do not view it as an investment; it is the place that I built with my wife, where I lived with my wife, where I planted my heart. The real question is “how fun is this truck to drive?”
