In regards to the gold colored casting in the front wheelwell, I got my cyber truck foundation series truck on August 30th and it still has the gold color casting
When i go to my cybertruck reservation and attempt to initiate a purchase of a cybertruck, there is no option to transfer my FSD. I'm still holding out for the reinstatement of the $7,500 tax credit.
I'm not eligible for the tax credit. Was waiting for SOME $5K or more value-add to activate one of my 3 CTs. I pulled the trigger 48 hrs ago... within hours of seeing Tesla would let me transfer FSD.
This is a cool comparison between the trims! Personally, I like the look of the grey interior over the white, which is ironic because I LOVE the white interior in the new Model 3 (paired with the red exterior paint).
Regarding Dan’s desire for backup power for his house, you don’t need to plug into the 240 outlet! There is a “whole gadget” (excuse my highly technical terminology) that enables you to have household backup power through the Cybertruck charging cable I believe! It’s like getting a Powerwall installed but your Cybertruck IS the Powerwall. They will install a gateway and other equipment, but a power outage in your house becomes unnoticeable when the power that was charging the CT battery instantly reverses and powers the whole house from the CT battery. Supposedly up to 3 days of power, but of course that depends on your household power usage and the percent of charge of your CT battery. What I like about that is, if your CT battery starts going low from powering your house, you can drive to a Supercharger to fill it back up, then drive home and power your house for another 3 days!
This is an addendum to my post above. The “gadget” is called “PowerShare” which includes a gateway and a two way wall charger, all available from Tesla. The Cybertruck battery is equivalent to 9.4 Powerwalls!!
Hello Joe, once again and great and informative video. I am also an early reservation CT guy, but being Canadian, only the Foundation Series are being offered now. I prefer the larger wheels, but I am not sure which interior color I will eventually choose. I have never actually seen a Cybertruck in person, but next month I will be traveling down into California and I intend to educate myself so that I will know exactly what I want. Thank you so much for this video, as it was great to hear from a non-foundation series buyer. Thanks again, your videos are a great help. I recently bought a DJI Air 3 as I know you do as well. Glad to see the comparison. Still deciding on my reservation. Really need the almost 500 miles of range since I tow a lot and sometimes over 200 miles. Unfortuantly may need to go with the Silverado. Usually where I tow from there are no super chargers.
Yes, for me the lack of range of the current Cybertruck and the fact that it is not eligible for the federal $7,500 are reasons to hold off. The superior range of both the Chevy and the GMC are both very enticing. The biggest problem with buying a GM truck is having to go back to dealing with a dealership!! Musk should probably not have promised a 500 mile range, then delivered little more than HALF of that amount. Too bad. It could have been a really epic truck.

Very good information thank you! I ordered a non-F cyber truck about 2 weeks ago. I'll trade in my model Y with FSD. When I ordered the Cyber truck I was told that I couldn't transfer the mod Y FSD and would have to pay another $8,000 for the Cyber truck. Me not happy! Since I already paid $6,000 for the model 3 that I first bought, and another $9,000 for the model Y, I had $15,000 into it! Certainly didn't want to pay another $8K. I was pretty much considering that I would cancel the order. Now I see I don't have to. Still don't have a VIN number. And I haven't taken a drive yet. But I have one scheduled for next week! If I really like it I'll go ahead with the purchase. Fingers crossed

Joe, when I asked you how your Cybertruck was doing I didn't expect you to do a complete video to answer me, but thanks.
PUTTING MONEY IN MUSK POCKET AND KNOWING IS THE SAME AS DOING IT YOUR SELF....
You dont get much for that 20k, except you get to jump to front of line.
Yeah it’s a me first fee not actual options
Hey Joe,this is Hansshow,a popular brand who make Tesla accessories,do you interested in review our Cybertruck accessories?
Skip the first 5 minutes if you just want to know the difference.
Those funny trucks don't make you look younger or smarter.
FSD transfer is kinda fake though. Doing the transfer took the value of FSD out of my trade-in when I did it.
Why keep saying the cost is 80k. What sbout taxes fees, etc, real cost is almost 90k cash
Nice B-2 keychain, Joe! Any story behind it?
Joe is a former pilot from the Air Force, so he might have had that as a memento during his flying days.
The math? 20 or 40 thousand difference? floor mats and hubcaps but nothing about an extra motor?
I would not be called dead driving with ugly ass trucks🤮🤮🤮
