Anyone remember way back to a family meeting at robyns dining room table. Kody got pissy and swore . Time stopped while Robyn shot him a look , and said something to the effect of , " Kody. Not at MY table!". He settled down immediately. Later Christine said , " I didn't know we could talk to him like that"

Kody was definitely "in lust" with Robyn, we're about to see if it's real love. Robyn was "in love" with the fame and potential money she was about to get with the Brown's getting their tv show. I think the love bird's house of cards will crumble now that the other wives are gone there's no one but themselves to blame everything on, there's no longer "it's us verses the rest of the family, baby, it's always them, we're without fault" dynamic. If they lose the show then Robyn will 100% leave Kody, take everything he has, take the kids and try to get on Christine and Janelle's spinoff show. She'll turn Kody into the "abusive, controlling, evil, took all her money, r*pist" just like she did with her ex husband. She'll say Kody made her commit all these terrible acts, made her mistreat the other wives/kids and abused her so badly, "he's such an abusive partner and bad father, woe is me, I'm the victim, give me attention and fame because I'm pretending to cry!" Robyn's true colors are being revealed, her outside appearance is beginning to match how she looks on the inside. Everything we know about her leads to one conclusion, that she's the real narcissist and the one controlling Kody.

@@dawnclark4635 Sobyn knows how to manipulate men into giving her what she wants. Her ex husband's family spoke out for the first time and Sobyn stole her ex husband (Preston) from her own sister, Fawn. She trapped Preston with a baby so he would marry her, left him with ruined credit, a lost business and took his kids, then she moved from MT to UT to chase down Kody, according to the reporter that spoke out and the Jessop family. She ran up credit card debt under 3 last names (that Janelle paid for) before marrying Kody which is fraud (I would think), she collected food stamps until 2012 which I guarantee you is welfare fraud because they had to have been WELL OVER income cutoffs for food stamps. Karma will get them and Kody will get a taste of what he helped Robyn do to Preston.

Kody and Janelle had a deep platonic love for each other. They were basically friends and business partners who had sex. She also gave him four sons, including his first (Logan) and the son who made him proud by being the big wrestling champ and Air Force Academy grad (Hunter). Kody has admitted to being closer to his sons and, in the early years, they were all at Janelle's house because she was the "boy mom". I think that worked well for both Kody and Janelle because she was independent and didn't really want him around all the time. But having all the boys at her house insured that he had a reason to want to go to Janelle's.
I think it's also important to remember that Janelle and Kody were the two who had been raised as mainstream Mormons, so they had no frame of reference for what polygamy should be like. Kody had no clue how to handle three wives and Janelle didn't know that she was being exploited.

This family is the perfect example of the damage wrought by "settling", isn't it? Tough reality for each member, but it seems especially sad for the children of the wives Kody settled for. Once he fell in love with Robyn it seems that Meri, Christine, Janelle and all the other members of the family just weren't good enough and he basically abandoned them. Kody does not appear to possess the type of loving commitment to still be a father to his own children with the wives who he no longer wanted relationships with.

If he is going to spend time reluctantly with a spouse while texting and phoning Robyn and being in a surly mood the whole time over just having to be there at all then it does not count as the same amount of time as that reflected on the clock OR the amount of time it feels like to kody.
Kody committed the crime, he should have done the time or set his victims free. Instead they freed themselves. All that is left to do now is get some justice.

This is something I have been thinking about. I personally believe that Kody didn’t have the capacity to love the other wives the way he loves Robyn. I believe he just had a chance to fall in love with her. He only courted Christine and Janell for 2 weeks and two months. They barely saw one another between their first date and their weddings. He was friends with Meri for six months and basically got engaged on their first date. Kody also didn’t have much if any relationship experience. Kody DATED Robyn for six months before they got married. They were older. They both had kids, had been through some changes in life. They had a chance to get to know one another and fall in love.
I personally believe Christine is the love of his life. Meri said their relationship was the one that made her feel threatened. The way they were relaxed and easy going around one another. I think putting her down was his way of not making the other wives jealous. I also think this is why he was so mad she was leaving. I don’t think it was just his ego. I think she was something he loved and it was was being taken away. Instead of just being honest with Christine about his feelings.
Robyn knows how to manipulate Kody. I think if she didn’t he would treat her the way he treats the other wives.

The church does this to hopefully get you coming back as well as to literally harrass people to give because a lot of people who stop going keep paying & playing their games as a way to not loose their entire family, identies & culture & a lot of people do not stop giving money because they still love & support the church & hope it will evolve & they will then become active again, a lot of people donate because that is still what they feel is the right thing, other’s due to the culture & the way thing’s are out there decide to just pay so as to not upset anyone & the list continues. It is a sad sick game, a cult, a sham & just so many bad dark thing’s I could literally write a series of books & still never finish fully explaining & stating fact’s about them. Everyone would be so much better off if they would just admit they have all been fooled & then share & admit the truth they have hid & have proof of for many years & to just even say it was new thing’s & several investigation’s later proved it was a cult & everyone would definately fespect them more & many would be better off. However they will not as the church runs the state & is envolved in every decision & move & they make way too much money to stop the culty scam now. Sickining, they should all be prosecuted for the criminal orginazation they are (those who are in the know or those whom let it control the state affairs) however it is never going to happen where everyone would be charged because how do they prove it & no one will go up against them because of their status, we allow many religious organization’s to do this however Utah is the most extreme example I have ever researched or been told of (as far as controlling an entire state & it’s affair’s). Many describe Utah alone as such a backward’s & culturally different place than anywhere in the U.S. & people have explained how it has damaged them in so many way’s it’s unreal, the state of Utah has more prescription’s of antidepresant’s written in the nation, more mental health problem’s than anwhere in the U.S. with more than 30% of it’s resident’s having mental health problem’s, as of 2021 there were 550,000 adult’s with at least one mental health disorder & that is more than 2 times the entire population of Salt Lake City. I could also keep listing fact’s actual statistic’s but you understand. Also the church pay’s to put their website’s all over google flooding it with their narrative so a lot of people from the church use it to stay blinded by lie’s but the truth is all over as well however a person must be strong enough to believe fact’s versus all the church site’s & whatever narrative’s they wanna control & they also have to want to listen & indoctrination is strong & if that is what one live’s all their life or even for some of it they tend to unfortunately only listen to the church. It is all just so terribly sad, but hell look at scientology, arguably the most corrupt & criminal enterprise & the government knows & has been a victim of their attack’s but they still turn a blind eye to it & allow it to continue.

No James the reason why Mary and Janelle did not get along had nothing to do with the fact that Janelle didn’t understand how this works or doesn’t work I mean it doesn’t take it rocket scientist to figure out how it works. It was all about the fact that Janelle and Cody started talking about bringing Janelle into the family Behind Mary’s back Janelle having feelings for Mary when Mary brought Cody home to introduce to her family, which at that time included her sister-in-law Janelle so it was the fact that it probably caught her offguard that her sister-in-law or ex sister-in-law wanted to join her family, but the fact that it was also done secretly behind Mary’s back… Very similar to how Robin came into the family Minus the wife being around to facilitate “facilitate“ because I still don’t believe that Cody and Robin didn’t run into each other before hand and then just acted like they never met… Because Janelle and Mary were friends they got along well when they were sister-in-law‘s, they even got along well when Janelle and Adam got divorced it wasn’t until it was done sneaky way I mean it was betrayal. And I think on top of all of that bringing in that first wife into an already established relationship always going to be rocky. I mean this is why Christine never wanted to be a second wife she did not want to Bar on a monogamous relationship and the way that Cody and Janelle had gone about talking about Janelle coming into the family and I’m getting married and all that I think that was hurt. Never mind the fact that Cody and Jenelle wanted to get married on Mary’s birthday… Who does that?! That was messed up on top of everything else now you’re going to be like oh let’s get married on Mary’s birthday that sounds like a good idea and the fact that that didn’t change until Cody‘s mom talked him out of it, like Janelle was never like oh you know this probably hard on her as it is we were kind of sneaky talking to each other like that so maybe we shouldn’t then get married on her birthday. I think Mary felt very out of control and such a big part of her life, she had no control in… Like her love life she couldn’t control the fact that her husband was bringing other women, marrying other women sleeping with other women having children with other women… And there was like a three year. Where it was just Marie and Cody and they were trying to have a baby and then Janelle comes in and gets pregnant almost right away because there was barely a year in between Janelle getting married to Cody and Christine Marie and Cody, but all of these things that happened that caused Mary to feel so betrayed by Janelle aren’t things that only a polygamist person who grew up in polygamy would know is just wrong. I love Janelle Janelle’s one of my favorites. I think that she is just the complete opposite of me, you know my opinions everything that comes into my head comes out of my mouth if I don’t do something you damn well will know about it and if I don’t like someone there will be no questioning how I feel about that person and I’m also not wanting to just keep my mouth shut… It has gotten me in trouble my entire life. My whole entire life, so I appreciate people who are opposite of me. You know the chill laid-back go with the flow not going to show everyone my emotions type of a person because even if I’m not saying how I’m feeling in that very second my face says it all, but anyway, Janelle was dead wrong for how she came into the family, I mean, she even said that the minute that she met, which was when she was still married and in a full relationship with Adam, they were not separated. They were not divorced yet. They were still together as a couple that she felt like coming home and not for nothing. I just don’t understand why if Janelle wanted to come into the family why would you not have gone to your friend? This is the one that you’ve been friends with for years at this point this was someone who was your sister-in-law… and again it has nothing to do with if you grew up in polygamy and you understand the etiquette or whatever I mean, it’s a common sense type of thing. Plus, a fact that if you wanted to join this family, why wouldn’t you have gone to your friend someone that you’ve been friends with for years someone who was your sister-in-law for years, and listen I think that I am supposed to be a part of your family. This is how I’m feeling… It may have been an awkward conversation, but the fact that it was always known that Cody and Mary were planning on taking more wives and being a plural family, it’s not like you know monogamous couple being like I think I want to be a throuple with you.
I think Janelle was dead wrong in that situation and that is why her and Mary were never able to get back onto the same page because that foundation of a relationship as a sister wife was built upon betrayal .
    That is just my opinion

In regards to Meri and Janelle not getting along initially- I do not believe Meri took her by the hand and gently guided her along! Also, Janelle is bright. I could see her actively reading the spiritual literature at church, learning about plural marriage. These 3 were in a small trailer all together with thin walls. Meri was married to Kody, for a good (sexually active) year before Janelle came along. I think Meri knew the rulebook, tossed it into the trash, and made a more demur Janelles life a living hell! They took Janelle's financial contribution, and left Janelle sitting in a trailer by herself, while they went on vacation after vacation after quitting jobs frivolously. I do believe Meri and Kody initially were in love, with passion, before there were children, & no real financial concerns. That's how Kody rolls. He wants no stress, and life to be easy breezy. Both Meri and Robyn figured that out fast!
And now the very same dynamic is happening all over again, with Robyn at the helm! Thirty years later and she is back to humiliating square one. Janelle is intelligent with her finances, but is not exactly street smart! She gave her "best friend" Kody waaay more credit than he ever deserved! He views Janelle as his little buddy to this day, that rat! And Meri was strung along as well, always secretly hoping, because she had Kody's heart once, she may again. He had to tell her directly, that no, that was never going to happen again. Imo, it's especially tourcherous b/c after all these years, and all her devotion (finding him Robyn) she is left flat- period.

He “gave” these women an opportunity to live the principle. They are ungrateful now. He did his “duty”. Now they should honor him. Remember: “they wanted the man, not the family” he performed, the act was easy. Lying is not a problem in their religion. Kids are taught to lie immediately about how they live. Lying comes easier over time, once it’s allowed.

Compared to seeing his relationship with his three wives after 16+ years of marriage. Of course it's going to look different. They're all way past the honeymoon stage. And Christine married Kody while Janelle was pregnant. Why was it OK for Kody & Christine to do that to Janelle but not ok when he and Robyn turn around and do it to Christine?
