    Pre-covid, I was a Flight Attendant who just loved to travel and didn't think anything like 2020 would've taken place. So naive. Although this year has been absolute shit and just chaotic (I can write for hours about the tragedies of this year), I finally took the initiative to get into Nursing School. Of course it is completely different than what it could've been, but I look up to my classmates and professors for their utmost professionalism and passion towards nursing. It has been so encouraging. Anyway, I used to be someone who loved spend on gifts. Of course, 2020 taught me how to prioritize my finances and encourage me to make more sustainable decisions. To summarize, I am back to being a broke student so with the little money I have I decided to make these scrubcaps to thank my classmates and instructors this Holiday season. I have to admit, I love this and this is going to be the best gifts I've ever given - SO THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! Happy Holidays.

      Thank you so much for sharing this. After 13 years in the classroom this has been by far the most difficult year. It’s stressful, the kids are stressed, people are snappy, every time I get a cough I’m not sure if it’s allergies or rona. But I’m really proud of you for going back to school and trust me I did the same thing when I was broke. Your loved ones don’t care how much the gift cost, just that it was made with love. And you are giving them the gift of safety, how much more love could that be? Glad to have you as part of the channel!

    My cousin reached out to me yesterday, asking if I could make her some scrub caps. I've never made them before so I began my search on RUclips. Your cap by far is the best! I love the toggle for adjusting. Thank you for sharing.

    Thank you for this tutorial. I have been wanting to make a lined cap like this for a lined shower cap, as the plastic ones are not always "hair friendly"! (They make me sweat!) I love your logo\profile\photo, looks like a lovely place to be.

      Ha awww thanks! I try to make my apt cute but I still have plans to make my sewing space a bit more special. I had my logo drawn by a great artist I found on Reddit named Nadine Scholtz in the Netherlands! Ive used her 3 times and she always does great work :)

    Great .. thanks. However looks like you pinned at 10" , stated 9 1/2.
    That's a 1/2 difference. Can you clarify. Thank you

    I love how easy you make this look, your tone when giving instructions is very helpful, a lot of times I get anxious...I’m a novice never had any formal training... I pulled out my sewing machine after COVID was rampant so I took to RUclips for masks guidance...here I am again wanting to help, so I’m trying my hand at hat/caps...just like the masks I’m clueless on what fabric I need...will you please tell me what kind of satin you use...or if I can purchase from you would really mean the world to me...I’m still homebound so when I order items I have to be specific because I can’t get out to look touch and ask questions, unfortunately I’ve spent a lot of money on fabric I can’t use...this last order I purchased fabric for furniture 😔 I spent $30...
    Caring is Sharing..,thank you for sharing your gift

    Question if I don't want to put a cord stop at the end of the scrub cap how do I make it without it?

    • @MeghanGraceDIY
      @MeghanGraceDIY  4 года назад +1

      You can absolutely make it with out a cord stop. Just take the elastic and measure around the persons head. You want to to be a bit tight but not cutting off their circulation. Close the loop
      Of elastic and let it slide into the casing then close the whole. And done! Also this is a good place to mention that different elastics have different stretch. The elastic I have is a loose weave and stretches ALOT. Elastic you buy at Joanne and Walmart tends to be a bit stiffer and not stretch as much. So just something to keep in mine!
