Really cute bag,! Was a time I would have made bunch’s of these. I could see using plain fabric with hand embroidery as well. Now all I do is think fondly of my glory days of sewing! It’s all good❤
Hi..So happy to have you here...Glad you like the video..Yes denim fabric will be great also to make this bag...So happy knowing you are going to make the project..Happy sewing😊🌷🌷🌷
The for *suluxy* high quality AND cheaper! $10,000 Name bag that lasts 7 years or $200 name bag that lasts 15. What would be the purpose of the former?
Nice bag! Very clever indeed! I think I would prefer the pockets inside the bag only because I am rough on bags and I know my stuff would fall out easily.
You could always omit that step for the pocket and before stitching up the bag sides add a few slip pockets. You can also pre-make some credit card slots to sew onto the lining. Before doing either of those things, interface both main and lining with a heavier woven interfacing. Could add a layer of fusible fleece on the main as well, or foam for more structure.
This is an amazing tutorial! It is very clear and easy to follow. I love the little bag! I can think of so many uses for it. The fabrics are really interesting-I would not have chosen them and would ever have thought of putt them together, but they really work! Finally, I never understand people who only complain about not liking the fabric choices. I can only surmise that they have so little experience with sewing that they don’t understand the pure joy of finding fabrics that you love to create something you adore using, and conversely, seeing something being created and picturing it in fabrics you love. Sad, really, because that is a huge part of the joy of creating in sewing! You have a new subscriber in me and I have saved this video as I mentally wander through my fabric stash wondering exactly which fabrics I want to try first with this lovely little bag!
I have never, ever sat through a full tutorial for anything sewing-related in my life, but this was fantastic - and the bag is incredible! Thank you so much for sharing... new subscriber here. You're extremely generous - and talented!!
Wow! You just sit there and think up new ideas while drinking coffee ☕ or something? Amazing! The colours might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love the bag ❤
@@МарзилаЖакаева I didn't get the coloring matches until it all came together. But, if you have a variety of leftover fabrics from something else what a creative idea!
I thought this was adorable! As an artist and crafter, I can validate that contrasting colors and patterns are very appealing and sell out fastest. I'm going to check my stash for a plaid and calico in contrasting colors!
Very nice bag. One of the things I love is that you actually load it up with stuff, the same stuff we all use at the end of the video. The tutorial was great. Ten thumbs up if I could. I'm a subscriber now.
Such a cute bag. I didn't think the colors and patterns would pair - up nicely as they did until seeing the finished product. TYSM for sharing this video with us. 😉👍😉
Yana, I just want to clarify…. I appreciate so much your sharing this technique with all of us. I love how easy it comes together and I appreciate your efforts. I did say that I did not prefer your color choices. I didn’t mean not hurt your feelings in any way. I apologize.
Yeah, the colours are kinda boho-hippy-60's-ish. My daughter would love it - BUT, my thought was that maybe the colour choice could have been to help with the visual aspect?? Obviously, I don't actually know... although the contrast of the fabrics did make it easier to distinguish between layers (for me, anyway. Maybe I'm just too old *shrug*).
Thank you - excellent teaching! You use contrasting colours perfectly to show how the different parts work technically! So many instructors use too similar colour combos - it can get very confusing when it is a "how-to"! Your demo is Excellent - and thank you so much.
Fantastic video and pattern. Great for those who have limited sewing experience like me. I like that you show all the details and dimensions. I will be looking for more of your videos. thank you
The nice thing about this bag is that you could make several using different colored fabric so you have one for each outfit. They will each be an original
Wow! I'm hooked after watching 1. Just this one so far Thank you. The bag is adorable! The tutorial is beyond Top Notch! Color and pattern choice are perfect. Love it.... SUBSCRIBED ✔
It is very discouraging to put your work out here and have to read such negativity. I really like the pattern and yes how easy you made it look it gives me courage to try it myself.. So thank you for your hard work. Very much apprichated, please continue to do you🎉❤
People are only limited by the capacity of their minds. They forget they have choices: Cut off the video and move on, choose different fabrics, turn the bag inside out so the pockets are on the inside, etc etc etc. So SIMPLE
Es simplemente genial. Me encantó la idea, sabe que tengo muchos retazos, con los cuales haré 60cm, es decir construiré las telas, he intentaré seguir sus pasos, espero lograrlo,
The pockets on the outside were amazing! When you were cutting the one piece of fabric, I was thinking, "why is she cutting that piece?" Lol ....I see now. Awesome idea!!
Ganz lieben Dank, wieder so ein interessantes Teil. Freue mich sehr und werde die Tasche versuchen zunähen. Bin noch immer ein Anfänger. Alles Gute und liebe Grüße. Sabine😊
Lovely bag, I love the rusty colour tartan with the flowery fabric. I would put the pockets on the inside and possibly 2 on the outside. Also, a heavier interface and a zipper for more security, as the way I chuck my bag around everything would fall out the gaps 😂. This would also be great making it much bigger for beach days.
How did you think this design up?! It’s lovely! It reminds me of geometry….I can’t imagine/think this way. It makes me appreciate your talent even more.
@@tlojewelrylovety, for that time stamp its a cutie girly fishing cap or baby bonnet you could even string a few ribbon ties for that of a bunch perfect fit.
didn't think the colors and patterns would pair - up nicely as they did until seeing the finished product. i loved the end results SUPER cute
They are cute colors that would go well for fall, they wouldn't match everything I own but I do love them!!
When people are saying *suluxy* is a better option,I very much agree!
I appreciate the contrasting material used for the tutorial. It's so beneficial for me to see where and how each piece ends up. Really cute bag❤❤❤
Yes, I was going to say the same thing 💝 I also liked the music .
Really cute bag,! Was a time I would have made bunch’s of these. I could see using plain fabric with hand embroidery as well. Now all I do is think fondly of my glory days of sewing! It’s all good❤
What an adorable bag❣️
I love the mixture of plaid with floral fabrics❣️ Thank you so much for sharing this video and your talent.😃❣️

Nice bag!
Very clever indeed!
I think I would prefer the pockets inside the bag only because I am rough on bags and I know my stuff would fall out easily.
Idem😅
Same. I would catch one of the pockets on something. On the inside it would help me organize better😊
Yes, and with security for your keys, credit card case etc. thank you. Nice presentation.
You could always omit that step for the pocket and before stitching up the bag sides add a few slip pockets. You can also pre-make some credit card slots to sew onto the lining. @@janinebrown9773I’m so clumsy! Outside pockets on anything for me requires a additional insurance policy!
