Muy hermosa la combinación de las telas, y muy práctico y fácil de confeccionar, cuántos cm de elástico sería para la parte de atrás, Dios la bendiga por enseñarnos sus conocimientos
Hi Velma, you can print it either on a US letter paper or on A4 paper, just make sure to download it on your computer open it with adobe reader or a similar program and print from there. DO NOT print directly from the browser as it may skew the pattern. Measure the test square/line to make sure your print settings are correct. Print at 100% (NO SCALING). It fits an average sized head as it has some wiggle room thanks to the ties and also you can add a bit of elastic or make a few pleats at the back to help it fit a smaller head
Hello, I just found your channel and subscribe right away. Great tutorials, I’m fairly new at sewing. I just have a quick question, can you do backstitch while using walking foot? Thank you. I’m gonna get back to watching more of your video 😀
Hi Christine, welcome aboard :) Make sure to also click the bell next to the button subscribe so you can be notified when we post new video. Yes, you can backstick while using the walking foot
Did you measure the test square/line? This pattern fits most average heads. What is your head CIRCUMFERENCE? Mine is 22-23' 58cm and I had to make a few pleats at the back as there is plenty more space
You can leave the cap without pleats/elastic or you can feed the elastic though this casing with a small safety pin, then first baste and then sew at either end when you double fold the cap end. See step 3 here hellosewing.com/surgical-scrub-cap-free-sewing-pattern/
Great video, did I miss it or did you put an elastic in the back peach part? I’m new to sewing these. I have been making pleated masks and now I have had several people ask if I can make scrub caps. Thanks for the info. 😎
If you want to add elastic: Cut a small piece of 1/8 or 1/4" elastic. Use either a loop turner or a small safety pin to insert the elastic through the fold (around 3:30 in the video). Sew at both ends to secure the elastic.
Very easy to make. I like that there is no elastic. Video is great I had to slow it waaay down. Cap came out good. Made it for my niece who is a RN. Thank you!
It beautiful. I like the video! I want to make it
Just make it! It whips up in less than 15 minutes!

Love this tutorial, it was so beyond helpful ❤️❤️ can i ask is this pattern only for women? Or can men fit it also?
Thank you! It's unisex and fits both men and women.
Also some of my health care friends have large head and hair. how can i compensate for this.
This can is adjustable and can fit most heads but enlarging it further is not an easy modification.
@@HelloSewing what about more elastic at the back.
How can I get the pattern for the scrub cap? What do u need from me to get the pattern?
just go to the link in the description. I dont need anything from you. the pattern is free to download from hellosewing.com
