Just insane skiing. That straight line sure got him rocketing down. And then you consider this was around 97. The equipment they were hitting this stuff with was very much decades away from where it is nowadays.

This was my era of skiing, and what they called, 'extreme' skiing... Long, straight skis, or what we now call skinny skis. My preferred length was a 215cm Super G. It was a different skill set. Robb always made look easier than it was. Gone too soon...
