I met Elijah in LA a while back outside a café, he was the absolute nicest guy ever. I didn't talk to him, but my friend knew him from way back on the set of The Faculty. Elijah immediately remembered my friend and the two of them talked for a few minutes while I stood there having an out of body experience. Just a super cool dude.

Good grief, I'm a 62 year old woman whose sons nominated her to haul a van load of 8th graders and freshman boys to a movie theater to see LOTR when I came out. I sat down lower to myself dreading what was to come. I knew nothing about the storyline. NOTHING. I was completely blown away by the acting, the cinematography and ...everything else. I left not understanding what I just watched in a stunned silence. I listened to the boys talk NON STOP all the way back to the small town we all resided in. As the days passed, I started asking questions and before I knew it, my oldest bought the VHS and had me re-watch it. (Extended version) which really helped fill the voids for me. Truly addicted to the entire series and I greatly appreciate the work that surely went into all aspects of creating / developing and ...just pulling it all together. Unimaginable. Regarding the Podcast; I absolutely love just listening to you guys talk everyday experiences. I wish you could have started this last year when the pandemic hit. My 30 something son is rolling his eyes at I type, I've turned into the kid and they're my parents now. hahaha. Truly a super good Podcast, well pulled together and the topics are real world daily stuff which some LOTR mix in there. I love it when you leak out little stories of your fellow actors who had an issue or two during filming. Such fun. Good job guys! Thank you for your efforts. Love it!!! Keep chatting!

This makes me happy to hear. Im about your Son's age and tried to get my Mom to watch it with me and she just fell asleep. Oh well!
I was dragged to the movie by my boyfriend at the time…..I left the theatre wishing I could see the next one the next day……I was hooked in the first ten minutes.
I remember we had a field trip to see it at the end of the school year......

What caught my ear was that Billy said that he woke up with his wife when she was feeding the baby cause he wanted to participate; that made me so happy! My son was born 7 weeks early and we had signed up for classes and were just starting to really prepare for parenting with books we hadn't read when Rowan decided it was time to surprise us. Spent 14 loooong days sleeping on the couch in the NICU and parenthood was quite eagerly thrust upon us. We had a class we were supposed to take while our son was in the hospital and we went home (because COVID) and logged into the online course and it was the most ridiculously pointless thing.. We had spent all day caring for our son while he was hooked up to wires and tubes and had a needle IV in his head... Do that for 2 weeks and you can handle most anything a basic infant care class can teach you.. So, I looked at my wife and said.. "Let's not learn to be parents and just go be present and do our best to be good parents for our son". And we went back to the hospital. That's been our philosophy ever since. Just being intentional and present as he grows up and loving him the best we can and trying to teach him as much as he has been teaching us.
