We all know the implications of COVID-19 are far reaching, but we may not realize how school closures and economic stressors are significantly increasing childhood hunger rates in the U.S. The problem is two-fold as new financial strains make it harder for families to provide meals for their
kids and food access programs that previously provided in-school meals need to quickly shift the way they operate. To help address this crisis, we humbly ask you to support No Kid Hungry, a national campaign focused on ending childhood hunger in America. Anything you donate today will be added to the incredibly generous $1.3 million Cheerios is donating to support the campaign’s efforts to help feed hungry kids in the wake of COVID-19. We also ask for your help in spreading positivity in your

He kept the ring!

He's a Baggins!
Someone has been a bad boy - keeping the REAL One Ring while destroying a copycat in Mount Doom... 😅
My husband met Vigo at the mall. He went up to him and asked “are you Aragorn?” Vigo replied “I am he.” My husband fainted.
One does not simply walk up to Isildur’s heir lol
Strong hearted man, I would've had a seizure.
That is the most Viggo and/or Aragorn thing he could ever say and a perfect example of why he was so perfect for the role. Humble, but true of heart.
At today the episode of "the things never happened". Met with Vigo.
Tokkun Kim I would've died
On a bitter note, Ian Holm passed away about 2 weeks after this Zoom meeting, so the message he sent here are his last words to the Fellowship :(
🙏🙏
Godspeed
Off to Valinor goes our dear Bilbo.
hoax
Based on quick search, not true!
Not me crying the moment Ian McKellen appeared and started doing the “so do all who live to see such times” monologue 😭
It still makes me cry every time!
6:26
I literally clapped when he did that. YAS!
Ian's jokes were top notch too! That roast of Orlando
His entrance and the music literally made my hair stand on end. 😭
I am so glad Sean Bean survived this Zoom.

I was 50/50 the whole time. Real stressful.
We had one reunion yes.
What about a second reunion?
and then third one))
And reunionzies?
"I don't think he knows about second reunions, Pip."
You mean like a "hobbit"ish reunion 👌
YES, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sean Astin freezing and Peter saying “as soon as somebody gets remotely boring it just freezes itself” had me in tears
I love how Pete never hesitates to roast his cast 😂
Pete had a lot of zingers in this! so awesome!
49:21 RIP Our King Théoden, what a sad new. Bernard Hill (1944 - 2024) you'll be forever in our hearts.
Hearing Ian McKellen refer to himself as Gandalf the Gay is not something i would have ever heard outside my head
Because when the movie came out, many made a big deal that the actor playing Gandalf was gay when the first film came out.
He did? (I haven't watched this yet.) How appalling.

Hahha great comment this. Totally agree

Accurate
Can we just take a minute to acknowledge that, in Sean Astin’s darkest-hour, inspirational speech, there were literal birds chirping among the flowers in the background?
life imitates art eh
I'm so jappy someone else noticed that! 😭🖤
Yea
I noticed, and I'm sobbing.
Yes life does imitate art. There are stories from WWI (specifically from the Battle of the Somme) of larks nesting in no man's land and flying around and chirping almost immediately after the guns stopped sounding.
Sir Ian McKellen must be protected at all costs.
Dude fights balrogs - He's gonna be okay.

Liv Tyler's emotional struggle to say goodbye even on a Zoom call speaks to the impact of the LOTR trilogy and its cast and crew.
She is so cute and lovely
It really speaks to her temperament. She is always selfless and thankful in her interviews. There is a lot of hippy in that woman.
@@CMCrockett I cried while watching her reaction .

My heart shattered with Liv's "Oh, don't go". I think everyone had that feeling whenever we had to end a zoom call with people you hadn't seen in months
Now that it's 2020, Elijah finally looks like he's old enough to drink.
Yeah. Maybe some banana juice.

47:30 seeing Sir Ian Mckellens genuine happiness that Ian Holm left them a message makes you think not only their caharacters were great friends, but great friends in real life too who appreciated each other deeply
Seems that Ian Holm passed away a few weeks after this Zoom conference, age 88.

John Rhys Davies knows how to set the scene with the helmet and raising the camera angle 😂 this video in its entirety made my week ❤
"Let me just tilt this up a wee bit..." Hysterically funny!
People don’t realize how much of a miracle lord of the rings truly was. Everything had to be perfect, the location, actors, music, script, and somehow... it did. They took a huge risk making the films but it all came together in a way that doesn’t even seem possible. DEFINITELY the best movie trilogy of all time.
I agree 100%...is and always will be my favourite film...kinda addicted to collecting stuff but totally worth it

Literally just watch the whole trilogy less than a month ago, now I want to watch it again already after seeing this.
And both versions, first you watch the theatrical cut and then extended cut
Watching this for the first time in 2023. I didn't even know it happened! Such a wonderful reunion, I could not stop laughing and fangirling! Das gefühl hatte ich auch, herzergreifend
I’m not sure people realize how special this really is. I’m not sure if we’ll ever see a production of this caliber ever again. Many studios have created epic movie series but none of them hold a candle to what was accomplished on these films. 🙏🏾
I do think the Narnia movies were really good as well. Lower budget movies than LOTR I would assume, but great casting and the special effects still look good and they seemed pretty true to the books.
R.I.P Christopher Lee and Ian Holm. Wish they could have joined the meeting

At 47:50. It hurts to see this again after that short letter. :(

Sam was the main hero to me. Even in the film he carried Frodo up Mt Doom on his back.
Somewhat related: My friend hired Sean Astin via Cameo do to a birthday greetings video for her daughter, and he filmed it from that exact same spot in the garden. And the best part was it wasn't just one of those 30-second standard canned responses video, he really went into anecdotes about his own kids and growing up, and the entire video was over 5 minutes long. Peter Jackson is hilarious with his wise cracks and zingers. This needs to happen again, or maybe get them all together in the same place and just film them talking about anything.
Probably one of the greatest zoom calls ever recorded. It was like meeting old family again, so glad to see they still have that friendship, admiration and love for each other.
What a special cast. ❤️
What I love the most about the cast of lord of the rings, is that none of them look like your typical A-list Hollywood celebrity. They don't reek on that fake glamour, they look like genuinelly good, normal, down to earth people you can actually listen to talking without feeling your brain cells deteriorate.
i never thought about that but its true! well noticed. they just seem like a bunch of cool blokes and some funny goofy intelligent down to earth women

I noticed during Covid a lot of celebrities were dressing more casually. There's nothing wrong with dressing up though imo.
You should watch the Princess Bride At Home movie if you haven't, it's a bunch of A list actors acting it out at home with cellphone cameras and their kids and pets as costars but still respectfully done.
It makes me happy to know that the Lord of the Rings is still regarded as a complete masterpiece, and is still receiving love from around the world. Each cast member helped make it the timeless, magic thing that it was and is. Greatest project ever conceived.
