I told my girlfriend that the Goonies cast had a reunion on RUclips. She said, "What's the Goonies". She's my ex now.
Cam Jo Sir, you complete me.
Haha 👍
As it should be!
Good man.
👏 my brother’s girlfriend hates the Goonies and monster squad. Not a good sign.
Now Ke Huy Kwan is an Oscar winner!!! Well-deserved!!
Let's hope Josh Brolin or Sean Astin are next. Or Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton.
Absolutely deserved it! Hopefully, the other Goonies brethren will have their chances in the future. Congrats, Ke!
I almost cried when Ke mentioned getting back into acting. "Keep an eye out for "Everything Everywhere All At Once""
What a beautiful moment to witness.
R.I.P Richard Donner! Thank you for “The Goonies.”
From directing Superman to directing Super Chunk!
That Donner story though 😅 he said directing the kids in Goonies ranked as the most horrifying of his career. And he directed The Omen before Goonies.
Great man Richard
Congratulations Josh, you just created the greatest show on the Internet.
I totally agree!
John Krasinski passed the baton on to a worthy follow-up
Still think SGN was better but it‘s over so thats a good way to something else
second.
Yes 🙌🏼
In loving memory:
John Matuszak: Sloth
Anne Ramsey: Mama Fratelli
Keith Walker: Mr. Walsh
Mary Ellen Trainor: Mrs. Walsh
Lupe Ontiveros: Rosalita

I still say Seth McFarlane ripped "rosalita " for "consuela" on FG
Also... does anyone remember Short Round from "temple of doom"?
@@TheReverendJonnyNemo noooo......nooooo.......noooo......
thank you I saw names other than John and Anne and wondered who it had been
Its so awesome to see Ke Huy Quan return to prominence as an actor since this video was made.
He still looks the same!? Lol.
Goonie for life here. One of my fav lines: Jeez, mister, you're even hungrier than I am. ( Anyone else? )
That was a good line

I kinda got chills from Corey saying his “this was my wish” line.
me too!
Same
I got chills all down my arms! That poor man..
Same 😍🙂
Same! Amazing.
When Robert Davi directs his "Hey ma, I like this kid" line up to heaven for Anne...that broke me.
He said it perfectly!!!
I choked up.
So glad you enjoy!! So happy to hear! Make sure you follow my new RUclips page!!
Really, really perfect
It was very touching.
How is Jeff not still acting? Dude has charisma for days!
My man became a lawyer.
I was going to write a similar comment. He always has that 'comfortable with everything' personality. Made for performance.
I remember watching this video when it came out and thinking how great it was to hear Ke Huy Quan say that Crazy Rich Asians had inspired him to pursue his acting career once more and now here he is nearly 3 years later with an Oscar to his name!! Absolutely amazing to see this happen. I could not think of anyone more deserving to win this year’s Oscar for best supporting actor. I’m so so so happy for him!
I smiled the whole time. I'm still smiling. I don't think I'll stop all day. Thank you Josh for this epic event.
Same bro
Yes! Thank you goonies family! That includes you Josh!
Right? This was both surreal and beautiful simultaneously.
Me too!!!!

I am a 48 year-old man and I just sat here in tears at the amazingness of this collaboration. Josh, thank you for bringing back the cast of my childhood! This was amazing, I love this cast and this movie so much. I needed to see this.
Me to I am 48 watched it in Liverpool England
Ditto. Now he needs to do a reunion with a cast from any John Hughes film 🥰
Thank you, we 48 year old dads needed this. So difficult now...
44 years old. Almost cried at the end when they started singing.
One more brought to tears, so good to see them all together.
I got so emotional seeing these guys together again...I miss the 80's so much. 😭
This movie is iconic; the first dvd I bought from the Wherehouse that no longer exists. Its generational. If you saw it in the theater its was a special.
So lovely looking back on this with all the success Ke Huy Quen has had with Everything, Everywhere, All at once. Seems like such a genuinely lovely human!
Including an Oscar win.
My face hurts from smiling for 26 minutes straight.
This felt more like a bunch of friends talking about something we all experienced decades ago
Tohrmentrix Abyss couldn’t have said it better
My hubby and I were smiling huge the whole time too! This...was just the most EPIC thing EVER!!
Legit, my cheeks hurt from smiling. This might be one of my favorite RUclips videos of all time.
''This felt more like a bunch of friends talking about something we all experienced decades ago'' thats because it is :)
Only during quarantine would he EVER get all these people together in one conference call. It was epic!
EXACTLY my thought. A M A Z I N G.
Thank you Covid lol
I'm 65yrs and I am a Goonie. Love watching the movie with my granddaughter

Who’s here after Ke his Oscar? My Goonies nostalgia is riding high right now 😂

The casting for Goonies was perfect.

Amazing! And he’s always credited CRA from the beginning.

@Fuert Neigt It's not a show, it's some friends getting together for fun and to fundraise. It was scripted in that they obviously talked previously about what they were going to say and do and some of them had notes and props, but you missed that. So your criticisms are completely invalid and completely unnecessary.
Luckily this didn't it you:

@Fuert Neigt sometimes less editing helps keep things more authentic.
To say that I LOVED this movie as a child is an understatement. In third grade, when we wrote formal letters in school, I wrote to Steven Spielberg pitching Goonies II (with more girls, including me). I got a phone call from Steven Speilberg thanking me for the letter and explaining that he was working on other projects! It was so nice of him. I spent tons of time listening to Cyndi's song on my walkman while playing on our tree swing pretending to be a Goonie. Thanks for bringing the cast together and may this complete gem of a film never be remade/updated!
Piper Severance This is so wonderful to read! 🥰
I was 11, lived outside of Portland, OR, and spent summer vacations at the beach when this movie came out. A bit older than you were, but I, too, wanting nothing more than to be a Goonie, and I will always, always love this movie.
😁
I was basically raised in movie theaters in the 80's, both my parents worked in the daytime, my mom would pick me and my friends up on her lunch break and drop us off at the theater. We would bounce from screen to screen until she picked us up, maybe 4-5 hours later. Goonies and Ghostbusters the year before were the only movies I never got tired of. Those were the days
Goonies with Girls? Guess what: Data helped to make that a reality, and it is on Netflix right now! Called: 'FINDING OHANA'. and it really does have the feel of the Goonies and the lead girls are so good, the young Hawaiian girl totally reminds me of Data back then! Enjoy!
"This is my wish, I'm taking it back...." GAVE ME CHILLS🧡
Awesome part of the film! Life can be bitter at times.
Why the hell would you discontinue this?!? You're helping out a lot of people with your charity streams like this and really bring joy to our lives bringing together our favorite people from our favorite movies!! Please don't end this!
Why was this discontinued? Oh that is really sad
Yeah this series is among the best that has been made on RUclips. SO many people have memories from these movies.

I feel like Sean Astin is probably the most laid-back, friendly guy you'd ever meet...
He totally is. I met him 2 years ago at Comic-Con and he just wanted to have a long, heartfelt conversation with every person he met. He had to cut the convos short for time, but he's such a genuine, down-to-earth guy.

He married a local girl here in the Midwest where I live. Their entire family comes to our huge 4th of July parade every year! Such nice people! 💖

I can’t believe how many of them were actually in this video. This was a real treat. I was 10 years old when this movie came out and got to see it in the theater. The Goonies and Back to the Future define 1985 for me.

It was a great time. Movies had stories that could be told in 90-100 minutes with real sets with actors that gave performances against those sets with other actors. The analog film had this grain that added something to the feel of the movie; and fights...the fights were visible! You could see the fights.
IMO the 80s were probably one of the best decades of the 20th century for movies and music and entertainment in general.
