I love this! I made 2. With one I added 3" pockets to the bottom of the towel pieces so when picking cherry tomatoes, etc. there's a place to put them. Thank you. Thank you.
Wonderful. I like you’re method for the kitchen boa, I also loved the adult bib I was in need of that simple pattern for sure I subscribed to you’re channel in hope we will see more fabulous videos. Thanks for the time you put in to you’re videos 🎉❤
I have seen quite a few videos on kitchen boas and I like that you didn't sew the length first, ensuring that you have a perfect fit for the towel. I like the idea that you made the neck more narrow. Great job!
Just luv your instructions. So simple & easy. Your instructions made more sense to me. And less steps to do. Thankyou. Just saw this today; & excited to try this pattern out.😊❤
I like the way you tapered the neck section! I agree, so much less bulk!! I was going to make some for Christmas so I'm glad I saw this before I got started!
Thanks for the video. I just made 2 as birthday gifts, and plan on making more for holiday presents. You made it easy to follow the steps and mine came out great. I will be checking out more of your videos, for sure!!!
This is the BEST IDEAS SO FAR! The center slimmer is a great way to fit the neck so much more comfortable to the wearer! I will definitely make use of your ideas for some great gifts for any reason of any season! Thank you for this best so far tutorial!
Great job! A tip for users: make sure you don't use these for potholders if they are damp or you will get steam burns. I love the idea of always having a towel handy.
Oh my, Timothy. I have watched about 20 videos on this scarf so far today (not feeling well so it's a RUclips day) and I have to say I love your scarf the BEST I have already watched the one you referred to. I am so glad I kept going and found yours. I love love love it. I don't see any need for all that fabric around the neck I feel it would be annoying. I am making a friend an apron from a recycled dress and I wanted to do something else with the fabric this scarf fits the bill. I also want to make a couple pot holders from the rest of the fabric. I don't know if I have told you on other videos but I love your channel you do an awesome job. Now I don't know which side of the folded towel I want on top LOL I love them both. LOL
@@timothytotten9409 I am really being serious. I even watched more after I watched yours and none of the videos I have watched is as nice as yours and done as nicely. I do appreciate your videos thank you!!
A thought on the towel halves facing opposite directions: Then the boa can be worn either side up. There is no wrong side. Over time, each side should wear equally.
Making this for my husband who always grabs my tea towel and uses it for a hand towel even though I have one hanging in the kitchen (then some how crumples it into a ball-makes me crabby!) Thank you
Just found your channel and subscribed! I’m binge watching for Christmas ideas. I’m also selling things in a consignment shop so your tutorials are going to help a lot. Going to make one of these for my son who cooks a lot. It’ll be a nice time saver for him so he wont have to look for towels or potholders. Great stuff.
You are a great person for me to follow. Love the video have 3 sashes to make. Question what rotary cutter do you use? I have changed all my blades but mine doesn’t make it easy like yours.
I use an OLFA rotary cutter. Would never use another kind. It's my favorite. But I also change blades regularly and I put quite a bit of pressure on the cutter. You should never put more pressure on the blade than you can comfortably control.
I'm old, living in an RV, and my sewing machine is in storage. I'm trying to figure out how to do a no-sew kitchen boa by crocheting a nice scarf section between the two towel ends. I think I can use iron-on seam adhesive on the thinner towels. Not so sure about a nice, textured terry towel I found for $2 at WM. Any ideas?
Why not just cut the neck piece with curved edges, going from full width at the towel ends to only about 2-3” wide in the center? You would just sew 2 long seams instead of one.
No laundrying first? I cannot bring myself to sew anything wo washing & drying in HIGH heat for starters. Otherwise items come out super wrinkled upon washing. Not good for selling or gifting.
It's a good point. I don't always show the other steps I would normally take when I'm doing these off camera. I'll try to remind people in future videos they should wash first.
Wearing that while cooking, especially on a gas stove, is asking to catch it on fire. I have never seen anything so dangerous! i won’t even wear long snug sleeve T-shirts when cooking. Wipe your hands on your apron. Stay safe!

Love watching your videos. No frills just fun sewing projects.
Thank you so much for sharing. I love the thinner neck idea.
Thank you, I now know what to make for Christmas gifts. You’re the best. 👍
You are so awesome Timothy. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I really like the extra trim accents and the shape of this finished product. Nice and comfortable.
Thank you!!
Great job, always thought it would be more comfortable thinner around the neck. Thank You!
Great video! I did 3 this afternoon! I sewed up the side seam and then put the towels in and sewed the ends shut!!!! Super simple!!!
Sounds easy! Good job!
Your technique for stitching before cutting makes so much sense. I have made a couple of these and I wish I had known this technique. Thank you.
Thanks! I love when people find my technique helpful for them!

I love this kitchen boa. Especially since you gave it to me after you made it! LOL!!!
Thanks, mom! Lol
Such an awesome teacher. I love it that you sewed it straight down the cutting mark‼️
I have 2 boas I love them in the kitchen. Thanks for the he veido. Jane
I’m really liking that neck adjustment you did!
Thank-you I have been wanting to make these for Christmas. I have brought 4 for myself and use all the time.
I like the narrowing of the neck as I have a short neck, brilliant. I probably would have just folded it over. Thanks
I made one (and an entire video that was pretty bad) without folding it over and the wide neck was soooo annoying I had to redo it.
I like the way you tapered the neck section! I agree, so much less bulk!! I was going to make some for Christmas so I'm glad I saw this before I got started!
Thanks!! I hope you enjoy making them. I have a few more special ones to kick our for Christmas this year
It would make a cute gift! Great idea!! Thank you.
Especially if you theme it to the decor of the person you’re giving it to. You can find themed towels or just use plain towels and get themed fabric.
Thank you for this tutorial. This looks like it will be very helpful in the kitchen. Thanks again.
I’m surprised by how much I like this thing. I made a different one for myself, but it’s so much nicer than a standard towel over the shoulder.
I just sent video to a friend. we will be making these for Christmas gift this year.
I'm glad to hear that! Let me know how it goes!

So good to hear! I hope you enjoyed making them. I have given two away as well and they were very well received.
Great video! I made it in under 30 minutes and it came out great! Making many more for gifts - thank you!!!!😊

Kudos on working around your camera setup at the ironing board. I get crazy when my hair falls in my face, getting in my way! Looks great! I'm a fan!
I love these Timothy! So cute! I’m going to make these for friends and family. Thank you for the tutorial.
I hope you have fun!

Can this be done on a home sewing machine?
Yes.

Why are you using that particular foot on your machine instead of the standard foot? When I was learning to sew that was the zipper foot. Thank you
This is the standard foot on my machine. It is 1/4” width. Zipper feet tend to be even narrower.
Попробую совместить это с фартуком.
♥️
You are too funny
You forgot the black piece of material?
Stopped the video right away. Tim! You didn't say your usual! back to the video.
Sorry! I didn't know I was gonna add it here. LOL. But thanks for reminding me for next time.
@@timothytotten9409 I usually say it with you, lol.
