Thank you for sharing your kitchen Boa. Your demonstrations are excellent and very easy to follow.. I am now a new follower of yours. Please keep up the great work.
Just made 3 this morning. Loved your tutorial. I’ve wanted to make this for a long time but didn’t like the tutorials out there until I found yours! Thank you so much!
Love your channel and am thinking about gifts for ❤ day. Would love to have a PINK iron. Please tell me the brand and maybe where I could purchase one. Also info about your “little iron board”. I am 85 years old and would like to sew something easy and useful. Have never been able to sew since Stretch n Sew went out of business. Will try this. Thank you so much!🥰
I taper the middle from the center I fold it in two and measure about 9 inches, 4.5 inches from each center. I sew close to the edge, then double sew about half inch from the first stitch.when I fold it I make sure it is facing the back. Turns out great.
I plan to make several of these, so i have pre-pleated my towels. It should save me a bunch of time when i get my "sleeves" ready to sew.
🥰

This was very helpful. I think you said the cotton fabric should be about 39 inches long. Is that correct?

Increase stitch length at the end to 3.0 to sew over the thickness. A 90/14 needle will also help if you are having a problem with thickness.
You do a beautiful job teaching. Very clear in your explanation..
I am happy I found your video, you explain your instruction very well, show every step.thank you,❤
Loved your tutorial so easy to understand.
Great instructions. Made a test one today and it came out great. Thank you!!!
I love it, so easy! Where did you buy the material?
I really liked the way you pleated the towel. You made it look really easy. I subscribed . I’m interested in seeing other videos.
Going to try one, but thought if I could taper the end around your neck?
Yeah you could for sure do that, would be fairly simple I think

Cute ideas, could not sew through towel and cotton without breaking needles
oh no!! ya that might happen... i would def use a real strong needle for that step if you have it!
What is the size of tea towel?
How much cotton material should be purchased?
half yard should do it :)
@@Charmedbyashley thank you!
I caught the 10" wide but what was the length again, please ?
Oh, and you are great instructor.
Cute!!
❤
😍
Standard tea towel is 43"x71" ?holy cow, mine are way off Lol
Haha that was cm, it's 17" x 30" I think
@@Charmedbyashley I was jus going to comment on this as well. I’m like that’s not a tea towel, that’s a tea blanket. Haha thanks for clarifying.
@@bellebereznay8845 haha oh dear! well hopefully they read these comments befor they start cutting up their blankets haha ;)
I call them kitchen towels and depends on the make, to how big they are. Just use a standard kitchen towel. Will work great.
