This project was my most requested “after Christmas “ gift last year. I had made gift baskets that had the oven mitts, pot holders, napkins & matching placemats with the star of the basket being the “hand towel boa”. Your project just took it over the top, that is for sure!
Can't wait to give this a try! It's awesome to be able to personalize a gift! Especially since you can pick out your favorite fabric and be able to sublimate on the towels! Thank you!
My friend introduced them to me last summer. I found that the part that goes around your neck needed to be about half as thin, it gets hot around the neck. I love it in the yard also, wipe that sweat away, lol.
I liked y.our technique for attaching the towel. My friends and neighbors are now asking me for me "new" BOA, I call it the Napkin BOA. Great for Seniors or folks in rehab centers. I cut the fabric 32", The towels remains the same. Great for wiping off hands and especially the face. My neighbor now wants one for her disabled grandchild. A friend in Arizona wants several for her son-in-law who is always spilling food & drink on himself. She tried one of these and said it worked great and her daughter was able to keep his face cleaned up. fd
I LOVE these! I am always throwing a towel over my shoulder when I am baking so I have one handy. The problem is the towel can fall off my shoulder and often does. So then I have to get a clean towel! Frustrating. This is amazing fix. I am making a few with my favorite thing and the theme of my kitchen, COFFEE! LOL. I bet I will be making these for gifts as well. Thanks for sharing!
Made these last year and they were a huge hit with my bakers in the family!!! Absolutely love them and the idea is just genius!!! Thanks for sharing this, now I don’t have to teach my mom! Lol
@@JenniferMaker The instructions say do not sew the ends together. Yes, sew the cotton middle together, but do the the two towel ends just remain unsewn along the seams? TY for your response! The finished item is never shown on the back side.
Nice. Why do you want the fabric to be only cotton? Wouldn't a Cotton/poly be ok too. I just want something that would look nice after washing and not need ironing. The orange one with the bees is my favorite. My name is Carolyn too - birthday coming up. 🙂Thank You.
I used a black kitchen towel and white vinyl for my design but When pressed the white vinyl turns almost see thru :( What can it be? I've seen people using black towels with white vinyl and that never happens.
Hi Jennifer. I didn’t have a question. I was replying to someone else’s question. Sorry for the confusion. OH. I can’t want to see the towel boa. I’m going to make them for so many people.

Wow! Glad to hear that! 😃
These will be awesome for Mother’s and Father’s Day gifts
Yes! I agree!

I received one of these boas for Christmas. I plan on making them for gifts this year
Wonderful!

Thanks for letting me know that! ♥️
So thrilled about a project that incorporates both sewing and the cricut!
Thank you! 😃

You are so welcome and I hope you do make some!💗
Those are really great! I think that would be a great gift for my sister.
Definitely!
love, love the fabric you used
So glad you liked it! 💗
Great for Mother's or Father's Day. Father's day designs?
Please request that! That is a good idea! jennifermaker.com/projectrequests/
What a wonderful idea..
Glad you think so!
I have not seen these before. What a great idea!❤ I will be making some as gifts, thank you!
Have fun!💗
Such a great idea! I’m always reaching for my tea towels.
Me too!!💗
I can't wait to make these. I love it!

Great job, so pretty
Thank you!
So excited for this!
Yay! 😃
Cute idea
I love this idea so cute I can’t wait to make it but I have one question can you use something else besides the microfiber towels?
Yes! If you are using infusible inks or sublimation choose a high polyester count. 100% cotton can be used with iron-on.
So awesome. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!💗
I don't have any of the press machines. Can you use a regular iron?
Yes, you can use an iron but the heat may not be evenly distributed.
Really Like! But where did video show how you finish off the two towel ends seams?
Take a look at the video at about 6:12 💗

I just wanna know where you got your sewing machine!
You can find it in the description. It is a Janome.

The fabric part is really for around your neck so you can use a cotton blend 💗

That is strange. What brand did you use?
@@JenniferMaker I thinks it's called four oh five basics. From hobby lobby.

Thank you! 😃❤️❤️❤️
Looks like I have another “new” project. 😆
Have fun! 💗
Can anyone tell me how to get these crafters off of my design space. Hundreds of them everytine I open up to do a project
That is correct.
I’m sorry. I don’t understand your question.
Do you have a question I can help with?
Hi Jennifer. I didn’t have a question. I was replying to someone else’s question. Sorry for the confusion.
