I love this idea. I need one. I was ducking from the bathroom across the hallway into our bedroom one time. Our teenage grandson came over for an impromptu visit and I didn't hear him talking in the lounge with Grandpa. Out from the bathroom I emerge in my birthday suit when I my grandson's horror he sees me. I hope I haven't damaged his eyesight. 🤣🤣
What a fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much Miss Laura…loved the elastic examples and explanations…can’t wait to try and make one. Have a marvelous week! 🤗🤗
As always a clear tutorial, you really just have that knack of explaining things so easily, I have made lots of these before they are super handy, I also used to make changing towels for the beach, similar sew the long sides of the towel up, make a casing for the top, pop in elastic so you can get you head through arms inside and you can completely change on the beach in comfort and privacy.
Thank you. I have been mulling over the idea of making my towels into wraps and I appreciate that you’ve already solved all the problems that I thought might occur.
I will have shoulder replacement surgery in a few weeks & have looked for something easy to put on for around the house. I won't be able to use my arm so need something that doesn't go over the shoulder. My husband will have to help me dress & this is the perfect item. Thank you for the clear tutorial & instructions. This will be my first buttonhole venture but am sure I can do it. 😀
Buttons are best snaps don’t hold Velcro like you said catches, and hook and eyes snag things too. This is nice. Well done. Can you make a bag to hold things in the car behind the head rest? Something like a shoe pocket thing only for the car so stuff isn’t around the console or loose.
I like this idea! It seems easier than the one I made with toweling for a pool coverup years ago. I did use two buttons and buttonholes, though! Thank you, Laura!
Great tutorial. I agree about Velcro. Not my favorite material. If it's not fastened securely when you put the wrap in the laundry, it catches the fabric elsewhere and causes runs. 😢
You are very smart....how did you know I was thinking of how to fit the elastic to a towel wrap? your explanation have come JUST ON TIME!!! thank you!! Josefiina Mccarty, greetings from U S A Florida
i HAVE ALSO MADE THESE - BUT i LIKE YOURS BETTER 0 SISTERS WEEKEND - i ALWAYS MAKE SOMETHING TO GIVE MY 6 SISTERS GUESS WHAT i'M MAKING TO BRING LOL - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH & i CAN SEE SOME CHRISTMAS PRESENTS ALSO LOL
I love your video. I've been making these off and on for 20 years. These make great gifts. However I am facing a dilemma. I have several friends who are on the large size. A standard size towel won't accommodate them. I need help addressing this issue in so many ways. Any suggestions?

Well done Laura, I made my first towel wrap 50+ years ago, and this is the way I made it! Buttons are alway the best fastener.
I made one of these about 5 yrs ago, for myself and for a granddaughter. We also used them for over our swimsuits.
Many times you don't feel cold in the water, but you do when getting out. The beach would be the perfect use of these!
