Your tutorial is the best of all others that I watched. Best was the fact that the fabric did not have to be 45 inches long. I wanted to make them closer to 36 or less and you showed that. You also made it clear to put the seam down the center of the back. I plan to make many of these for Xmas gifts. I will however put the pleats on the towel to the back. I prefer the front to have a nice clean look with no pleats showing. I will be watching anything else you show. 5 stars to you. Thank ;you for sharing and Happy Holidays.
Your video is perfect ‼️ not too fast or too slow just right speed for me ! Thank you ! Love the music and your voice is calming with excellent instruction 😊
I bought one in a gift shop for my husband - they used a fabric for the towel that looks like a honeycomb - that shrink after the first washing. I’ve been looking for a tutorial on how to make them so I can make him a new one - looks so easy I think I’ll be making lots for family also! Thank you
They are very easy to make. I cut my fabric 10” by the width of the fabric. That may be a little long for some people. What I suggest doing is just drape a tape measure over your neck and just see when to want you tea towel to hang on you. You don’t want it so long that it gets in your way while cooking. I personally don’t fold my tea towel unless it’s a plain flower sack tea towel then I will fold it because I plan on putting a heat transfer vinyl design on it. But if not I just take a needle and embroidery thread and do a very wide running stitch to gather it. And then stretch it out to fit perfectly into the fabric I have sewn. There are so many ways to decorate them, the possibilities are endless
Hi Stacey, should I prewash the material for the towel boa? I prewash the towels for when I embroider on them so I will prob. prewash the towels. Let me know, thanks.
Could you kindly give me the make of your self sealing mat and transparent ruler. I have tried to find it on the internet, but with no success. Thank you most kindly.
It might just be me, but hearing the music over and over and over and over when to stop talking gets very monotonous. Aside from the music, I like your videos

Why is what I take as the back/wrong side of the towel sewed to the front/pretty side of the boa?
Hi, I’m sorry you think it’s sewn on the wrong side. You should sew it on whatever side works best for you 🤗
Cute idea and great tutorial!
Thanks so much Maggie 🤗
